- I hate her when she says,
- My food habits are not okay.
- Life is more than coke, she says
- She wouldn't even let me smoke, to my dismay.
- On her face, she has a smile
- But that's to make up for her evil guile
- In her mind, there float carbs and calories
- She would catch you despite your best stories
- You try to hide from her gaze
- And the software she uses is a maze
- She looks, she types,
- She scores, she smiles,
- Nothing is hidden, invisibility is a myth
- When she controls the pantry and the food in it.
- She hates fries, she hates chips;
- "Almonds and nuts for you", she quips
- You miss the naan;
- and the biryani too
- Like Jesus to his disciples
- "Thou shalt only have chicken stew"
- My once wonderful life has changed to crap
- I never thought I could even run a single lap
- I used to drink alcohol while listening to rap
- However much do her I hate
- On the path to fitness, I admit I was late
- But like the Jedi of Star Wars fame
- Put my lethargic life, did she to shame
- Annoying and angry, every time we talk
- But consider her words I do, when in silence I walk
- There is much wisdom in what she says
- I can't thank you enough on World Dietician Day
