- >Bunch of fat Americans in 10gallon hats showed up one day and started raing the shit out of the land with their loud ass oil fracking operations
- >Shariah Anon wakes up every day at 6am to the sound of the earth shaking
- >One day he decides to get smart and tell them off
- >One of the Doug Dimmadome looking guys eyes blink horizontally
- >Shariah Anon gets spooked out and makes an excuse to leave
- >"oh look at the time, gotta go prey to Allah again"
- >Every once in a while Anon notices strange people following him from that day onward.
- Wheres my Big ass Texan demon with a massive hat at VIVZIEPOP?!
- -
- I actually had an idea for an original character that was a big ass texan demon with a massive ten gallon hat
- Would you like to here it?
- -
- Fk yeah show it off
- -
- Sadly I don't have a drawing (no formal experience) but I do have a solid outline
- Thomas "Tom" Roland (known as "Big Tex" or "T-Rex" both his friends and enemies) is practically a caricature of americas industrial corporate culture, a 9 foot tall Tyrannosaurs Rex-esque monster of a man. I made him look T-Rex ish because 1)He made his fortune mainly off of petrochemicals, which comes from dinosaurs 2)Like dinosaurs, he is a personification of the worst aspects of american "too big to fail" mega companies, except he never exactly failed and 3) Dinosaurs are cool
- He's incredibly bullheaded, stubborn, arrogant and greedy.
- His own pet project corporation Roland Group® is a polluting, undercutting and monopolizing multi billion dollar behemoth. Think of it as a horrifying merger of Dupont Chemical, ENRON, US steel, Chase banking, AT&T, Koch and Northrop Grumman.
- On top of Roland Group, Mr. Roland participates in an organization known as CARTEL (Corporate Alliance for Responsible Trade, Enterprise and Legality) which really is just a mutual welfare union for hells major industrial players to coordinate and protect one another.
- The guy is a major power player in hells economy, and unlike overlords like Vox or Alastor doesn't specialize in a particular service (Television or Radio) but rather would be the guy who supplies and manufactures the TV's and Radio's said overlords use.
- Compared to other Overlords, Roland isn't insane, bloodthirsty or even psychopathic, he's just a greedy dck who'll do anything to get out on top (and may even be sympathetic to Charlie's plans for redemption, since redeeming sinners doesn't threaten his profit margins)
- He dresses up like a normal rich guy from Texas, big 3 piece suits, 70's ties and a big white 10 gallon cowboy hat. All of his vehicles are big ass 1970's land yachts, but are comparatively far more tasteful than other overlords.
- -
- I'm surprised you wrote a Texan without mentioning guns once
- -
- Oh, he's a big gun nut, everything from derringer pocket pistols to 500 magnum revolvers, ruger .22's to M2 Barrett .50cal HMG's
- Even has a couple of Patriot missile launchers & CRAM's to defend is industrial areas from sortie runs
- -
- Forgot to put a slash between M2 and Barrett (he loves them both like children)
- -
- Kek, love it, I'm basically envisioning a demonic Senator Armstrong
- ---
- I want a land yacht! I also love your idea by the way, i might sketch him when i get my new tablet
- -
- I own a land yacht, they're pretty nice
- But be prepared, because most things that you take for granted in a regular car didn't exist 45 years ago
- Say goodbye to
- >anti lock breaks
- >limited slip differentials (not that you'd need one with a 145hp 2 ton car)
- >climate control
- >airbags
- >3 point seat belts for rear passengers
- >you're gonna need 8 tracks/cassette tapes if you dont want to listen to the radio
- -
- >you're gonna need 8 tracks/cassette tapes if you dont want to listen to the radio
- Can't you just rip out the old radio and add a new one?
- -
- But that kind of ruins it
- Sticking a modern radio into a car from 1975 clashes really hard with it
- One of the biggest charms of old cars is the fact that you're relying on a mixture of analog and primitive digital technology
- Plus sticking in a cassette is far more satisfying than tapping on a screen
- -
- Agreed. Even going manual for music is nice. My car is an Alfa Romeo which doesn't have an AUX, so I have a big wallet of CD's. It's just so satisfying to whack one in and crank the volume up.
- ---
- Oh i thought you meant like the boat on land, not a car but something more like a wacky giant hell land boat, sorta like pentious's blimp.
- -
- Land yacht is a colloquialism for huge ass 1960's to 1980's american sedans, which were known for being gigantic and quite luxurious vehicles (compare an English Sunbeam Alpine convertible to an American 1979 Lincoln Continental)

- You under estimate this mans power
- -
- oh sht, is that doug dimmadome owner of the dimsdale dimmadome?
- -
- Yes, it is Doug Dimmadome, owner of the dimsdale dimmadome! And he's coming to your house after school!
- -
- >And he's coming to your house after school!
- That sounds slightly ominous...
