My self-summary
Hi there, I'm Alice, it's very nice to meet you.
I'm 19 and from Swansea, Wales. I quite like it here and don't plan on moving away anytime soon. And in answer to your question, no it does not rain here all the time.

I'd say I'm a pretty nice girl and I'm quite motherly towards my friends which is probably annoying at times, but I really can't help it. I've tried and tried and tried not to care, but it's never going to happen. I'm definitely considered the good girl and the innocent one which, if I'm honest, is true most of the time. Note: most.

I'm a cheerful person, I don't tend to be angry very often and I get excited over the smallest things. I really do seem like a seven year old sometimes with what excites me but I think the smaller things are what count. I'm remember a lot of small details from my life that most people would forget, but I love remembering it all especially when I remind someone else of it and they go "oh yeah!" and they have a big smile on their face. It's lovely to see.

I listen to music a lot, it's pretty much my life. I can't play any musical instruments but I find it fancinating to see when other people play. Even just looking at all the notes on the paper is interesting and I find it crazy that they can read it just like a book. I find people like that so smart.

I paint an awful lot, I even have my own little painting room in the attic. I find it very peaceful and therapeutic, and I love seeing an idea come to fruition, it's so rewarding. I've even sold a few so must be doing something right!

I love to laugh too and see other people laughing. I believe whole heartedly that a day without laughter is a day wasted. I like a dry sense of humor and witting people. People who can come back with a brilliant come back within a second really entertain me.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm at college studying Fine Art, going into my last year in 11/12, then hopefully off to university to do more Fine Art. I want to become an art teacher and sell my paintings on a little stall :)

I also volunteer at a local animal shelter once a week, I've always loved animals and seeing them suffer needlessly is sad :(

Art, remembering small things, fixing clothes, being messy, looking cute in order to make people guilty, standing upright, and breathing.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love anything poetic, or with a lovely twist ending. I love Dylan Thomas, Roald Dahl, Stephen King...Kerouac, Vonnegut, all the cliches. :p

Movies, hmmm - I love romances, but good ones, like 500 Days Of Summer, or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I love cheesy old action films, like Terminator. And needlessly gory horror films, like Saw.

Shows - Doctor Who, of course. Have I Got News For You. The Simpsons. South Park. Brass Eye.

Music - far too much to list here. But indie, punk, electronic, britpop, little bit of metal, post-rock, ambient, folk.

Food - Yes.
The six things I could never do without
Hair products. Sounds ridiculously vain but my hair really does become an unbelivable mess.

Art, of all kinds. Some people say art is unimportant. Imagine a world without it.

Smiling. I like smiling at people in the street who look sad. I like to think I bring just a bit of niceness to their crappy day.

Good quality tea. I could be constantly drinking tea, given the chance.

Nail varnish. Yeah, I know. It's my creative outlet.

The thought that Michael McIntyre will one day be dead. How does anyone find him entertaining?
