「これはこれは勇者様。今日はどのような用事で？」

　テントに顔を出すとあの紳士の奴隷商がもったいぶった礼儀の掛かるポーズで俺達を出迎える。

「おや？」

　奴隷商はラフタリアをマジマジと見つめて関心したように声を漏らす。

「驚きの変化ですな。まさかこんなにも上玉に育つとは」

　とか言いながら俺の方を何かガックリ来るように肩を落とす。

"Oh if it isn't sir hero.  How may I be of service today?"

The gentlemanly owner of the slave shop appeared with a flourish to welcome us.

"Oh?"

Surprised, he look at Raphtalia curiously.

"What a surprising change.  I did not think you would grow so well."

He said in a disappointed voice while slumping.

「……なんだよ」
「もっと私共のような方かと思っていたのですが期待はずれでしたな」

　それはどういう意味だ？　とは言わないよう我慢しよう。

「生かさず殺さず、それでいて品質を上げるのが真なる奴隷使いだと答えてやる……」

　ドスの利いた声で奴隷商に返答する。

「お前の知る奴隷とは使い捨てるものなのだろうな」
「な、ナオフミ様？」

　ラフタリアが上目使いで心配そうにこちらを見上げた。
　自分でもちょっと調子に乗っていると自覚はある。
　なんというのか以前より少し余裕ができた。

"...What."
"I thought you would be more like us, how unfortunate."

What does he mean?  But I'll just keep that question to myself.

"Real slave traders would raise high quality slaves by keeping them half alive."

He casually continued.

"Then the slaves you know of were discarded after being used, right?"
"N-Naofumi-sama?"

Raphtalia looked up at me concerned.
I've become a lot more confident now.
My situation now is much better than last time.

「……ふふふ。そうでしたか、私ゾクゾクしてきましたよ」

　奴隷商の奴、俺の答えが気に入ったのかこれでもかと笑みを浮かべる。

「して、この奴隷の査定ですな……ここまで上玉に育ったとなると、非処女だとして金貨７枚……で、どうでしょうか？」
「なんで売ることが既に決定しているんですか！　それに私は処女です！」

　ラフタリアの言葉に奴隷商は驚きの声を発する。

「なんと！　では金貨１５枚に致しましょう。本当に処女かどうか確かめてよろしいですかな？」
「ナオフミ様！」

"Fufufu.... That so, i'm excited."
(note: he says 'im excited' in other inappropriate places so just think of it as him talking like a fag.)

The slave owner, maybe amused by my reply, let out a laugh.

"Then, looking at her condition... she's grown quite well.  For a non-virgin... how about 7 gold coins?"
"Why are you talking like I'm going to be sold!  Also I am still pure!"

Shocked at Raphtalia's words, the slave owner let out a gasp.

"Oh my! Then how about 15 gold coins?  May I confirm if she is a virgin?"
"Naofumi-sama!"

　ラフタリアが金貨１５枚だと！？

「ナオフミ様！？　ねえ、なんか言ってくださいよ」

　金貨１５枚、確かLv７５の狼男が買える金額だぞ！
　そんな思考をしているとラフタリアが凄く怖い顔でガシッと俺の肩を握り締める。

「ナオフミ様……お戯れは程々にしませんと怒りますよ」
「どうしたんだ？　怖い顔をして」
「私が査定されているにも関わらず、全然擁護しないからです」
「余裕を見せないと舐められるからだ」

　と、誤魔化すしかないだろう。ちょっと考えが脳裏に過ぎったのを見抜かれたらラフタリアに見限られかねない。
　さすがに俺をこの世界で唯一信じてくれた子を売るような真似はしない。

"Naofumi-sama!? Hey, please say something!"

15 gold coins would be enough to buy the Level 75 male wolf!
While I was having those thoughts, Raphtalia tightly grabbed my shoulder with a scary look on her face.

"Naofumi-sama... If you keep playing around I'll get mad."
"What's wrong?  You have a scary look on your face."
"You're not defending me at all even though I might be sold."
"I'm just playing along."

-Is how I'll have to play it off as.  Although I did consider it, Raphtalia saw through me.
I shouldn't pretend to consider selling the one person in this world who believes me.

「金貨１５枚か……」

　小さく呟くとラフタリアの力が強くなる。

「いたい、いたい！」

　ラフタリアの攻撃力って……俺の防御力を上回っているんだなぁ。
　これは頼りになる。戦闘的な意味で。

「……このまま逃げてもよろしいでしょうか？」
「冗談だよ。ラフタリアがそんなにも綺麗になって高く評価をされているんだなと思っただけだよ」
「そ、そんな……ナオフミ様ったら……」

　なんかラフタリアが大人しくなって照れている。
　この動作はむかつく。
　……自分でも思うが、何故？　一体どうしたと言うのだ？

"15 gold coins..."

Raphtalia's grip becomes stronger when I murmur this.

"Ow, ouch!"

Raphtalia's offensive strength... has become greater than my defense.
This is reliable.  In a combat sense.

"...I'll run away you know."
"It's a joke.  I was just thinking how amazing and beautiful you've become."
"T-that... Oh, Naofumi-sama..."

Raphtalia for some reason became bashful all of a sudden.
Kinda irritating.
... Is what I thought but why?  What did I say?

「まあ奴隷商、コイツは売らないと決めているんだ」
「そうですか……非常に残念です。して、何の御用で？」
「ああ、お前は聞いてないか？　城での騒ぎ」

　俺の問いに奴隷商はまたもニヤリと笑う。

「存知ておりますぞ。奴隷の呪いが解かれてしまったのですね」
「知っているなら話は早いな……というか、何しに来たのか分かっているなら査定をするな」

　主に俺がラフタリアに愛想を尽かされそうになっていたというのに。
　まったく……。

"Well, she's not for sale."
"I see... that is too bad.  So how may I help you?"
"Ah, did you not hear?  The commotion at the castle.

The slave trader grinned at my question.

"I have.  The slave curse was removed, no?"

"If you already know then this will be simple... Don't ask in the first place if you already know."

When i'm already tired from dealing with Raphtalia.
Good grief...

「あの王の妄言程度でこの国の奴隷制度はなくなりませんよ。ハイ」
「ん？　貴族は奴隷を買わないんだろ？」
「いえ、そんな事はありませんよ。むしろ富裕層の方々の方が多い位であります。使用用途は色々ありますからね。ハイ」
「あのクズ王、元康……槍の勇者の肩入れしてあんな事言ったら貴族が反感を抱いたりしないのか？　いや、俺なら抱くぞ」

　そうなると滑稽なんだがな。
　というかむしろそうなってくれればこの国も良くなるのに。

「まあ、この国も一枚岩ではございませんので。そんな事をすれば手痛い目に遭うのは掲げた貴族です。ハイ」
「あのヒゲ親父が、そんなに権力を持っているのか？」

　独裁国家的な国なのだろうか。
　だとしたら十年持たないな。いずれ反乱でも起こって滅亡するだろう。
　なんせクズ王が国を治めて、ビッチな王女が後継者だもんな。

"You know, despite what the king declared the slave system will still exist. Yes."

　脱線してしまった。考えてみれば、もう会わないクズ王の事なんてどうでも良いな。

「で、呪いを掛けてもらいに来た訳ですね。ハイ」
「ああ、出来るか？」
「何時でも出来ますよ」

　パチンと奴隷商は指を鳴らすと奴隷認証をした時の壷を部下が持ってくる。
　ラフタリアは恥ずかしそうに胸当てを外して胸を露出させる。

"Actually, in this country, rather than the king--"
"Um... back to the matter of the slave curse..."
"Ah, yes."

We've digressed.  Now that I think about it, I don't care what happens with that trash king.

"So, you've come to reapply the curse, Yes?"
"Yeah, is that possible?"
"Whenever you want."

With a snap of his finger, a assistant appears with the jar from when we first marked her.
An embarassed Raphtalia took off her armor and exposed her chest.

「ど、どうですか？」
「何が？」

　何をそんなに恥ずかしそうにしているのだろうか。
　しかも溜息までする始末。
　俺が何かしたのだろうか？
　後は前やった時と同じように俺の血を染み込ませたインクをラフタリアの奴隷紋があった場所に塗りつける。

「文様は破壊されていますが、修復も割合可能なのですよ」
「へー……」

　消えていた文様が浮かび上がり、ラフタリアの胸で輝き始める。

「くっ……」

"H-how is it?"
"How is what?"
"... Haa..."

Why is she acting so embarassed?
Even sighing afterwards.
Did I do something?
Just like last time I added my blood to the ink and it was coated on Raphtalia where the old mark used to be.

"Although the mark was erased, it is possible to restore it."

The erased mark begins to reappear as Raphtalia's chest glows.

　やはり痛いのだろう。ラフタリアは痛みを堪えている。
　俺の視界に奴隷のアイコンが復活する。
　命令や違約行為に対する該当項目をチェック。
　……前よりは少なめにして大丈夫だろう。
　ラフタリアは俺に信じてもらう為に奴隷に戻ったのだ。俺もラフタリアを信じなければいけない。

「さて」

　どうするかと考えていると不意に残ったインクのある皿が目に入る。
　触れてみると盾が反応していた。

「なあ、このインクを分けてもらえないか？　その分の金は払うから」
「ええ、良いですよ」

　インクを入れた皿から盾に残ったインクを掛ける。
　スー……と盾はインクを吸い込んだ。

As expected, it seems to hurt.  Raphtalia tries to bear the pain.
Before my eyes the mark is restored.
I need to check the reaction from disobeying orders.
...It should be fine to go easy this time.
Raphtalia became a slave again to gain my trust. I should also trust her now.

"Now then."

While thinking about what to do I noticed the there is some ink left on the plate.

"Hey, can I have some of that ink? I can pay."
"Sure, go ahead."

I spread the remaining ink from the plate onto my shield.
Suu- my shield absorbs the ink.

　奴隷使いの盾か……まあ、なんとなく頷ける結果だな。
　ツリーは独自の物なのか新しく出現。元はスモールシールドから派生している。その分、あまり強くない。
　だけど、装備ボーナスがちょっと魅力的だ。

　成長補正か。
　というかインクを少し流しただけでなんで二つも開いたんだ？
　徐にラフタリアの顔を見る。

Slaver's Shield... well, that's somewhat expected.
Something new appeared in the tree.  Branching from Small Shield.  It's not that strong.
However, the equipment bonus caught my attention.

Improved growth.
But just from a little bit of ink 2 items were unlocked?
I carefully look at Raphtalia.

「なんですか？」

　そういえば髪の毛を盾に吸わせた事があったな。あの時はラクーンシールドに目が行ってたけど、こっちも満たしていたのかもしれない。
　たぶん、奴隷使いの盾Ⅱがそれだったのだろう。ツリーを満たしたので一緒に解放された。
　そんな所だと推察する。
　となると……。

「ラフタリア、ちょっと血をくれないか？」
「どうしたのですか？」
「いやな、少し実験してみたくてな」

　首を傾げつつ、ラフタリアは俺がインクに血を入れた時と同じように指先にナイフを少しだけつけて血を滲ませ、俺が差し出した盾に落とす。

　奴隷使いの盾Ⅲの条件が解放されました。

"What is it?"

That reminds me that the shield absorbed her hair before.  'Racoon Shield' was unlocked at that time but maybe that also fulfilled some of other conditions.
Probably that was for Slaver's Shield 2.  With the conditions fulfilled 2 things were unlocked.
I reasoned about it.
In that case...
(note: i guess his logic is that absorbing things fulfill conditions in the skill tree so since he absorbed her hair before, now with the ink multiple shields were unlocked.)

"Raphtalia, give me a bit of your blood."
"What, Why?"
"There's something I want to test."

Tilting her head, Raphtalia makes a little cut on her fingertip and spreads some blood onto the plate.  I drip it onto my shield.

　よし！　推理は当たった！

「ナオフミ様？　なんか楽しそうですよ」
「ああ、面白い盾が出てきたんでな」
「それはよかったですね」

　俺は盾を奴隷使いの盾に変えて解放を待つことにした。

I change my shield to the Slaver's Shield and wait for it to unlock.
(note: not sure what he means by 'unlock' here)

「さてと……ん？」

　ここでの用事も大半が済んだし帰ろうとすると、テントの隅に卵の入った木箱に目がいった。
　見覚えが無いものだ。なんだろうか。

「あれはなんだ？」

　奴隷商に尋ねる。

「ああ、あれは私共の表の商売道具ですな」
「お前等の表の仕事ってなんだよ」
「魔物商ですよ」

　なんかテンション高めに答えられた。

"Now then... Hmm?"

We've finished our business here and begin to leave but a wooden box filled with eggs catches my eye.
I don't remember seeing this last time.  I'm curious.

"What is that?"

I ask the slave trader.

"Ahh, that is what we sell as our business front."
"What business is that?"
"A magic beast shop."

For some reason he answered excitedly.

「魔物？　というとこの世界には魔物使いとかもいるのか」
「物分りが良くて何より、勇者様はご存じないですか？」
「会った事はない気がするが……」
「ナオフミ様」

　ラフタリアが手を上げる。

「どうした？」
「フィロリアルは魔物使いが育てた魔物ですよ？」

　聞いたことも無い魔物の名前だ。一体何を指しているんだだろう。

「何だ、それは？」
「町で馬の変わりに馬車を引いている鳥ですよ」
「ああ、あれか」

"Magic beast?  In that case, are there also magic beast tamers?"
"How perceptive, was Hero-sama not aware of this?"
"I don't think I've seen any..."
"Naofumi-sama."

Raphtalia raises her hand.

"What?"
"Filorial are magic beasts raised by a tamer."

The name of a magic beast i've never heard of.  I have no idea what she means?

"What is that?"
"A bird used in the city in place of horses to lead carriages."
"Oh, those things."

　チョ○ボにしか見えないあの鳥ね。
　この世界独特の動物かと思ったら魔物だったのか。

「私の住んでいた村にも魔物育成を仕事にしている人がいましたよ。牧場に一杯、食肉用の魔物を育ててました」
「へー……」

　あれか？　この世界にとって牧場経営とかの類は魔物使いというカテゴリーに組み込まれているのかも知れない。

「で、あの卵は？」
「魔物は卵からじゃないと人には懐きませんからねぇ。こうして卵を取引してるのですよ」
「そうなのか」
「既に育てられた魔物の方の檻は見ますか？」

　欲しいのなら売る。奴隷商は商魂逞しいな。

Those birds that look like chocobos.
I thought those were just animals unique to this world but I guess they were magic beasts.

"In the village I lived in there were also people who raised magic beasts.  There were a lot on farms and were raised for their meat."

Is that how it is?  In this world it seems people who work on farms also count as magic beast tamers.

If I showed interest he will sell them.  The slave trader is a businessman.

　他に用事もあるし。

「で、あの卵のある木箱の上に立てかけてある看板は何だ？」

　なんて書いてあるのか分からないけど木箱に矢印がついていて、数字らしき物が書いてある。

「銀貨１００枚で一回挑戦、魔物の卵くじですよ！」
「１００枚とは高いな」

　俺達の所持金は銀貨５０８枚、かなりの大金だ。

「高価な魔物ですゆえ」
「一応参考に聞くが、フィロリアルだっけ？　それはお前の所じゃ平均幾らだ？」
「……成体で２００枚からですかね。羽毛や品種などで左右されます。ハイ」
「成体という事はヒナはもっと安いのか。更に卵の値段だけで、育成費は除外だとすると……得なのか？」
「いえいえ、あそこにあるのは他の卵も一緒でございます」
「なるほど……くじと言っていたからな」

"No, it's fine."

I have other matters to attend to.

"So what is that sign on top of the box with the eggs?"

Although I don't know what's written there, I see an arrow pointing to the box and characters that look like numbers.

"One try 100 silver coins, Magic beast egg lottery!"
"100 coins is pretty high."

We currently have 508 silver coins.  That is a hefty price.

"Because they are expensive magic beasts."
"Just making sure but Filorial's?  How much are they normally?"
"Starting at 200 coins for a grown one.  Lots of byproducts like feathers. Yes."
"So chicks cheaper than adults?  So this is the price of the eggs... since there is also the cost of raising it?."
"Nono, we also have other types of eggs in there."
"I see... since it's a lottery."

　ハズレもあれば当たりもあると言う奴か。
　ハズレを引けば目も当てられない。当たりを引けば元より高め。

「で、あの中には当たりが無いって所か」
「なんと！　私達がそんな非道な商売をしていると勇者様は御思いで！？」
「違うのか？」
「私、商売にはプライドを持っております。虚言でお客様を騙すのは好きでありますが、売るものを詐称するのは嫌でございます」
「騙すのは好きだけど、詐称は嫌いって……」

　どんな理屈だよ。と、半ば呆れつつ考える。

「それで？　当たりは何なんだ？」
「勇者様が分かりやすいように説明しますと騎竜でございますね」

　キリュウ、騎竜……たぶん、騎士団の将軍クラスが乗っていたドラゴンか？

So he's saying there are losers and winners.
So a loss is worth less while a win is more than the attempt.

"So there's probably no winners in there right?"
"What! Hero-sama thinks that we would do such a scam!?"
"Am I wrong?"
"We have pride in our business!  Although we do like to trick our customers, we would never misrepresent our products." (note: i guess theres a slight difference)
"You like to deceive but won't lie..."

What kind of logic is that.  I wonder dumbfounded.

"So?  What is the winning prize?"
"An easy way to explain to you would be a Kiryuu."

Kiryuu?  That's maybe... a dragon that a knight commander would ride?
(note: kiryuu kanji is horse + dragon roughly, he's just randomly guessing using that)

「馬みたいなドラゴン？」
「今回は飛行タイプです。人気があります故……貴族のお客様が挑戦していきますよ」

　飛ぶドラゴンかー……夢があるな。

「ナオフミ様？」
「相場ですと当たりを引いたら金貨２０枚相当に匹敵します」
「ちなみに確率は？　その騎竜の卵の出る奴だけで良い」
「今回のくじで用意した卵は２５０個でございます。その中で１個です」

　２５０分の１か。

"A horse-like dragon?"
"These are flying types.  They are quite popular... so nobles often vie for them."

Flying dragons... like in dreams.

"Naofumi-sama?"
"The market price for one of these winners is about 20 gold coins."
"What are the chances? Just for the Kiryuu."
"Right now there are 250 eggs in the lottery.  Among those, one."

「見た目や重さで分からないよう強い魔法を掛けております。ハズレを引く可能性を先に了承してもらってからの購入です」
「良い商売をしているな」
「ええ、当たった方にはちゃんと名前を教えてもらい。宣伝にも参加していただいております」
「ふむ、確率がな……」
「十個お買い上げになると、必ず当たりの入っている、こちらの箱から一つ選べます。ハイ」
「さすがに騎竜とやらは入っていないのだろう？」
「ハイ。ですが、銀貨３００枚相当の物は必ず当たります」

　自然と笑みが零れる。
　待てよ……コレってコンプガチャじゃねえか、コラ！
　こういうのは大本が得をする様に出来ているんだ。
　あと少しでまた騙される所だった。

"Strong magic has been cast so you can't tell from looks or the weight.  Only after customers acknowledge they may not win do we allow them to play."

"Yes, If one wins we make sure to get their name.  From the publicity we get lots of participants."
"Yes, it's just luck..."
"If one attempts 10 times then we allow them to pick one from the box. Yes."
"But, excluding the Kiryuu?"
"Yes. However, However there are ones worth 300 silver coins."

Hearing this makes me smile.
Wait a second... Isn't this just CompuGacha? Hey!
(note: wikipedia says its a mobile game.  think of it like puzzle&dragons)
With something like this it is easy to reap huge profits.
I was nearly tricked again.

「うーむ……」

　しかし、中々面白いものを見せてもらったなぁ。
　考えてみれば仲間がラフタリアだけではちょっと心もとなくなってくるかもしれない。
　奴隷を新しく買うのと魔物を飼うのではどっちが得だ？
　新しく出た奴隷の盾を試してみるのも面白いよな。ラフタリアはLvが上がっているから成長補正の恩威が少し受けづらいし。

　しかし、ふと元康とかの顔が浮かぶ。
　あいつ等、奴隷を解放しろとかうるさかったからなぁ……ラフタリアが美少女だからかもしれないけど。
　それにラフタリアとだって面倒だなと感じた事は何度もある。
　そもそも奴隷には装備を買わなければいけないから、金の無い俺には厳しい。

"Hmm..."

Still, I ended up seeing something interesting here.
If I think about it, with just Raphtalia I feel somewhat vulnerable.
Which would be better, buy another slave or raise a magic beast?
It would be interesting to try out the new Slave Shield.  Raphtalia's level has already went up so it would be difficult to get the benefits of Slave Growth+.

However I'm reminded of Motoyasu.
That guy sure was annoying about freeing slaves... Although maybe it was just because Raphtalia was a pretty girl.
Also, there were lots of times were Raphtalia was a lot of trouble.
Additionally I would have to buy equipment for the slave.  This would be a problem for the penniless me.

「よし、じゃあ試しに１個買わせて貰うか」
「ありがとうございます！　今回は奴隷の儀式代込みでご提供させていただきます」
「太っ腹じゃないか。俺はそういうの好きだぞ」
「ナオフミ様！？」
「どうした？」
「魔物の卵を買うのですか？」
「ああ、ラフタリアだけじゃこの先の戦いが厳しくなるだろうと思ってな。奴隷を買うのは装備代を考えると高くつくし、一発魔物辺りでも育てて見るのも一興かとね」
「はぁ……でも、魔物も大変ですよ」
「それくらい分かってる。ラフタリアもペットくらいは欲しいだろ？」
「……ドラゴンを狙っているのでは無いのですか？」
「最悪ウサピルでも問題は無い」

"Okay, then I will buy a single try."

　小動物は嫌いじゃない。ネトゲでだってテイミングペットがあるじゃないか。あれと同じ感覚で、一種の清涼剤代わりになってくれれば良い。何より奴隷と同じく命令できるのなら俺よりは攻撃力があるはずだ。
　金銭に余裕が少しだけあるからか財布の紐が緩んでいる自覚はある。だけど悪い投資ではないはずだ。
　何より奴隷に盾があるならば魔物にあっても不思議じゃない。

「育てて売れば奴隷より心が痛まないしな」
「ああ、なるほど、そういう事ですか」

　愛着は沸くけれど、俺達には金銭が無いんだ。我慢するしかない。
　奴隷は相手が人故に売る時が一番厳しいと思う。何だかんだでラフタリアが俺を慕ってくれるようにいらなくなった、慕う奴隷を売るとなると、俺には出来るかわからない。
　その点、魔物には喋る口が無いからな。どんなに懐いていたって、心が少し痛む程度で済む。
　良い買い主に巡りあえよ。とか勝手な願望を押し付けられるし。

It's not like I hate animals.  Even mmos have pet taming features.  It hopefully is the same and is relaxing to raise.  Either way, as long as it is able to obey orders like a slave then it should have higher attack than me.
I notice that because I have a bit of extra money now I am starting to be reckless with my spending. However, this should be a good investment.
Anyways with the Slaver's Shield it makes sense to own a magic beast.

"Selling it off after raising it won't be as painful as with a slave."
"Ah, I see.  That makes sense."

Although we may end up attached to it, we have no money so we'll just have to bear it.
Since a slave is another person, having to sell would be very sad.   If for some reason I have to sell a slave that has become attached like Raphtalia, I'm not sure I would be able to.
However, magic beasts arn't able to talk so no matter what it will only be slightly painful.
Leaving them behind with a 'I hope you meet a good master'.

「そういう斡旋もやってるだろ？」
「勇者様の考えの深さに私、ゾクゾクしますよ！　ハイ！」

　奴隷商のテンションも上昇中だ。
　とりあえず一杯並んでいる卵を見る。
　サーチとかはできないようにしてあるっポイ事を言っていたからな。
　まあ、ここは適当に選べば良いだろう。

「じゃあこれだな」

　なんとなくの直感で、右側にある一個を選び、取り出す。

「では、その卵の記されている印に血を落としてくださいませ」

　言われるまま、卵に塗られている紋様に血を塗りたくる。
　カッと赤く輝き、俺の視界に魔物使役のアイコンが現れる。
　奴隷と同じく禁止事項を設定できるようだ。

"So you also provide those services?" (note: reselling of slaves)
"I'm excited by how insightful hero-sama is! Yes!"

The slave owner gets really enthusiastic.
For now let's just look at the eggs.
He said something about there not being a way to search through them.
Well, I guess just randomly picking one is fine.

"This one then."

Using my intuition I pick one out from near the right.

"Please mark with your blood this seal to remember which."
(note: pretty direct translation since hard to word while keeping the meaning.)

Like he instructed, I smear my blood onto the design on the egg.
A bright red light shines as an icon representing the magic beast tamer appears.
I guess this is the same as with restricting what slaves could do.

　……俺の指示を無視すると罰が下るように設定する。ラフタリアに比べると厳しい目にチェックしておく。
　所詮は魔物だ。こちらの言葉は理解できるのか良く分からないからきつい方が良いだろう。
　まだ孵化していないけどな。
　奴隷商はニヤリと笑いながら孵化器らしき道具を開いている。
　俺はその卵を孵化器に入れる。

「もしも孵化しなかったら違約金とかを請求しに来るからな」
「ハズレを掴まされたとしてもタダでは転ばない勇者様に脱帽です！」

　奴隷商の機嫌も最高潮に達している。まったく、潜在的な被虐願望でもあるんじゃないかコイツ？
　男を詰る趣味は無いが……まあ、他のクソ勇者が苦しむ顔は見たいな。

...Setting a punishment for if my orders are ignored. I'll make it more severe than the one on Raphtalia.
It's a magic beast afterall.  Since it can't understand my words that well it would be better for it to be harsh.
Though it hasn't even hatch yet.
While grinning the slave owner opens a incubator-esque machine.

"If for some reason it doesn't hatch I'm going to ask for compensation."
"How admirable! Hero-sama who won't take a failure lying down."

I take note of the slave owner's mood and attitude.  Geez, isn't this guy is a bit of a masochist?
Although I don't get off on verbally abusing other guys... well, I do want to see the suffering faces of those shit heros.

「口約束でも、本当に来るからな。白を切ったら乱暴な俺の奴隷が暴れだすぞ」
「私に何をさせるつもりですか！」
「心得ておりますとも！」

　奴隷商の奴、すっげー機嫌が良い。

「何時頃孵るんだこれ？」

　銀貨１００枚を奴隷商に渡してから尋ねる。

「孵化器に書いております」
「ふーん……」

　なんか数字っぽいこの世界の文字が動いている。

「ラフタリアは読めるか？」
「えっと、少しだけなら……明日くらいに数字がなくなりそうです」
「早いな。まあ良いけど」

　明日には何かの魔物が孵化するのか、楽しみになってきた。

「勇者様のご来場、何時でもお待ちしております」

　こうして俺達は卵を持って、テントを後にするのだった。

"Even though it's just words now, I really will come.  I'll unleash my violent slave on you."
"What are you going to make me do!"
"Duly noted."

The slave owner is seriously in a good mood.

"Around when will it hatch?"

I ask the slave owner after handing over 100 silver coins.

"It is written on the incubator."
"Hmmm..."

The number-like characters are changing.

"Raphtalia can you read?"
"Um, Just a bit... it says around tomorrow."
"So fast.  Well that's good."

"We will await your next arrival."

In the end we leave the tent with our egg.
