Daemon Slayers.

Daemon Slayers rose as a necessity to the infestations of wild daemons on a multitude of areas. Their exact origins are unknown to be precise. For some reason, a group of people bearing strange rings, with strange powers appeared. They simply slaughtered wild daemons, and the dream force was absorbed within the rings.

Daemon slayers then gained followers. Said followers were given rings, trained to use them, and formed into an order. Their structure is fairly loose. Basically, the only law within them is power. The more daemons you have killed, the more people you can order around. The stronger daemons you kill is basically a further testament to your powers.

The organization is headed by eight Immortals. Immortals are ones who slay a "Daemon King". This is a classification of sorts for especially powerful daemons. Killing one makes you eligible for the position, but if there are eight immortals present at a time, no new one can be made. Generally when someone is made Immortal they have at least three daemon kings down. Some even up to 7. The eight immortals are ranked in terms of power. As stories go, the first and second ranked immortals have never been removed from their positions, or their ranks.

Daemon Slayers use their rings to give them a variety of powers. They are defined in types, in accordance with the element or type of their daemon. A ring only adds its power if you kill a daemon of your type. An ice daemon slayer will grow more powerful after absorbing an ice daemon, but not with a fire daemon.

1. Ring weapons. A ring can become attached to an actual weapon or object. This leads to the object, say a sword, becomes an extended means to channel your powers.

2. Daemon Force. A layer of your power on your body. Covering yourself in the element of your daemon in order to fully utilize it during the time this ability is up. Ghost daemon slayers enter a mini-daemon force mode most of the time they are in combat though.

3. Daemon Reign. Releasing your power, but over a territory around you, to increase advantage in fighting.
