  1. My rough idea was
  2. [11/26/2014 11:31:38 PM] Legend Maker: Send in one of the Magpies
  3. [11/26/2014 11:31:45 PM] Legend Maker: We make up a lietenant
  4. [11/26/2014 11:31:52 PM] Legend Maker: The lieutenant makes a power play
  5. [11/26/2014 11:32:11 PM] Legend Maker: The Magpie decides 'I don't need this shit' and returns back to Sam's world with his or her loyalists
  6. [11/26/2014 11:32:45 PM] Legend Maker: Ergo rendering everyone left on Ash's world expendable and the Magpie doesn't get into trouble because he helped filter out 'bad elements'
  7. [11/26/2014 11:33:00 PM] Steel Komodo: coolio
  8. [11/26/2014 11:34:15 PM] Steel Komodo: so I guess that means you'll want to know who the Magpies are, then
  9. [11/26/2014 11:35:17 PM] Legend Maker: Yeah
  10. [11/26/2014 11:35:26 PM] Steel Komodo: I'll try and give brief summaries of each one, then
  11. [11/26/2014 11:37:10 PM] Steel Komodo: 1. Delia Poe. Codename: Nevermore. Rank: Lady of Sorrow. Suffers from a very acute kind of depression - believes that, since the universe is going to end, there's no point to any of mankind's accomplishments. Basically wants to euthanize the world and get it over with. No powers, but is basically a ninja and uses hidden weapons.
  12. [11/26/2014 11:38:22 PM] Steel Komodo: 2. Dallas Cohen. Codename: Soprano. Rank: Mirthful Lord. You've met her, but rumours about she might have left the Magpies over some sort of disagreement. Keep an eye out for her, though. Class C Sound Manipulator, also has enhancements from bonding with a demon caled Israfel.
  13. [11/26/2014 11:39:51 PM] Steel Komodo: 3. Harold Christon. Codename: Muerto. Rank: Funeral King. A bastard who has a sick fascination with the idea of death. To this end, he's collected a lot of nasty things and likes to inflict them on dissenters and would-be-assassins. Class D Necrokinetic - controls dead flesh. Wields a scythe.
  14. [11/26/2014 11:41:19 PM] Steel Komodo: 4. Kou Akiyama. Codename: Redwood. Rank: Prince of Birth. Think Bushroot from Darkwing Duck if he was half-japanese. Perhaps the most redeemable of all of the Magpies. Class C Geokinetic that controsl soil, also has secondary power of plant control.
  15. [11/26/2014 11:41:40 PM] Steel Komodo: 5. Ivan Vanko. Codename: Junkyard. Rank: Mr. Silver. You've met this guy already.
  16. [11/26/2014 11:43:00 PM] Steel Komodo: 6. Gina Winston. Codename: Roulette. Rank: Mrs. Gold. Acts all happy and peppy, but is secretly resentful of people and thinks they're all greedy fucks. Dresses like a ringmaster to go along with the theme. Class A that controls luck.
  17. [11/26/2014 11:43:55 PM] Steel Komodo: 7. Godfather. Real name unknown, seems to be the self-proclaimed "leader" of the Magpies. Little is known about her except she's nuts and wants to start a third Time War. Seems to be a Class A Shadow Controller.
  18. [11/26/2014 11:43:58 PM] Steel Komodo: there ya go
  19. [11/26/2014 11:44:35 PM] Legend Maker: Kou seems the most likely to get screwed over by a treacherous and ambitious subordinate
  20. [11/26/2014 11:44:52 PM] Steel Komodo: mmhm
  21. [11/26/2014 11:45:15 PM] Legend Maker: So he has 166 subordinates
  22. [11/26/2014 11:45:28 PM] Legend Maker: Based on his personality and the kind of organization Godfather runs
  23. [11/26/2014 11:45:42 PM] Legend Maker: How many do you think would stay loyal to him if his subordinate went rogue?
  24. [11/26/2014 11:45:54 PM] Steel Komodo: Hmmm, toughie
  25. [11/26/2014 11:46:20 PM] Steel Komodo: I think a lot of his subordinates would think he was a bit too weak and sissy for the job
  26. [11/26/2014 11:46:34 PM] Steel Komodo: so a possible 40%? Just shooting at the wind here
  27. [11/26/2014 11:48:10 PM] Legend Maker: Works. Anyway, I had an idea for the subordinate to have some sort of ridiculous armor-based defense
  28. [11/26/2014 11:48:20 PM] Legend Maker: He might be tankier than Ash and Tenshi
  29. [11/26/2014 11:48:28 PM] Steel Komodo: oh god D:
  30. [11/26/2014 11:48:39 PM] Legend Maker: I figure Sam would have issues with enemies where ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK doesn't work
  31. [11/26/2014 11:48:55 PM] Steel Komodo: yeah, he's not that great a strategist
  32. [11/26/2014 11:49:13 PM] Steel Komodo: he used to rely on Landslide to help with that, but then Whitestone
  33. [11/26/2014 11:49:34 PM] Steel Komodo: and now he has Asterokinesis he's gonna be even less of a strategist :U
  34. [11/26/2014 11:51:02 PM] Legend Maker: My idea for beating Armor is
  35. [11/26/2014 11:51:22 PM] Legend Maker: He's the implacable type: not only does he tank, he's barely moved
  36. [11/26/2014 11:52:08 PM] Legend Maker: So Ash uses tricks to lessen his gravity. Not enough to put him into orbit, but enough so that instead of standing his ground, strong blows make him bounce around like a pinball
  37. [11/26/2014 11:52:56 PM] Legend Maker: Then Ash does everything in his power to give him insane whiplash, because while his defense may be impenetrable, Ash is gambling his brain is normal and smashing his brain against the inside of his skull will be as harmful to him as anyone
  38. [11/26/2014 11:53:33 PM] Steel Komodo: oh lawd
  39. [11/26/2014 11:53:38 PM] Steel Komodo: that'd probably work, too
  40. [11/26/2014 11:54:12 PM] Legend Maker: Ash: And THAT, Sam, is why knowledge is power.
  41. [11/26/2014 11:54:41 PM] Steel Komodo: Sam: ...huh.
  42. [11/26/2014 11:57:00 PM] Legend Maker: Anyway this will be used to show off Ash's team and their specialties
  43. [11/26/2014 11:57:25 PM] Steel Komodo: also cool
  44. [11/27/2014 12:00:28 AM] Legend Maker: Like, my rough idea with his mother is she actually converts the Magpies Ubers who come bother her to her side because she's just that inspirational
  45. [11/27/2014 12:01:14 AM] Steel Komodo: I could totes lampshade that
  46. [11/27/2014 12:01:35 AM] Steel Komodo: "Yeah! Screw that one guy we defected to a few moments ago! Let's do the exact same thing, but this time REALLY MEAN IT!"
  47.
  48. Cornwind Evil: They’re going to encounter intelligent life, and they’d want to leave the island because it’s due to finally fall apart from tectonic upheaval. Would Carol react negatively to such a request?
  49.
  50. Cornwind Evil; Probably. She’d say they can’t just let them die - they’re sentient life, and it would probably be like murder to abandon them. Also, she’d very much remember how badly her outburst against the Orvancians went.
  51.
  52. Cornwind Evil: Okay. Just making sure I could do that without you having a IC or OOC objection when you got back on
  53.
  54. Cornwind Evil: The sels. http://www.warrenfahy.com/page_gallery_hender4.html
  55.
  56. Cornwind Evil: http://www.warrenfahy.com/images/fragment_more08.jpg
  57.
  58. Cornwind Evil; ooh, v interesting
  59.
  60. Cornwind Evil: Basically discuss what to do and eventually have Ceneric go out and claim the Gun (is what you and Ven can do)
  61.
  62. Cornwind Evil; ok. Are you gonna pass that on to FV as well?
  63.
  64. Cornwind Evil: Yeah, if he gets on while I’m still here
  65.
  66. Cornwind Evil; cool
