  1. >You always contemplated the silly things
  2. >It wasn't easy fitting in, nor was it fun to fail
  3. >Did people like you?
  4. >Did you like yourself?
  5. >All these things are small and mellow-dramatic
  6. >It only bothered you now because...You're now the new kid in town
  7. >Getting a new job in Canterlot, your father moved you and your mother
  8. >You dread this
  9. >Being the new face always sucked for you
  10. >Besides, you're gonna miss the few friends you had in your old town
  11. >Your new home isn't so bad
  12. >Bigger room, more yard space
  13. >You hope the school won't be bad
  14. >Your mom and dad do their best to reassure you that this will be for the best
  15. >Hopefully they're right
  16. >After a long day of moving in your things, it's dinner time
  17. >Sitting in your new kitchen, you dine on some spaghetti
  18. >Your father speaks up
  19.
  20. >"Settled in?" he asks you
  21.
  22. "I'm fine, just trying to sink in the fact we moved"
  23.
  24. >"It'll get better, just you wait son"
  25.
  26. "Thanks dad, I'll try to get used to it"
  27.
  28. >"Maybe you'll make some new friends dear" your mother chimes in
  29.
  30. "Heh..yeah, maybe I will" you try to sound cheerful
  31.
  32. >Later, you help your mother with the dishes
  33. >Soon after, you retreat to your room
  34. >At least some things weren't different
  35. >Your new room was the same as your old room
  36. >Every poster position
  37. >Every nick-knack position
  38. >It feels relaxing to sit at your desk
  39. >Opening your laptop, you open a bottle of King-Kar lemon tea
  40. >You peek outside your window
  41. >Nothing but a beautiful view of your new home
  42. >Canterlot
  43. >Maybe this won't be so bad
  44. >You could try to make actual friends here
  45. >If not for yourself, you could do this for your parents
  46. >You sip your drink and browse the internet
  47. >Tomorrow was your first day at a new highschool so you don't want to stay up too late
  48. >You mostly browse FaceSpace for the time being to see who lived in this town
  49. >There was a new photo on your FaceSpace wall
  50. >It was of your new home, and taken by your mother
  51. >She tagged you and hash tagged the town
  52. >Looking deeper into it, there's a page for Canterlot
  53. >You forward the image to the Canterlot page
  54. >Sitting back, you drink some more tea
  55.
  56. >*Bling*
  57.
  58. "Hmm?
  59.
  60. >*Bling*
  61.
  62. >Leaning forward you look at your laptop
  63. >You have two new notifications
  64. >You open it
  65. >Some people liked the image on the page
  66. >Someone commented
  67. >Well now
  68. >These must be some of the people living here
  69. >A girl commented on the image
  70. >Some Pinkie Ponk or something like that
  71.
  72. >"Wow! New people! Like, you should totally hire me to throw you a welcoming party!!!1!1"
  73. read the comment
  74.
  75. >Clicking to reply, you let her know that'd be a swell idea in a joking kind of way
  76. >Less than 30 seconds after replying, you get another
  77.
  78. >*Bling*
  79.
  80. >"OMGOMGOMG! I can totally do it! I'll stop by tomorrow after I leave my school!" Pinkie commented after your reply
  81.
  82. >Welp,this can't be helped
  83. >With that, you closed your laptop and plopped on your bed
  84. >You fall into a blissful sleep
  85. >Tonight felt like no other night
  86. >It was as if a new start was in order
  87. >Something rang in your head as you slept
  88. >Don't be that damned shy kid from before
  89. >Be the guy who your friends would walk up to in school and say good morning
  90. >Be the guy who helps someone in need and is returned the favor
  91. >Be the guy who is loved
  92. >Be the guy who is counted on
  93. >Be that guy who didn't know the feel of no friends
  94. >Be cared for
  95. >Sorry frog, but that spaghetti went in your stomach and not on the floor
  96. >Then...there was peace
  97. >Like nothing before mattered
  98. >All you could see was darkness
  99.
  100. >*Brzzt* *Brzzt*
  101.
  102. "Huh?"
  103.
  104. >You opened an eye
  105. >Your phone's alarm was ringing
  106. >Fumbling a bit, you manage to shut it off
  107. >In an upright position, you sit up on the side of your bed
  108. >You rub your eyes as your door opens
  109.
  110. >"Hey son, ready for a new day?" You father stepped in
  111.
  112. >Those words shocked into your mind
  113. >A new day
  114.
  115. "Y-yeah...Yeah! I'm ready dad!" you say excited
  116.
  117. >"I'm glad son, now hurry and get ready, your mother made breakfast, I gotta head to work, it's a new day for me too"
  118.
  119. "Thanks dad, see you later"
  120.
  121. >You freshen yourself up in your bathroom
  122. >With lots of time to spare, you get dressed
  123. >It wasn't a funeral, so you settled with a normal tee-shirt, hoodie, and jeans
  124. >You grab your bag and head downstairs
  125. >The smell of eggs and bacon filled the kitchen
  126. >Sweet, nothing like a good breakfast for a good morning
  127. >Like a wolf, you scarf down that bacon
  128.
  129. >"Whoa there, it's not gonna run away from you" Your mother chuckled
  130.
  131. "Sorry mom" you say
  132.
  133. >"It's fine, you just have a good day at school today, okay dear?" She says as she pinches your cheek
  134.
  135. "Of course mom, thanks!"
  136.
  137. >You finish breakfast and head outside
  138. >There are only two highschools in town
  139. >You'll start going to the one a few blocks away
  140. >Canterlot High
  141. >Oh geez
  142. >You just remembered that Ponk girl might stop by today
  143. >Hopefully your mother is okay at home while you're at school
  144. >After a couple blocks, you see the school in the distance
  145. >Your stomach is full of anxiety
  146. >You don't know the first thing about making friends, what the hell were you thinking?
  147. >Oh..That's right
  148. >Your parents has done nothing but deal with you for your whole life
  149. >You're a lonely, weirdo
  150. >The few friends you had back at your old town weren't really friends but other losers
  151. >Sad thing is that you drifted from them because they were getting comfortable with others
  152. >You don't want to go home the same loser
  153. >You don't want to disappoint your mom and dad
  154. >If you succeed in this, then you'll actually have friends
  155. >Well, let's just hope tha-
  156.
  157. >"Oof!"
  158.
  159. "Whoa!"
  160.
  161. >You accidentally collided with someone
  162.
  163. >"Oops! I'm so sorry, I should've been more careful"
  164.
  165. >You bumped into a purple girl
  166. >She dropped a stack of books along with her
  167.
  168. "Oh no, It was my fault, I wasn't paying attention" you say
  169.
  170. >Like the gentleman your mother raised you to be, you pick up her books and give out your hand
  171.
  172. >"Thank you.." she says while taking your hand
  173.
  174. >You help her up and return her books
  175. >The both of you dust yourselves off
  176.
  177. "Again, sorry..um?"
  178.
  179. >"Twilight, I am Twilight Sparkle" She replies
  180.
  181. >Here goes nothing
  182. >You extend your hand out again
  183.
  184. "Hi there, I'm new around here"
  185. >Twilight shakes your hand and smiles
  186. >A great weight has been lifted
  187. >That went way better than you expected
  188. >Maybe this purple girl could be your first friend
  189.
  190. >"So you're new around here huh? When you move in?" She asks
  191.
  192. "Just yesterday, I didn't really get a chance to meet anyone since I spent most of the day unpacking"
  193.
  194. >"Well, Canterlot's a great place, friends all around" she informs you
  195.
  196. >Friends all around
  197. >Friends
  198. >Score
  199.
  200. >"Hello? New guy?"
  201.
  202. "Huh"
  203.
  204. >You were spacing out thinking about what she said that you didn't notice she was walking away
  205.
  206. >"I said that if you're going to Canterlot High, you could walk with me and I could show you around"
  207.
  208. >ThankTheKraut.avi
  209.
  210. "Oh, yeah, thanks"
  211.
  212. >The two of you trek forward to the large castle that is Canterlot High
  213. >Students are all shuffling into the little entrance
  214. >Good chunks of them were just hanging out by the large statue out front
  215. >You could already spot some people at the side of the school smoking
  216. >Whatever gets them through the day
  217. >As you walk on, Twilight informs you of the school
  218. >She tells you of its many fine elements that "outweigh" other highschools around the state
  219. >You learn of the sports that they play here
  220. >It sounds amazing that just one girl is captain of like every sports team
  221. >Twilight mostly rambles on about the principle and how she's not like any other you'll meet
  222. >She also mentions the assistant principle is the head principle's sister
  223. >Well then
  224. >You try to sound as convincing that you're not an introvert
  225. >She asks about yourself and your life
  226. >As cool as you can, you tell her that you used to play soccer but suck at it
  227. >She giggled at your honesty
  228. >You let her know right there that you're a geek
  229. >You play video games, know how to work technology, etc.
  230. >After a bit of talking, you change the subject to not bore her
  231.
  232. >"You know, it's fine if you're into those things, you don't have to be ashamed" she tells you
  233.
  234. >That tugged a heart string
  235. >All your life, you've been ashamed of yourself
  236. >It hurts to think about it, but that's why you have the internet
  237. >There you could escape reality
  238. >Twilight sees you lower head
  239.
  240. >"Oh..I'm sorry if I offended you" she apologizes
  241.
  242. "No, no, it's fine, thank you for your kindness, I just feel like I could be more than some nerd"
  243.
  244. >Twilight looked down this time
  245. >She looked like she was gonna kick the gravel
  246.
  247. >"You know, I felt like you too once" she started "I was just some bookworm with no friends other than her big brother"
  248.
  249. >She was opening up to you
  250.
  251. >"I thought that I would never make friends, so long as I was just...some nerd"
  252.
  253. >She took the words right from your mouth
  254. >You were feeling bad, having mentioned it
  255. >Then reassurance came
  256.
  257. >"But now is different, I made friends, and they helped through things, I now understand I'm much more than just a nerd!" Twilight was beaming
  258.
  259. >You felt so much better
  260. >This purple-skinned girl just made your morning
  261.
  262. >"Sorry for talking too much" she apologized
  263.
  264. "It's fine Twilight, thank you for opening up"
  265.
  266. >Twilight was smiling at you now
  267. >This is for you mom
  268.
  269. "Twilight, will you be my friend?"
  270.
  271. >"I accept"
  272.
  273. >Your stomach anxiety grew even larger now that you made your first friend
  274. >Maybe this could be a fun day for you
  275. >The two of you have reached the school
  276. >This is it
  277. >You know that making friends will not be easy
  278. >It hurt just to make friends with Twilight
  279. >But her can-do attitude was making you feel more comfortable
  280. >You both passed through crowds of people at the entrance
  281. >Your stomach was beginning to churn again around all these new people
  282. >Luckily, Twilight was by your side
  283. >Not wanting to look like a lost puppy, you give some space between Twilight and yourself
  284. >A couple glances came your way, but nothing extravagant
  285. >Avoid eye-contact is the best idea right now
  286. >Twilight was keeping quiet among the chatter of students passing through
  287. >You didn't want to pester her if she just didn't feel like exchanging further conversation
  288. >Man, this place is regal as fuck compared to your last highschool
  289. >Red curtains around large, thin, glass windows?
  290. >It all seemed as though this place was taken from a kid's show
  291. >Twilight led you to a door which read "Principle's Office"
  292.
  293. >"Okay new guy, This is Principle Celestia's office, she'll give you your schedule and a school guide which comes with a small map of the school" said Twilight
  294.
  295. "A small map? Sure looks like I'm gonna need it"
  296.
  297. >"Don't be nervous, everyone was new at some point" she said as she rubbed your arm warmly
  298.
  299. >You could see how sincere she is being
  300.
  301. "Thanks Twilight, for introducing me here and such"
  302.
  303. >"It's no problem, now hurry before-"
  304.
  305. >*Brrriiiinnnggg*
  306.
  307. >"Oh shoot!" Twilight said in frustration "That's the morning bell, sorry I can't help you further for now, I gotta head to class, see you around!" she said while light jogging to her class
  308.
  309. >The nervousness was returning
  310. >In front of you lie your new fate
  311. >Let's hope you make a good impression
  312. >You open the door slowly but surely
  313. >No idea of what the principle was like
  314. >Twilight's description made her seem as though she were some kind of goddess
  315. >With the door open, you notice a beautiful dame, sitting at her desk, writing things away
  316. >She glances up at you before lifting her head up to look
  317. >At first she had a moment of thought, then she smiled
  318.
  319. >"You must be the new student"
  320.
  321. "Um..Yeah.." you say still unsure of things
  322.
  323. >"You don't have to be afraid young one, I won't bite" she said with a slight giggle "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Principle Celestia"
  324.
  325. >She stood up from her desk
  326. >The first thing to catch your eye is her height
  327. >She is much, much taller than you
  328. >Principle Celestia's height intimidated you a bit
  329. >Your head was up to par with her chest
  330. >It felt weird
  331.
  332. >"Please have a seat" she said as she motioned you to the chair in front of her desk
  333.
  334. >You sit down, with the fear of throwing up
  335. >Principle Celestia made her way next to you, which because of her height and you sitting down, made you feel even more short
  336. >She placed a hand down on your shoulder
  337. >It felt...comfortable
  338.
  339. >"I'd like to personally welcome you to Canterlot High and hope that your time here in this school, is the best one yet"
  340.
  341. "Thank you Principle Celestia" you spoke as you peered up to her beside you
  342.
  343. >Principle Celestia moved to her desk and pulled pout a few things from a drawer underneath
  344. >The contents she pulled out was a student planner, a small map of the school (Thanks Twilight) and a student guidelines sheet
  345.
  346. >"Now, please take good care of these things," she started "They're key to helping you get used to things around here, read over them, and apply them" she said with a chipper voice
  347.
  348. "Thank you, Principle"
  349.
  350. >"Also, here is your schedule, you'll be needing it" she handed it to you
  351.
  352. >You skimmed it a bit as she sat back down in her desk
  353. >8 classes, two breaks, one lunch period
  354. >Your first period class was a "Ms.Cheerilee"
  355. >Principle made it very clear that in order to graduate highschool, you'd need to make all eight credits for the classes
  356. >There were also set criteria for the school system
  357. >Students would need one Gym credit, one Math credit, and one Language/Reading credit
  358. >Fair enough
  359.
  360. >"Now, if you ever have any concerns, questions....anything, please just let me know" she began "If anyone however is bullying you, or you find discomfort or know anything that could be a threat to anyone here, let the assistant principle know, her office is next door"
  361.
  362. "Thank you for all the info. principle"
  363.
  364. >"It is no problem, now you'd better hurry to first period, you're already late"
  365.
  366. >With that, you get up to leave
  367. >As you begin to open he door, Principle Celestia speaks up
  368.
  369. >"Oh, and one more thing," she starts
  370.
  371. >You look over to her
  372.
  373. >"Goodluck out there" she says reassuringly
  374.
  375. >You nod and walk out
  376. >Taking out your schedule, you trek on to your first period class
  377. >Here it is
  378. >So far, so good
  379. >Made a new friend, nothing is wrong with the principle, aside from her unusual height, nothing can get worse right?
  380. >Opening the door, you already feel it
  381. >Fuck
  382. >Fuck, you hate that feeling
  383. >That burning sensation of wandering eyes
  384. >You already know everyone in the class is staring you down
  385. >Why was it this way with schools?
  386. >You slowly step inside
  387. >There was your teacher, Ms. Cheerilee
  388.
  389. >"Oh, hello dear! Come on in, you must be the new student" Ms. Cheerilee presented to the class
  390.
  391. "Uh, yeah, that's me hehe.." you try to say with ease
  392.
  393. >You already can hear the murmuring of students
  394. >Fuuuuuuck
  395. >Just try to tune it out
  396. >Ms. Cheerilee spoke up
  397.
  398. >"Well, I am Ms. Cheerilee, is there anything about yourself you'd like to say to the class?"
  399.
  400. "Um..I'm new" you say trying to avoid being the center of attention
  401.
  402. >"Oh c'mon dear, just something a little more specific" she was prodding
  403.
  404. "Well...I can sort of play the guitar, but I'm not that good"
  405.
  406. >What the hell was that?
  407. >Guitar? Really?
  408. >Well, it could've been worse
  409. >You could've spilled spaghetti on the floor
  410. >Ms. Cheerilee stepped up in front of you and faced the class
  411.
  412. >"Okay class, it appears we have a new student! Why don't you all have give a nice warm welcome to our new friend!" said Ms. Cheerilee
  413.
  414. >The class gave out a robotic "Hello,welcome"
  415. >They sounded more bored than the time your internet went out
  416. >At least no one threw you papers or made fun of your appearance
  417. >The feeling of faces looking at you has yet to leave
  418. >Ms. Cheerilee went over to her desk and gestured you to follow
  419. >She pulled out a form from her desk
  420. >It was a syllabus
  421.
  422. >"Okay, you need to fill this out and have your parents sign it, it also has the list of materials you'll be needing for this class" she informed you
  423. >Pretty basic stuff for starting a new class
  424.
  425. >"Well, if there's anything you need, please feel free to come check me, I'll always be here during class time, and breaks, except for lunch"
  426.
  427. "Thank you Ms.Cheerilee"
  428.
  429. >"Oh, and as of today, you'll be sitting on that empty desk at the back next to Apple Jack"
  430. >You look over to the seat she was referring to
  431. >There you see it
  432. >Next to the empty desk was quite the sight
  433. >A beautiful, bodacious might you add, girl sit there
  434. >She was fiddling with her pencil, looking like she was having a hard time
  435. >You take a moment to admire her
  436. >She has golden locks, that are nearly as bright as the sun outside
  437. >You spot a small amount of freckles on those plush, cheeks
  438. >This girl was dressed like a cowgirl
  439. >She was wearing a denim skirt, with a white blouse to match
  440. >Her leathery, brown boots were crossed with each other, indicating she was sort of bored
  441. >If all of this wasn't enough, she was wearing a ranch hat
  442. >That's new
  443. >First a purple skinned, bookworm
  444. >Now a southern girl, dressed from head to toe ready to do the hoedown
  445. >You're already sweating in your hoodie, and the room is air-conditioned right now
  446. >You walk over to your desk
  447. >You could feel a bit of stares, but it died down a little
  448. >Taking a seat, you meekly look over to the doll right next to you
  449. >Her desk was to your left
  450. >Not wanting to seem nosey, you only take a quick peep
  451. >Huh?
  452. >You look a little again
  453. >From where you're sitting, it seems as though she's doodling nothings on her paper
  454. >Stick figures
  455. >Apple Jack takes notice
  456. >She turns her head to you
  457. >Oh shit
  458. >You're in for it now
  459.
  460. >"Well, Howdy there partner!" She speaks lending out a hand
  461.
  462. >Wut
  463. >Oh lord her accent
  464. >It's like hearing a girl who has a lot of air passage through her mouth
  465. >It's fucking beautiful
  466. >You raise your hand to meet hers
  467. >She takes it gradually
  468. >Her grip on your hand is so tender
  469. >You can tell she does a lot of labor
  470. >If anything, the firmness of it makes you jealous
  471.
  472. >"I'm Apple Jack" she announces to you
  473.
  474. "Heh..like the cereal?" you say trying to break the ice
  475.
  476. >"Erm..Sure, so you're the new kid"
  477.
  478. "Mhmm, just moved in yesterday"
  479.
  480. >"Well I sure hope ya'll are havin' a mighty fine time here in Canterlot"
  481.
  482. "I hope so"
  483.
  484. >You get a better view of what she was writing
  485. >There were some questions written down
  486. >The answers didn't really make sense to you
  487. >Explain WWII
  488. >Her answer was "So there were some folk who messed up bad, and they got angry, so they put down that Firtle Land guy, and everyone got mad?"
  489. >The second question was How do you feel about The Great Depression
  490. >Her answer was "I get all depressed a lot of times, I try to pick myself back up though, sorry if this isn't the right answer you were looking for miss, I'm not too bright when it comes to these things"
  491. >Sadpuppy.exe
  492. >Your heart just sank
  493. >Now you just feel really bad
  494. >AppleJack sees this
  495. >Suddenly, you shoot your eyes back up to her
  496. >She knows
  497. >You know
  498. >She knows you know
  499.
  500. >"Uh..heh, guess you saw that huh?" AppleJack says
  501.
  502. "Y-yeah..sorry for looking" you apologize
  503.
  504. >"It's fine, ah know I'm not the best when it comes to these ol' books, but at least I know it's good enough to get a passing grade"
  505.
  506. >As messed up as it sounds, you're surprised she's passing
  507. >If her answers are like that on everything else, how the hell is she passing?
  508. >Miss Cheerilee speaks up
  509.
  510. >"Okay class, turn in your worksheets, finished or not," she looks at you "And of course you'll be excused for the day"
  511.
  512. >Sweet
  513. >Everyone, including AppleJack get up to turn in their work
  514. >You take notice that AppleJack looks a little more concerned
  515. >When she turns her work in, she gives Miss Cheerilee an "Ahm Sorry" look
  516. >Miss Cheerilee just gives her a smile
  517. >AppleJack returns to her desk
  518. >Well sheeeit
  519.
  520. >"Ah've got a pretty good feeling 'bout this one" she says confidently
  521.
  522. "No doubt in my mind..hehe"
  523. >Soon, you're prompted with the rest of the class to copy down notes
  524. >As some time passes by, you look at your watch
  525. >Based on your schedule, there should only be a few minutes left for class
  526. >Miss Cheerilee starts writing down things on the chalk board
  527.
  528. >"Okay class," she speaks "As of today, you will partner up with one other person, and together, complete this class project"
  529.
  530. >Damn
  531. >No one's gonna want to partner up with you
  532. >You already see people exchange greetings and partnering up
  533. >It seems now would be a good time to lay down your head
  534. >Sorry mom, one friend seems like enough for today
  535. >Someone taps on your shoulder
  536. >Looking up reveals it to be AppleJack
  537.
  538. >"Hey, wanna be partners?" she asks you
  539.
  540. >Huh?
  541. >Why was she asking you?
  542.
  543. "Um..Wouldn't you prefer to be with some of your friends?" you ask
  544.
  545. >"Oh c'mon new guy, ah won't bite ya, you need a partner if you're gonna pass this"
  546.
  547. >She has a point
  548.
  549. "Well..okay then, let's be partners"
  550.
  551. >"Now that's more like it!"
  552.
  553. >Just as son as those words left AppleJack's mouth, the bell rung
  554.
  555. >*BRRIIIINGGG*
  556.
  557. >"Okay class, tomorrow I'll give you the project information for you and your partners" said Miss Cheerilee
  558.
  559. >You pack up your things and get ready to leave
  560. >Miss Cheerilee stops you as the other students leave class
  561. >She gives you a grin that looks forced
  562.
  563. "Uhh...is everything okay miss?"
  564.
  565. >"Everything is just fine," she cleared her throat "ahem, now I don't want to pressure you since it's your first day, but I couldn't help but notice that you're partnered up with AppleJack"
  566.
  567. "Uh-huh, so what's the problem?" you ask
  568.
  569. >"There's no problem, but AppleJack, is..well she isn't the smartest of students"
  570.
  571. "But so far she's been getting good grades"
  572.
  573. >You look down at her desk, to see the worksheets the class did before you entered
  574. >You notice AppleJack got a 78%
  575.
  576. "What about her work?"
  577.
  578. >"Well..AJ is one of the nicest students you will ever meet around here, even though she's not too far when it comes to academics, she certainly does not lack in friendship
  579.
  580. >This triggers you
  581. >An opportunity is opening
  582.
  583. "Okay..so what do you suppose I do?"
  584.
  585. >"I've looked over your file, and it seems that you're a pretty smart kid"
  586.
  587. "Heh..my reputation precedes me"
  588.
  589. >What fucking reputation? That you're a nerd?
  590.
  591. >"Anyways, Just please don't hurt her, or get annoyed with her, AJ is slow, but if you give her time, she'll start to understand, and if you play your cards right, she could be a good friend to you" she states
  592.
  593. >Good friend
  594. >AppleJack certainly wasn't mean to you
  595. >Why should you be annoyed with a nice person like her
  596.
  597. "I understand Ms. Cheerilee, you can count on me!" you assure her
  598.
  599. >"Thank you very kindly, just get used to her southern acts okay? Now you'd better hurry along, it's first break, take the chance to look around and talk to people"
  600.
  601. *Gulp* "Okay miss, thank you"
  602.
  603. >With that, you see yourself out of the room
  604. >Phew
  605. >You just gotta help AppleJack
  606. >She just needs a little nudge and she'll be writing essays like there's no tomorrow
  607. >It's first break, now where do you go?
  608. >A common urge reaches you
  609. >You need to take a leak
  610. >Perusing the area, you try to find the restroom
  611. >A moment of thought reminds you
  612. >You have a map
  613. >Ah! Found it
  614. >Making your way to the restroom, a few people bump into you
  615. >Some people whisper to each other while pointing at you
  616. >This isn't helping
  617. >You take your trip to the restroom to look around
  618. >There are vending machines scattered around this school
  619. >Lots and lots of new faces
  620. >It's gonna take some time to get used to the regalness of this school
  621. >If you didn't know any better, you'd say this were a private school
  622. >You notice some blue girl stuffing a little doggy bag full of what looks like..peanut butter crackers?
  623. >She was rambling on about something
  624. >Among the chatter, all you could hear her say was something like "I'm the late and sour-ful kid's cereal"
  625. >Weird
  626. >You finally find the restroom
  627. >Stepping inside reveals three other students
  628. >Ohfuckmylife.png
  629. >Someone is getting bullied
  630. >A rambunctious hooligan dressed in a leather jacket, with blue hair was holding some kid by the collar
  631. >A stock bully was also standing next to them
  632. >Well shit, it's just your first day
  633. >The two bullies notice you
  634.
  635. >"Hey, hurry and do your business and get out of here" the sonic looking fagoot said
  636.
  637. "Uh.." you don't know how to respond
  638.
  639. >"What? is your brain thick or something? I said scram!"
  640.
  641. >He drops the kid and makes his way towards you
  642. >He cocks his arm
  643. >You brace yourself for a punch
  644.
  645. >"Wait a second...you're new aren't you?"
  646.
  647. "Y-yeah.."
  648.
  649. >"Well consider this a welcome gift you punk!"
  650.
  651. >At that moment, he strikes you
  652. >It hurt like a bitch
  653. >Ain't that a bitch?
  654. >You fall over, a little woozy
  655. >Fuck this guy
  656. >You try to pick yourself up
  657.
  658. >"Hey boss, didn't you hear Luna talking with her sister about the new kid being some smarty when you was in her office?" the stock bully asks the other
  659.
  660. >"Oh yeah..You and me are gonna have a fun year new kid"
  661.
  662. >*BRRRIIINNNGG*
  663. >Saved by the bell...you think
  664. >The two bullies look at each other and scramble out of the restroom
  665. >Before you know it, the bullied kid leaves as well
  666. >Shit..you were hoping he'd help
  667. >Still stinging on the side of your face, you lift your body up
  668. >You take a look in the mirror
  669. >Oh fuck
  670. >That guy got you good
  671. >Now you have a cut on your cheek
  672. >For fuck sakes
  673. >It's your fist day here
  674. >You can't fight for shit
  675. >Sigh, now people are gonna think you're just a push-over
  676. >But they would be right....
  677. >Tears start forming around your eyes
  678. >You knew from the start this wasn't gonna be good for you
  679. >Why bother making new friends
  680. >Twilight was so nice to you
  681. >AppleJack is now your partner for class
  682. >But they don't know you
  683. >Twilight sort of has the right idea of you, but she's still far off
  684. >What good is living on, trying to get good grades, and making friends if in the end, that's all you'd be known for
  685. >Who's going to remember you for saving the world from dark magic while in a harem with two magicians
  686. >Who's gonna remember you for kissing your best friend the night before going on a trip with her
  687. >Who's gonna remember you for being a notorious racer or car tech. employee
  688. >So many others has done better than you
  689. >All you have to show is a messed up face on your first day
  690. >Whylive.jpeg
  691. >Might as well just keep on going until the day ends
  692. >You wash the cut, it's still bleeding but not as much
  693. >You pick up your things and leave the restroom
  694. >Guess getting your face messed tends to change your mind about using the restroom huh?
  695. >Hang in there, you've got spirit kid
  696. >A famous writer once said "Will update later"
  697. >Pulling out your map, you make way to your next class
  698. >The hallways are empty now
  699. >Sigh, now you're late
  700. >With a pep in your step, you make it
  701. >You just want today to end
  702. >Stepping into class reveals a slender-like man writing on the chalk board
  703. >He looks over to you
  704. >So does the class
  705. >Looking over him, you see he is palish grey, with cold, yellow eyes
  706. >He smiles at you
  707.
  708. >"You're the new student Miss Cheerilee has told me about? Aren't you?" the teacher asks
  709.
  710. "Um..I guess so" you say looking to the side, to avoid showing your new mark
  711.
  712. >"Well then, I am Mr. Discord, and I am your science teacher now, please, take a seat over there where it is free, and we can continue on our lesson"
  713.
  714. "Okay sir"
  715.
  716. >As you walk, Mr. Discord asks you a question
  717.
  718. >"My dear boy, at your old school, did they teach you about relationships?"
  719.
  720. "Like...chemical and molecular relationships? Yeah.." you answer
  721.
  722. >"No no, I mean, the relationship of everything, people, art, everything'
  723.
  724. >You're not sure how to respond to that
  725.
  726. "I..I guess not.."
  727.
  728. >"Hoo-hoo haha, then we're going to have lots of fun this year" he replies grinning
  729.
  730. >You take your seat
  731. >You hear a little whimper then look to the person sitting at the same science table as you
  732. >It's a girl
  733. >She looks unsure of you then tries to greet you
  734.
  735. >"H-hello..I..I'm Flutter..shy.."
  736.
  737. "I'm sorry, did you say Shutterfly?" you ask, unsure
  738.
  739. >"Um..sure..if that's what you want.."
  740.
  741. "Erm...I'm not correct am I?"
  742.
  743. >The girl meekly nods
  744.
  745. "Could you correct me?"
  746.
  747. >"It's um..it's Flutter..shy" she says once again trailing off
  748.
  749. "Fluttershy?"
  750.
  751. >"Mhmm.."
  752.
  753. >Well that was awkward as fuck
  754. >Not the whole name thing
  755. >The conversation itself
  756. >It's like she's afraid of you
  757. >The only people ever afraid of you were children
  758. >Apparently you're scary looking to them
  759. >The girl hides behind her bangs as you contemplate
  760. >Then you catch yourself
  761.
  762. "Oh...Um, Hello there..Fluttershy, It's a pleasure to meet you" you say
  763.
  764. >Maybe you could make another friend
  765. >Fluttershy comes out of hiding a bit
  766. >She raises her hand slowly
  767. >Her yellow sweater was big and poofy
  768. >It covered half her palm
  769. >You take the hand gradually
  770. >I think I used that word twice now
  771. >You look the lining of her sweater
  772. >It's not just one yellow
  773. >It's completely covered in different shades of yellow
  774. >You can't tell with the naked eye, but looking closely, it kind of looks like there's fifty shades of it
  775. >Why are you looking at the lining?
  776. >Her hand is so smooth
  777. >It's so soft
  778. >If anything, it's the complete opposite of AppleJack's
  779. >Even the fabric of her sweater is soft
  780. >Your hand feels so comfortable
  781. >It doesn't feel right to let go of the hand
  782. >But you have to
  783. >Oh well
  784. >You release her hand
  785.
  786. >"You should really copy down those notes...Mr. Discord is a very nice man, but he doesn't like failing students" Fluttershy informs you
  787.
  788. >You do so
  789. >Pulling out a notebook, specified for this class, you jot away
  790. >After a while of copying, you look over to Fluttershy
  791. >Wut
  792. >She's already finished with her notes
  793. >Dam Sung
  794. >She notices your staring
  795. >She turns over to you
  796. >Fluttershy then gasps
  797.
  798. >"Oh my.." she says worriedly
  799.
  800. "Hmm? Is something wrong?"
  801.
  802. >Maybe it was your damn staring, you lifeless geek
  803. >Fluttershy retreats to her bag
  804. >She pulls out a handkerchief
  805. >Whytho.png
  806. >Fluttershy then brings it to your face
  807. >She wipes willingly on your cheek
  808. >Huh?
  809. >This feels..good, but what's happening
  810.
  811. >"I'm so sorry, but I just noticed you have a gash at the side of your face" she starts "It's been bleeding"
  812.
  813. >Oh fuck
  814. >How long has it been going down?
  815. >You thought you washed it enough o it wouldn't bleed
  816. >That asshole must've gotten you good
  817. >You begin contemplating your life
  818. >It's only your first day
  819. >You cannot stress this enough
  820. >What the hell?
  821. >This is the type of shit that you see in the movies
  822. >The whole dull male main character
  823. >No chance with the ladies
  824. >New kid in school
  825. >Fight in the first day
  826. >Meets special girl characters who befriend him even though he's antisocial as fuck!
  827. >It's so....Old Fashioned
  828. >Now, there's a shy girl wiping your bloodied cheek
  829. >All because you didn't leave the restroom when that blue hedgehog, haired freak told you to
  830. >Well God damn
  831. >You just want to make friends so your parents won't feel like they failed you
  832. >Fuck you right?
  833. >You also just want to pass through the school year
  834. >Why can't you be more like your brother?
  835. >Did you mention you have a brother?
  836. >He's so much cooler than you
  837. >Popular in highschool
  838. >Had friends
  839. >Went to college
  840. >Joined the military
  841. >Now he writes you stories about his escapades serving the country
  842. >It sounds fun
  843. >Sigh
  844. >You look up at Fluttershy
  845.
  846. "Thank you very much" You try to smile
  847.
  848. >"Oh, it was no problem...how did this happen?" she asks you
  849.
  850. "I won't lie to you Fluttershy, some guy in the restroom socked me in the face"
  851.
  852. >Might as well come clean
  853.
  854. >"O-oh my...Maybe you should tell Vice Principal Luna"
  855.
  856. "I don't know what I'll do, I'll see about it later, for now, I'd like to get through with today"
  857.
  858. >Fluttershy takes her hand away from your face
  859. >She stuffs the blood soaked handkerchief into a little ziplock bag
  860. >You return to your notes
  861. >Suddenly, Mr. Discord yells out
  862.
  863. >"CLASS!"
  864.
  865. >This gets everyone's attention
  866.
  867. >"IF WE ARE ALL MADE OF CELLS, THEN WE ARE NEVER ALONE RIGHT?" the weird teacher asks
  868.
  869. >The class mumbles a bit before everyone agreeing
  870.
  871. >"SO, I FIGURE WE DO A PROJECT ABOUT OURSELVES AND HOW WE RELATE TO SCIENCE THROUGH CELLS"
  872.
  873. >The class just goes along with it
  874. >He then speaks up once more
  875.
  876. >"Oh-ho ho, also, I'd prefer i if you young cell masses were to pair up with another cellular mass"
  877.
  878. >At that moment, you slowly turn your head towards Fluttershy
  879. >She looks up at you
  880. >Your eyes meet
  881. >Fluttershy then gives you a weak smile
  882. "Wanna be...my cellular partner?" you ask
  883.
  884. >Muh spaghetti
  885. >Fluttershy's face shows a tinge of red
  886.
  887. >"That would be..nice" she replies
  888.
  889. >Mr. Discord writes down the project info. on the chalk board
  890. >Two projects in 1 day huh?
  891. >Fluttershy and you copy down the info. into your notebooks
  892. >Something hits you
  893. >Fluttershy seems really nice
  894. >Maybe you should ask her to be friends?
  895. >Hang out later?
  896. >That seems too forward, nevermind that
  897. >Why couldn't you be born with your brother's confidence?
  898. >It's too early to leave, and too late to back out of befriending Fluttershy
  899. >At that moment, Fluttershy and you knew that you'd be partners for this assignment
  900. >This day so far has been a spiral, and it's only second period
  901. >Taking a quick glance at your wristwatch, you notice class is nearly over
  902. >You take this bit of free time to look over the room
  903. >It seems like a normal classroom
  904. >Chemistry equipment in one area
  905. >Computers on another
  906. >Yeah, nothing out of the ordinary here, save for a few bizarre things
  907. >Mr. Discord's desk has some weird nick-knacks on it
  908. >There are six...ponies?
  909. >Why would he have six pony figurines on it?
  910. >Even more odd, three of the ponies have manes that horrifyingly resemble Twilight's. AppleJack's, and Fluttershy's hairstyles
  911. >Maybe that jerk hit you a little too hard
  912. >Another look to your watch
  913. >Just fifteen more minutes
  914. >Fluttershy was writing things onto her notebook
  915. >After what happened with AppleJack, you think it'd be best not to peek at Fluttershy's
  916. >You hear giggling coming from the front of the class
  917. >It's Mr. Discord
  918. >He's giggling at something on his laptop
  919. >Lord he's a weird fellow
  920. >He could make this year not boring for you though
  921. >Yet another look at your watch
  922. >Four minutes now
  923. >You pack up your things into your bag
  924. >Hiking up your hoodie sleeves, you stretch out
  925. >Boy what a first two classes
  926. >None of the material is hard at all
  927. >The drama building up however, might become problematic
  928. >You decide to shrug this off
  929. >Any minute now the bell sho-
  930.
  931. >*BRRRRIIIIIINNNGGG*
  932.
  933. >Ah, there it is
  934.
  935. >Mr. Discord stood up
  936.
  937. >"Alright class, good lesson today, don't forget about this "chaotic" assignment, and have a good lunch" he spoke
  938.
  939. >Fluttershy picked up her things
  940.
  941. >"It was nice meeting you...you should a-add me on..facespace..for the project!" she said abruptly before leaving the class
  942.
  943. >Girls be cray
  944. >You make way for the door
  945. >Mr. Discord stops you
  946.
  947. >"I hope you'll settle in young man" said Mr. Discord
  948.
  949. "Of course sir, thank you"
  950.
  951. >"Oh and one more thing, I notice you speaking with Fluttershy"
  952.
  953. "Oh, yes, she's very nice and kind"
  954.
  955. >Where was this going?
  956.
  957. >"Just know young man, if you ever cross her the wrong way, I'll smash your hands"
  958.
  959. >Gulp
  960. >What?
  961. >Is he like her dad or something?
  962.
  963. "Y-yes sir" you say before finally leaving
  964.
  965. >You hear an audible laugh coming from the room
  966. >God what the hell is up with this place?
  967. >Lunch
  968. >You take out your phone and open the FaceSpace app
  969. >Going through your little notifications, you add Fluttershy
  970. >Almost immediately, she accepted your request
  971. >That was incredibly fast
  972. >You're not complaining
  973. >It feels gratifying to have new friends
  974. >Your cheek still stings but Fluttershy helped with that
  975. >This cut won't kill you so you decide to avoid going to the Nurse's office
  976. >Floods of students fill the hall
  977. >As you walk by, three Freshmen looking girls rush into you by accident
  978. >None of you fall thankfully
  979. >You didn't want to deal with the eyes of people staring at your fall
  980. >You can't imagine these girls would either
  981. >They apologize as they get ready to leave
  982.
  983. >"S'cuse me mister!" The red headed girl with the bow said as she went on
  984.
  985. >"Pardon me sir!" The powdered looking one said gracefully while she followed suit
  986.
  987. >The last girl who looked like a tom girl just stood there for a moment
  988. >You were shrugging as she stared at you
  989.
  990. >"Scootaloo!" yelled the red headed girl
  991.
  992. >Tom girl snapped back into reality as she booped your hip and ran off
  993. >What?
  994. >Ignoring that, you make way for lunch
  995. >Food does sound good right
  996. >What a rush of a day so far
  997. >You pull out your map
  998. >It sort of feels funny having it
  999. >It makes you feel like the newbie more than it should
1000. >Everyone else is accustomed to the school so you're the only one peering down at your map
1001. >Aside from the Freshmen, except no one pays attention to them
1002. >Following the map, you head over to the cafeteria
1003. >A poster on the nearby wall indicates it's Taco Tuesday
  1004. >Oh boy
1005. >You step through the double doors
1006. >Rows and rows of lunch tables
  1007. >Lots of students here
  1008. >Makes sense since it's a public High school
1009. >Yet, it's all so well kept, and clean
1010. >You shake away from the school interior thoughts
1011. >The lines for lunch were forming
1012. >Yourself included in the line
1013. >So much chatter filled the cafeteria
1014. >None of it towards you
1015. >As you waited in the line, your eyes scanned the room
1016. >Nice lunch room, no litter
1017. >Best of all, the sun illuminated the room, rather than needing the use of lights
1018. >You tried not to look anyone directly, in fear of looking weird
1019. >Not only that, you tried to steer clear of that blue haired fag
1020. >Rubbing your cut, it dried up by now
1021. >Your sights are set upon an empty table by the large windows
1022. >Maybe when you're sat down, you can listen to some of your tunes
1023. >Grabbing a lunch tray, you ready to get some food
1024. >As you come up the line, you take notice of the lunch
  1025. >Regular tacos
  1026. >Wait a minute
1027. >These tacos look pretty damn good
  1028. >Crispy looking shells
1029. >Juicy, nicely colored ground beef
  1030. >They even have a topping bar
1031. >There's no fucking way this school has a normal fund system
  1032. >Maybe drugs are involved?
1033. >hehe..save the theories for later
  1034. >You get your taco
1035. >A feeling of emptiness fills you as you sit down alone at the table
1036. >Right next to your table at the wall was a vending machine
  1037. >You could go for a soda
1038. >Pulling out your wallet, you scramble for a couple quarters
1039. >Some choices cross your eyes
  1040. >ParaSprite
  1041. >Dr. Redheart
  1042. >Gypsi Cola
  1043. >....Water
1044. >You settle for some Coke
1045. >Sitting yourself down again, you pull out your phone
  1046. >Time for some music
1047. >Before you could even unlock your phone, an audible sound of trays slamming on the table ring your ears by surprise
1048. >Looking up reveals those three girls from earlier
1049. >The powdery looking one spoke up
  1050.
1051. >"Um, sorry sir, do you mind if we sit here?"
  1052.
1053. >She has an awful lot of mannerism
1054. >Don't girls her age by this point in time stay glued to their phones and scoff at any moment of courtesy?
1055. >These girls don't dress like girls today though
  1056. >They dress...kind of appropriate actually
1057. >You're also grateful that she asked, rather than just rudely take the table
  1058.
1059. "Not at all, please, have a seat" you say
  1060.
  1061. >The girl gave a warm smile
1062. >She and her friends sat down from across you
1063. >The interest you had in listening to your music, was now gone
1064. >Putting your phone away, you begin eating
1065. >That nagging feeling of stares return
1066. >The source was directed back to the tom girl looking one
1067. >The girl who booped you earlier
1068. >Looking up from your tray half-way to not look suspicious, there you saw her
  1069. >She hasn't even touched her taco
1070. >You could clearly see that she was looking at you
  1071. >It was uncomfortable
1072. >Maybe she was looking at your cut?
1073. >You feel your cheek to make sure the bleeding didn't continue
  1074. >Still dry
1075. >What was it on your face that she kept staring at?
1076. >Trying to concentrate on your taco, you overhear their conversation
  1077.
1078. >"Scootaloo" started the red headed one "Yer starin' again"
  1079.
  1080. >You recognize that accent
1081. >It reminds you of AppleJack
1082. >You suppose the tom girl's name is Scootaloo since that's what she was called twice now
  1083.
  1084. >"Huh?...OH!" Scootaloo gasped "M-my bad!"
  1085.
1086. >Peering up, you notice Scootaloo's face was flustered
1087. >Her skin color made her blush look purple
1088. >It doesn't seem like she meant any harm
  1089.
1090. "It's fine, don't worry about it" you say reassuringly
  1091.
1092. >"You'll have to excuse Scootaloo, she can space out sometimes hehe" spoke the powdered one
  1093.
1094. "No offense taken from it, I hope there's nothing wrong with my face heh"
  1095.
  1096. >Nice ice breaker
  1097.
1098. >"N-no..your face is great-" Scootaloo nervously musters
  1099.
1100. >Everyone at the table looked up
  1101.
  1102. "Umm..."
  1103.
  1104. >Visibly, Scootaloo was panicking
  1105.
  1106. >"I um...I mean..uh.."
  1107.
1108. >"What Scootaloo MEANT to say was..that there isn't a thing wrong with your face" powdery one tried to cover up
  1109.
1110. >"Y-yeah! She was probably lost in thought is all" the red headed one followed
  1111.
  1112. >Scootaloo gave a sigh of relief
1113. >The other two tried to smile innocently
1114. >You decide to go along with it
  1115. >These are Freshmen, it's quite obvious
1116. >They don't seem like the cruel teenage shits that most girls are today
1117. >Maybe you can entertain this
1118. >If it goes how you think it will, you won't end up with a another mark on your cheek
  1119. >Here goes nothing
1120. >Putting on a semi-confident look on your face, you speak up
  1121.
1122. "Oh, well I was about to say, your face is great too-"
  1123.
1124. >The girls stop dead in their movements
1125. >Before they could react, you finish your sentence
  1126.
1127. "-Scootaloo..Is it?" with a half smirk on your face
  1128.
1129. >On the outside, you looked casual and smooth
1130. >On the inside, you were spilling spaghetti for days
1131. >Your face was burning up
1132. >Why did you even say that?
  1133. >Suddenly, Scootaloo faints
  1134. >You didn't mean for that
1135. >The red head starts fanning Scootaloo with her hands
1136. >Powdery one speaks up again
  1137.
1138. >"Heh, sorry sir, I think Scootaloo's just smitten by you"
  1139.
  1140. >Smitten?
  1141. >By you?
1142. >You look around behind you
  1143. >They can't mean you
1144. >Maybe they have you confused with someone else
  1145. >You pinch yourself
  1146. >Not a weird ass dream
  1147. >WAIT THE HELL UP
1148. >DID YOU JUST CAUSE A FRESHMEN TO FAINT
1149. >No one has attacked you yet
1150. >These girls don't look like they're gonna slap you
  1151. >Geez
1152. >This wouldn't be so weird for you if you weren't some introvert
  1153. >Powder speaks again
  1154.
1155. >"Uh anyways, I'm Sweetiebelle" she introduces herself
  1156.
1157. >She motions towards the redhead
  1158.
1159. "This Applebloom, and well I guess you already know this is Scootaloo"
  1160.
1161. >This isn't as bad as you thought it would be
  1162.
1163. "It's a pleasure to meet you!" you say extending your hand
  1164.
  1165. >Sweetiebelle takes your hand
  1166. >Hers is so soft
  1167. >So smooth
1168. >You love the way her hands feel
1169. >Shame you have to let go
  1170. >It'd be too weird
  1171. >Pulling away, you smile
1172. >Now that you've been aquainted, you continue on your taco
  1173. >Hang on a second
  1174.
1175. "Wait, so you're Applebloom?" you ask
  1176.
1177. >"That's right pardner!" Applebloom answers before taking a bite out of her taco
  1178.
1179. "So..are you by any chance related to Applejack?"
  1180.
  1181. >Applebloom lit up for a second
  1182.
1183. >"That's mah sister! Do you know 'er?"
  1184.
1185. "Haha, yeah, I just met her today in class, I'm new here actually"
  1186.
1187. >"You're new!? So that means none of us are familiar with this place!" Sweetiebelle pipes up
  1188.
1189. >"Hey, yeah! We could all work together as a team" spoke Applebloom
  1190.
  1191. >A team?
  1192. >What do they mean?
  1193. >Sweetiebelle continued
  1194.
1195. >"Applebloom, Scootaloo, and I have formed a group in elementary called The Crusaders"
  1196.
  1197. >The Crusaders?
  1198. >Now that's just adorable
  1199.
1200. >"So whaddya say Mister, wanna be apart of The Crusaders?" Applebloom offers
  1201.
1202. >You feel that this day has progressed so well so far
  1203.
  1204. "I'd be delighted to"
  1205.
1206. >Sweetiebelle and Applebloom smile at you
1207. >After a brief moment, Applebloom wakes up Scootaloo
  1208. >You properly introduce yourselves
1209. >Scootaloo apologizes for what happened, unaware that Sweetiebelle said she liked you
1210. >All of you begin eating as "The Crusaders" of Canterlot High
1211. >Scootaloo then brings up the only skirmish of the day so far
  1212.
1213. >"What happened to your cheek?" she asks
  1214.
1215. "Huh? Oh...Uh, it's nothing, I just, walked into the door at the restrooms" you try to cover
  1216.
  1217. >It fails
  1218.
1219. >"A thang I picked up from Applejackis her honesty, you shouldn't lie about this, we're all friends now!" Applebloom intervenes
  1220.
1221. >"Yeah! You're a Crusader now, we look out for each other!" Scootaloo speaks up
  1222.
1223. >"That's right, you can tell us anything, that's what The Crusaders do!" Sweetiebelle
  1224.
  1225. >Oh geez
  1226. >These girls don't mean harm
  1227. >They mean really well
1228. >You're still new to all this
1229. >It feels strange to have them all attentive to you
1230. >That's what friends do you suppose
1231. >They do care for one another
1232. >Besides your immediate family, you can't really say you've felt this before from anyone
1233. >Maybe telling the truth won't be so bad
  1234.
  1235. "Well...I.."
  1236.
1237. >The girls are staring at you like cameras to a scene
1238. >You have their full attention
  1239. >This feels...good
1240. >It makes you feel fuzzy inside
  1241.
1242. "I..I got punched by someone in the restrooms..."
  1243.
  1244. >The girls gasp
  1245.
1246. >"You got into a fight?!" Scootaloo asks
  1247.
1248. "Uh..no, There was a kid getting bullied, and I didn't want to leave the restroom, so I got hit in the face by some guy"
  1249.
  1250. >You've never been in a fight
1251. >Can't imagine that you'd last more than a punch anyways
  1252.
1253. >"Well, do you at least know who did it?" asks Sweetiebelle
  1254.
1255. "No..All I know is that he has blue hair" you answer
  1256.
  1257. >"Ya'll don't think..?" Applebloom says
  1258.
1259. >"No, it couldn't have, could it?" replied Sweetiebelle
  1260.
1261. "Um..what are you guys talking about?"
  1262.
1263. >"We were just pondering who could've done this"
  1264.
1265. "I don't know, all I do know is that now I got this gash on my cheek, but it could be worse"
  1266.
1267. >"When ya do find out, make sure to report it to Vice Principle Luna" Applebloom told you
  1268.
1269. >It was good to have some sort of support on your back
  1270.
1271. "Thanks guys, for your concerns" you say, grateful
  1272.
1273. >"It's no worry, it's what we Crusaders do!" Scootaloo replies
  1274.
1275. >With that, you smile before taking another bite of your taco
1276. >A sip of your soda insures you that your troubles are far away
  1277. >Things are well now
  1278. >You've made friends
1279. >Maybe this year will continue down this wonderful path
1280. >Just then you feel a tap on your shoulder
1281. >A glance behind your shoulder reveals a familiar face
1282. >A smiling, purple face was looking down on you
  1283. >Those eyes, behind spectacles
  1284.
1285. "Twilight!" you start "Hey there, how are you?"
  1286.
1287. >"I'm doing fine, how was your day so far?" she asks while readjusting her glasses
  1288.
1289. >You decide to leave out the beating you took
  1290.
1291. "My day has been going great actually, I met some people, and I met these girls over here" gesturing to The Crusaders
  1292.
  1293. >Twilight looks over
  1294.
1295. >"Oh, hey girls!" Twilight waves over
  1296.
1297. >The girls all reply in unison
  1298.
  1299. >"Hi Twilight!"
  1300.
1301. "You guys know each other?" you ask
  1302.
1303. >"Mhmm, I sort of tutor them, and I'm friends with their sisters" Twilight replies
  1304.
1305. >"Twilight's the best, she can teach anything!" Applebloom says
  1306.
1307. >Twilight blushes before putting away her glasses
  1308.
1309. "Oh, um, Twilight, please have a seat" you motion towards the empty space next to you
  1310.
1311. >"Why thank you" she says
  1312.
1313. >Twilight places her hand on your shoulder before taking the seat next to yours
1314. >She pulls a package out of her satchel
  1315. >It's Sandwich Prince package
1316. >Her lunch is Sandwich prince
  1317. >Smells delcious
1318. >Twilight immediately begins to scarf the food down
1319. >Jesus this girl has an appetite
  1320. >She begins eating vigorously
  1321. >It's pretty impressive
1322. >Twilight notices you gawking at her
1323. >She wipes her face with a napkin
  1324.
1325. >"Oh, I'm sorry, that wasn't very ladylike of me" she apologizes
  1326.
1327. "No no, it's totally cool, I just never seen people enjoy food like you do" you say reassuringly
  1328.
1329. >Twilight smiles and begins to eat again
  1330.
1331. >"So feller, how was your first day so far?" Applebloom pipes up
  1332.
1333. >All of the girl's attention return back to you
  1334.
1335. "Well uh..Like you three already know, I met Applejack in my first period"
  1336.
  1337. >Twilight perks up
  1338.
1339. >"You met Applejack already? That's great!" Twilight says
  1340.
1341. >It is liberating to know all these people
1342. >It's all happening so fast
  1343. >You're not complaining though
1344. >It'd be great to go home and tell your parents that you've met new friends
  1345.
1346. "Yeah, she was very honest and nice, I'm also her partner for a project"
  1347.
1348. >"Are ya'll talking 'bout me?" a familiar southern voice speaks
  1349.
1350. >Applejack comes by with her lunch tray
  1351.
  1352. >"Howdy everyone!" greets Applejack
  1353.
1354. >Everyone exchanges greetings with Applejack
  1355.
1356. >"I see ya'll met my new partner for our fangled project" says AppleJack
  1357.
1358. >"It's such a coincidence that we all met the same person isn't it?" asked Twilight
  1359.
1360. "Or maybe it's a good thing" you say taking a bite of your taco
  1361.
1362. >They all look at you
1363. >They all exchange a smile with you
  1364. >This is good..isn't it?
  1365.
1366. >"I certainly can't wait for you to meet the rest of the gang" Twilight tells you
  1367.
  1368. >Rest of the gang?
1369. >She wants you to meet more of her friends?
1370. >This idea sits in your head on a fence
1371. >The more friends the merrier right?
1372. >Still though, you don't know how to deal with these friends, is it too early to gain more?
1373. >When in doubt, square up
  1374.
  1375. "I can't wait" you reply
  1376.
1377. >"Three of them are actually busy right now, but two others should be coming over any moment now" says Twilight
  1378.
  1379. >Jesus Christ
1380. >Twilight, Applejack, Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, Applebloom, AND five more!?
  1381. >It's a lottery for friendship
1382. >Still, it can also be a minefield
1383. >Despite how well things are going along with these new people, you don't really know a thing about them
1384. >Not to mention you met Fluttershy as well
1385. >You really don't want to look at a bad side of this, but you don't really know anything about these girls
1386. >Applejack is a southern girl who's struggling in her classes with a sister, but she could be a killer
1387. >Scootaloo was smitten by you sure, but she was probably thinking about skinning your face
  1388. >Wait a second!
  1389. >Now just calm down
  1390. >It's the paranoia speaking
1391. >These are graceful, innocent girls who want to befriend you
1392. >Not only that, they want to introduce you to more friends
  1393. >Oh geez
  1394. >Seriously, fuck social emotions
  1395. >You're extremely grateful
  1396. >Just a little nervous is all
1397. >In fact, every friend you made so far is a girl
1398. >Weird that you haven't made a single dude friend
  1399. >Now you're at a table full of them
  1400. >You're still not complaining
  1401. >It is odd though
1402. >The only guys you met so far were very unpleasant
1403. >Seriously, fuck that blue haired guy
  1404. >Fucking generic Sonic
1405. >Why does every school have a stock bully?
  1406. >This couldn't be more old fashioned
  1407. >Could be worse though
1408. >You take a sip of your soda to calm your nerves
1409. >Just gotta avoid that guy for the rest of the year
1410. >Maybe after school, you can go sight seeing
  1411.
1412. >"Oh hey Fluttershy" Twilight greeted
  1413.
  1414. >Fluttershy?
1415. >You turn your head to see Fluttershy sit down with her tray
1416. >She looks surprised to see you
1417. >You weren't expecting to see her so soon either
1418. >Don't be awkward, say hey
  1419.
1420. "Hey Fluttershy, fancy seeing you here"
  1421.
  1422. >Smooth as a dragon dildo
  1423.
1424. >"You met Fluttershy already? Wow, you work quick" Twilight pats your shoulder
  1425.
  1426. >Fluttershy blushes
  1427. >Everyone else greets her
  1428.
1429. "Yeah, we met in science"
  1430.
1431. >"S-sorry about your cheek" Fluttershy meekly says
  1432.
1433. >No one noticed it until now
1434. >The rest of the girls look to your face
  1435. >There's the feeling again
  1436.
1437. >"What in tarnation happened there? That sure wasn't on your face when I saw you this mornin'" Applejack speaks up
  1438.
  1439. >Twilight nods in agreement
1440. >"Yeah, what happened to you?"
  1441.
1442. >You try to brush it off
  1443.
1444. "Nothing, it was just a little bump"
  1445.
1446. >Cole Phelps would slap you
1447. >Don't thank the academy because you suck at acting
  1448.
1449. >"He said he got punched by some guy" Scootaloo pipes up
  1450.
  1451. >You shoot Scootaloo a small glare
1452. >She retreats behind her taco
1453. >Twilight examines your cheek further
  1454.
1455. >"He must have hit you pretty hard"
  1456.
  1457. >Good work detective
  1458.
1459. "Yeah, but Fluttershy wiped away most of the blood when it was gushing"
  1460.
1461. >"Wow, Nice work Flutters!" Sweetiebelle said to Fluttershy
  1462.
1463. >Fluttershy's face went completely red
  1464.
1465. >"I-it was nothing..r-really..was just trying to be...helpful" She was hiding behind her bangs
  1466.
1467. >"Do you know who did this?" Applejack asks
  1468.
1469. >Before you could answer, Applebloom spoke up
  1470.
1471. >"He said it was a guy with blue hair sis'"
  1472.
1473. >"Blue hair?" Twilight started "It couldn't be who we think it is could it?"
  1474.
  1475. >The pronoun game
  1476.
1477. >"That's what we were thinking!" Sweetiebelle said
  1478.
1479. >"Was he wearing a leather jacket by any chance?" Twilight asks you
  1480.
  1481. "Y-yeah..he was" you answer
  1482.
1483. >"UGH, I knew it" She replied frustrated
  1484.
  1485. "Um..who is 'he'"
  1486.
  1487. >Applejack answered
  1488.
  1489. > "Flash Sentry"
  1490.
  1491. "Flash Sentry?" you ask
  1492.
1493. >"Y-yeah...he's my ex" Twilight answers
  1494.
  1495. >Ex boyfriend huh
1496. >How fucking cliche can this get?
1497. >Your first day, you meet a beautiful girl, and you get socked by her ex boyfriend
  1498. >What's next? A ski competition? A karate tournament?
  1499.
1500. >"Listen..I'm sorry he hurt you, he's a real jerk"
  1501.
1502. >A stinging sensation returns to your cheek
1503. >It's been half a day yet it feels like a thousand years already passed by
  1504.
1505. "It's fine, if the bell didn't ring when it did, he probably would've did more"
  1506.
1507. >You try to shrug it all off with a light chuckle
1508. >Another sip of your soda for reassurance
  1509.
1510. >"It isn't fine, I don't know what I saw in him," she starts "He bullies every guy I talk to, and he's just- ugh"
  1511.
  1512. >This isn't your department
1513. >The closest to a relationship you had are dating simulators
  1514. >They don't turn out like this
1515. >You have to change the mood somehow
  1516.
1517. "Hey! He doesn't know I talk to you yet, I'm just gonna avoid him anyways"
  1518.
1519. >"What were you doing in the restroom that would've made him punch you?"
  1520.
  1521. >No need to ponder
  1522.
1523. "Nothing at all," you take another sip "He was bullying some kid and I didn't want to leave so he punched me"
  1524.
1525. >Twilight was obviously getting angry because of this
  1526.
  1527. >"Are ya'll thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Applejack asks
  1528.
1529. >The girls nod in agreement
1530. >You play along to not feel like the odd one out
  1531.
1532. >"We need to get back at him!" Twilight announces
  1533.
  1534. >Oh fuck
  1535. >Oh fuck no
  1536. >No no no
  1537. >Shit
1538. >If there's anything you know about drama, it's that in real life, this shit doesn't end well for the under dogs
1539. >The girls seems so willing though
1540. >Can you really talk them out of this
  1541. >Should you?
  1542.
1543. >"Well, if there's anyone else we need fer this, it's definitely Sunset Shimmer" Applejack says
  1544.
1545. >"Who needs me?" A cougary voice trails from nearby
  1546.
1547. >"Speak of the devil" Twilight says
  1548.
1549. >"That was only one time!" the girl says
  1550.
1551. >Sitting at the table with the rest of you now was a girl in leather
1552. >She had fiery hair, that for some reason, reminded you of bacon, but looked nothing like it
1553. >This girl looked laid back
  1554. >Like a biker chick
  1555. >Suddenly, Applebloom spoke up
  1556.
1557. >"We need yer thinkin' skills to help us get back at Flash!"
  1558.
1559. >"Flash? What's he done now?" Sunset asked
  1560.
1561. >"The question is, what hasn't that rascal done, we made us here a new friend, and Flash already gone and hit him" answered Applejack
  1562.
1563. >Sunset's attention diverted to you
1564. >She looked as if she took a moment to think
  1565.
  1566. >"Okay, I'm in"
  1567.
1568. >The rest of the girls cheered as the idea was being accepted
  1569. >Sunset spoke to you
  1570.
1571. >"Hi there, I'm Sunset Shimmer, I hope you haven't heard things about me yet"
  1572.
1573. >You wonder what that means
