Syfy answered the door before I even knocked, like how she always used to do when she was younger whenever she knew I was visiting. She already knew beforehand why I was coming by this time but she still asked me the same question.
"What did you do this time?"
Not even one second at the door.
"Whatever do you mean? I can't visit my grandchildren and mon favorite petite fille for once without you assuming I committed a murder?"
She sighs but she still smiles as if she expected this from me, "Come on Grand-pere,if you visit with Gameloft by your side then something's up." She read through me like a book, that or she saw Gameloft waving at her from the car.
"Okay, okay maybe I might have started another war with Ubisoft and threatened to 'takeover' them by the end of this year."
"And?"
"...And I may or may have not blew up the building again."
"Again? God, grandpa that's the 3rd time this year! You'll end up causing the problem you did with Gameloft when you wanted to take him over, you know that didn't go out well but you're lucky that him as your grandson he forgave you! You promised you wouldn't do this again Viv, you promised me.."
I could feel her heart shatter at those last words, I had given her my word when I had promised.
"I know, I'm sorry I really am but I needed to take drastic measures."
"So you blew it up?"
"At least I have a reason this time."
"Grand-pere please.. I'm worried for you as you are with me. Just, promise me this again that you'll reason with this situation instead of causing chaos. I know you have a strong hatred against Ubisoft and disagree with him on many things but please grandpa.. Can you keep this promise for me?"
"I promise this time."
She hugged me, "Thanks, Viv."
"But,uh. You don't mind if I kidnap him right? It may just end with him surrendering and giving up."
"As long as you don't blow up the building again, then I don't care. You won't kill him right?"
"No promises to that."
