  3. One addition to Skyrim Online that will not be available at first is being a Werewolf. It is not implemented immediately so more attention to other aspects of the game can be completed, and also to add a new feature later to increase the lifespan of the game. The werewolf form is similar to in game, with all changes listed and have balance kept in mind.

  5. Becoming a Werewolf: The only way to become a werewolf is by equipping the DLC item "Ring of Hircine." This ring allows players to transform into a werewolf as a power, replacing the first slot of the reward category. Thus, werewolves only have 2 remaining slots to buy items in the shop. This power cannot be used right away, and instead a "Beast" meter charges at the bottom left corner of the screen. When full, this power can be used. The ring also adds a 100% poison resistance because of the player's Lycanthropy, which is treated as a poison. Having Lycanthropy also adds a 100% weakness to silver weapons in both forms. Lycanthropy is cured with a Cure Poison potion.

  7. Beast Meter: The beast meter is a bar that shows the progress the player has in becoming a werewolf. The meter is charged primarily by dealing damage and loosing health, with small bonuses. Once the beast meter is at 100%, the werewolf power can be activated. The meter is reset on death. The ways to increase the meter are listed here:
  8. >When a player's health is above 20%: (DamageDone x 0.12) = % of increase
  9. >When the player's health is at 20% or below: (DamageDone x 0.2) = % of increase
  10. >When loosing health: (DamageTaken x 0.12) = % of increase
  11. >On kill: +15% increase

  13. Werewolf Effects: Being a werewolf has many different effects than standard play. A short animation is played when transforming into a werewolf, and the player is vulnerable to being attacked. Once a werewolf, the player has 60 seconds to retain in this form before automatically transforming back. The abilities and added effects of being a werewolf are here:
  14. >While you are in beast form, you cannot use any of your equipment, spells, or shop items.
  15. >All armor and effects from the armor like enchantments and armor ratings are removed
  16. >The player's primary and secondary load outs are replaced by only one set of unarmed in both hands
  17. >100% poison resistance
  18. >+50 max health, +100 stamina, +20% faster stamina regeneration.
  19. >-100% Health regeneration
  20. >Silver Weakness: The Silver Sword and Silver Greatsword (both new DLC variants) do twice the damage to werewolves, in both forms.
  21. >Werewolf Claws: Unarmed attacks do an extra 50 points of damage.
  22. >Pressing both attack buttons simultaneously will preform a slower attack that will parry when possible, and no longer has the throwing effect.
  23. >Totem of Spectral Brothers: Replaces the power in the first slot, calls two spirit wolves. They both have 60 health, and do 40 points of melee damage per bite. Has a 30 second cool down.
  24. >Totem of the Predator: Replaces the power in the second slot, detects life for 5 seconds. Has a 15 second cool down.
  25. >Totem of Terror: FINISH ONCE ILLUSION IS DONE. Has a 60 second cool down.

  27. Feeding: While a werewolf, you can feed on the dead bodies of living creatures. You cannot feed on the undead, animals, ash piles, or anything else that was not deemed living. Feeding causes an animation where the werewolf is vulnerable. Feeding will restore 100 points of health throughout the animation, and adds 30 seconds to the werewolf form time, but the timer cannot exceed 60 seconds.

  29. Werewolf Strategy: The main goal for the player that has Lycanthropy is to increase their beast meter and become a werewolf. The werewolf form has little drawbacks, and is a powerful state to be in. To increase the meter, the player should focus on not only dealing damage, but taking it as well and having a good recovery. Combined, this will raise the meter quickly.
  30. Once in the state, there is no way to instantly return back, and the timer increases with each feeding. The totem powers should be used frequently, as they all recharge, and have their own different advantages. The two handed attack can be used to parry, on top of being powerful.
