Flora manages to pull herself upright and nods her head, "T-that sounds nice..."

"Alright." She carefully prepares the tea, until it's ready to drink. "Hope you're okay with jasmine tea though I do have a few other flavors."

"Always thought it was a nice touch they gave the newbies a solid anchor of experience to lean on."

Cahya:
Instead of resting, Cahya fumbles around in her bag and pulls out her medical kit, retrieving her sutures, scissors, and scalpel, and other various assorted items, then takeso ut slightly less savory items from another compartment, "Ahahya...it is favourable indeed that I brought spares..."

Reika:
"I don't know how much of a 'solid anchor' I am..." Reika replies, "I mean, my old team...we had several successful hunts but..."

Flora:
"J-Jasmine is just fine..." Flora carefully watches as the tea flows into the cups, refreshed by the scent of tea.

Miyako:
"Just be careful; I wasn't sure how hot you wanted your tea." She says as she takes a sip from her own cup.

Yuumi:
"Yeah, there's always a 'but', isn't there..."

Miyako:
Miyako loses 30 hit points.

"...my team died. All of them..." her voice wavers as she talks, "It caught us off guard...took out half our ranks before we even realized it was on top of us..we couldn't save them and this...this thing was hell bent on finishing us all.." Reika clenches her eyes shut once more, this time to hold back tears. She stops walking and looks away, "...I couldn't do anything then either...their screams...I couldn't move, I froze up...I was useless in that encounter and it's haunted me ever since..."

Flora:
Flora is healed and gains 21 hit points.

Miyako:
"TCH, should have been more careful myself." She says accidentally burning her tongue a little, but the tea otherwise feels refreshing.

Solace:
The squid warps into the room and carefully wraps its tentacles to pick up the cup. "Inkay!" She delicately brings it to her master's mouth.

Flora:
In a coordinated effort Flora reluctantly tests the heat of the fresh brew, and takes her own sips of content.

Miyako:
"Hmm...that was...nostalgic." She says as she finishes up her tea. Miyako puts her Levin Sword on the side to not only stop carrying it, but so he can have some rest too. "...Hmm, you got a dependable partner."

Reila♀ :
"...Pika...." I'm still in shock.

Yuumi:
"Alright. So what's next?"

Flora:
Her lips part from the cup and Solace sets the cup back down on the nearby counter. "He's been with me since I started scribing as a child... All of the... Tags I make are from her ink..."

Yuumi:
"This is obviously something that isn't going to go away anytime soon. Are you hunting this thing down, or what?"

Reika:
"...ideally, yes. It may seem petty...I don't know...but this thing took everything from me." She looks down at the ground, "Oldboy and Imperius are all I have left from hi-..them..so if I lost them too...let alone lost my new team as well.." Reika sighs heavily again, "I feel bad even calling it 'my team' if I can't even support you all as a leader.."

Miyako:
"...Hmm, you're the same as me then. Hiryu has been with me as a loyal friend since I found him near the lake when we were both little and Reila...is my first Pokemon who's been with me ever since she first hatched out of her egg."

Yuumi:
"If it means anything, I think you're doing a great job."

Reika:
"That means a great deal, Yuumi...I'm trying my very best..."

Flora:
"Growing up with them... certainly is a wonderful experience..." The teamwork sipping technique occurs a few more times. "What made... you and your Pokemon want to become a Youkai Buster...?

"..." She's hesitant on saying anything for a while, but... "Keep this between you and me. Can you assure me of that?"

Yuumi:
"Personal vendetta is one thing, but don't you dare make this a suicide mission."

Reika:
"I can't ask that of you all...I couldn't..."

Flora:
Flora gestures her squid to help her with a scratching head expression, "I mean... if it's something really personal... you don't have to tell me..." she ponders for a bit, "I'm sure it's eaiser to keep a secret that I may forget rather than to remember and tell..."

Miyako:
Miyako closes her eyes in thought for a sec. "...No, it's okay if I tell you just a little about me; I owe you at least that much. I won't say anything you absolutely won't need to know of course." Miyako says with a small smirk.

Yuumi:
"And you won't. But we'll do it anyway. We're kinda stupid like that."

Flora:
"...Well the choice is yours... I'll try and open up my ears as best as I can... Mind is still knocking at my head's door..."

Yuumi:
"Look, all I'm saying is - full respect to your team, believe me, I'm sorry for what happened. But like you said, you were caught off-guard. WE don't have to be."

Miyako:
Miyako's smirk leaves her face as she begins slowly telling her story. "I...I was born special. I'm sure you've seen by now, but for whatever reason, this sand around me is always near me, wanting to protect me." Said sand slowly surrounds Miyako as she continues telling her story.

Miyako:

*Knick knock....* Cahya hears something...intruding upon her room window while doing all of her medical hubub. I wonder what's going on there....

Reika:
"I'm just...afraid...really. I can't put it any other way. I want to fight this beast, I want to slay it and avenge everyone...but to my very core, I'm terrified of what may happen." She looks back at Yuumi, "The entire encounter earlier...all I could think about was that it would show up. I had a terrible, horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that..that beast would show up and I'd be unprepared..."

Flora:
Flora nods, and continues to listen in while finishing her tea.

Whatever it is appears to be attempting to be stealthy, but you can easily detect it through sound

Cahya freezes, then takes a rag and wipes around her eye, "Ahya...whatever could that be...?"

"I'm not sure why, and I'm not sure how, but it does. You'd think this would make me some sort of special snowflake, huh? Well..." She looks away for a sec.

Cahya:
She turns around to look toward the source,

Cahya:
"Sight is not the only sense one has..."

Flora:
She tilts her head and whispers, "...Well...?"

Cahya:
"Although, mine ought to be rather good now!"

Miyako:
"...Everyone in my home town shunned me. They were always so scared of me, like I was some kind of freak. I didn't have any friends for a long time. Whatever happened to my real parents...I don't know. Supposedly they died when I was born, but I've never seen them. The people who adopted me were absolutely terrible though. They shunned me too and I'd have to sleep outside a lot." Miyako looks at the sand around her as it still surrounds her. "I'm...not sure if this power I have is supposed to be a blessing or a curse...but it was the reason for my isolation from everyone."

Orochimaru:
"Hah....it seems I've been detected. No need to hide myself any further."

Cahya:
"Oh, my...Haya! You! Why, if you had wanted in this room, you need only to have asked..."

Flora:
"But here you... friends with the lot of us... Times bring change, right?"

Orochimaru:
Orochimaru stands, unusually independent of his giant snake for once, on the rafters of the building, his small frame assisting him well in this endeavor. "Nah, I have my own backup in case of that. Rather, you reminded me much of....a certain someone."

Yuumi:
Yuumi shrugs. "I always saw fear as more of a choice. Either it's gonna happen or it's not, you just have to be aware of both options. Doesn't work for everyone, but it's done me pretty well."

Orochimaru:
"I figured I may as well observe you in case your clan is hiding any...unusual tricks from me."

Yuumi:
"...of course, it helps that I'm a bit of a cheater."

Cahya:
Cahya's eyes brighten as she gapes at the little critter, "...oh? My, there are but a few of us out here! Where did you meet them? Oh, no! Wait! You were watching me? Oh, me, oh my!"

Miyako:
"Hmm...I'm not sure if I'm ready to call everyone that yet..." Miyako continues her story after a deep breathe. "It wasn't until I saw a yellow egg in the forest when I ran away crying from home. It was all alone by itself and it hatched all of a suddenly into a tiny little rat. It immediately jumped into my little arms, as if I was her mother. I'm not sure what happened to her parents...though I can only assume the worst had happened, but in a way, she was just like me...and my first friend."

Miyako:
"You can see what she's grown into now, I hope." She smiles in thought.

Orochimaru:
"Don't get it twisted. I only have those sort of eyes for one person in particular. Rather, I seem to have gotten lucky in my analyzations...having previously come across another member, or at least someone very similar to, your clan in my journies here..."

Flora:
"Providing her... with which you no longer have... It is a positive turn, and you gained a friend too..."

Orochimaru:
"He was, um....a very special individual, I'll say that much...but somehow, he managed to best me at my own game...and that couldn't have been natural..."

Reika:
"I suppose that's one way to think about it...I just can't numb myself to that though...everything's so fresh in my mind..." Reika shakes her head, "I'm afraid to face Oldboy after that last fight...I had just gained their trust and now I've failed them both like this..."

Orochimaru:
"And I can tell he certainly wasn't natural by any stretch of the imagination...nor do you seem to be, going by that look in your eye..."

Yuumi:
"Reika, come on! You were right in the middle of not one, but TWO legendary Pokemon! You can't afford to be this hard on yourself! Oldboy probably thinks you did just fine, given the circumstances."

Miyako:
"Then...I met Hiryu when he was just a little Froakie. He was being bullied by some stupid that kept hurting him and kicking him. I don't know why, but my first instinct was to rush in and help him out...and that was when I first used my sand powers to actually hurt someone believe it or not, though they ran away scared before things went too out of control."

Cahya:
"Aww...I cannot say I am not a little disappointed... Ahaha... Oh! What was his name? Ah, well, as you are still alive...I know the answer already! it can only be him! Which game were you defeated in, little one? You owe me that much, having spied on my clan's secrets! People have died for less information than you have just gathered!"

Hiryu♂:
"Frog..." Hiryu thinks back to that event, concentrating.

Reika:
"I know, I know...it's just...I feel the need to be flawless for them...truth be told, they're not...well, actually mine...Oldboy and Imperius belong to my old squad's leader...or belonged, rather..."

Flora:
Flora still aborbing the story, nods along.

Yuumi:
I'm gonnna do the sensible thing and -not- ask about what happened to your Pokemon.

"Oh, that's no sweat off my back. If there's anything the great Orochimaru is good at, it's slithering out of situations. Otherwise, I'd be on my 8th life so far...anyway, I was away from my squad at the moment...so it was just me and Tsutanda up against him. It turns out I was at a natural disadvantage though..."

Reika:
"I...I wouldn't say that...he gave his life to protect me. I was on death's door as it was..but he pushed his Pokemon to take me to safety...I don't think a day has gone by since that I don't wish it was me in his place instead..."

Orochimaru:
"Tell me, assuming we're still talking about the same person, are you...after him by any chance? Or will this information too, get me sent through the execution ring again?"

Flora:
"Self defense huh... Sheesh... what a journey..." She looks between Hiyru and Miyako. "Friends huh... The world sure is an interesting place..."

Miyako:
"I wanted to help Pokemon in anyway I could. The main commander (not MT, more like the official one) one day recognized my talent and she...eventually grew into the first person I didn't completely despise. I needed more power, so...I suppose that's why I joined the Youkai Busters and accepted her help to control my powers...though I still have a long way to go."
Yuumi: (( I'll respond to ya in a bit MT, eating dinner ))
Reika: (( It's all good, just blasting Code of Princess music and making unnecessary purchases on amazon. ))

Miyako:
She takes another deep breathe. "And...I suppose that's my story. To be quite honest with you...I'm not sure what I'm supposed to feel these days. But I'm not gonna stop my journey for a long time."

"Truth be told, I've had some run-ins with the Chitin clan myself. Well, I've have run ins with many different clans, that sort of comes with the job description, but I never would have guessed I'd be encountering members of them here...if I can even call you that. Perahps a dirty traitor is more like it, hmm?"

Reika straightens up, "I-I'm sorry Yuumi. I didn't mean to force that all on you..."

Cahya:
"Ahahya...'A style can only be called mastered once it has evolved past its former limitations...I have learned that people are the same way.' Those were Aruna's words when he fought the elder! I am of the mind that his philosophy applies to our clan as well!"

"Hmm..." Miyako nods. "At...the very least, thank you for listening to my story. It's not one I tell often for obvious reasons."

"Eh, anything I could say would be pretty slim pickings after that. You've got as much right to vent as anyone else. I just happen to be a good listener!"

Reika smiles for once in the conversation, "You are..thank you, Yuumi."

"Hmph, fair enough. Next time we're out on the battlefield though...keep staying out of my way. You've mostly been doing a good job of doing that so far, but I don't exactly want you to get sand in your mouth." Miyako jokes a little with a smirk.

Miyako reaches out her hand for a handshake. "...Thanks again for listening to what I have to say."

Solace:
Your hand is met with a squid instead. "Inkay!"

Yuumi:
"Really though, c'mon. I've got something to show ya if we can find a nice clearing. Might help you take your mind off things, if only for a moment."
