PokeRedWar Mission 2:Abram gets a new friend

2013-10-22 20:20:47] <Falconis> You continue your treck back to Beijing, feet making loud SQELCHes in the muddy earth. The rain, which you suspect may have been supernatural, has long since stopped, though the night sky remains overcast. Low thunder occasionally breaks the monotony of the walk
[2013-10-22 20:22:06] <Abram> It's been a long night.  And a long day.  Abram's stomach growls every so often as he walks, hands in his pockets and Harrier on his shoulder.
[2013-10-22 20:22:15] <Falconis> It may have been the darkness, it may have been the pokemon's legendary stealth skills, but you walk right into a single spider web, just as an Spinarak was trying to move from tree to tree, avoiding the muddy ground.
[2013-10-22 20:22:32] <Falconis> The pokemon in question falls to the ground with a soft 'plip' when the web is broken
[2013-10-22 20:22:46] <Falconis> it chitters sadly

[2013-10-22 20:24:39] <Abram> Once free from the web, Abram kneels down the next to the spider, motioning to Harrier to stay back.
[2013-10-22 20:24:43] <Abram> "Sorry about that little guy."
[2013-10-22 20:25:46] <Falconis> The Spinarak flips over again and attempts to wipe the mud from it's back, it's markings seem quite sad
[2013-10-22 20:26:14] <Falconis> It Chitters in part annoyance, part 'its ok no harm done' in an impressive display of pokehumancommunication
[2013-10-22 20:26:25] <Falconis> or maybe Abram hit his head on the steps a bit too hard
[2013-10-22 20:26:39] * Abram uses a bit of his jacket to help clean the spider off.
[2013-10-22 20:28:20] <Abram> "Quite the storm, huh?  Seems like everything's a mess."
[2013-10-22 20:28:39] <Falconis> The pokemon accepts the gesture, a bit warily, but seems happier for it.
[2013-10-22 20:29:14] <Falconis> It follows your sight and does an multiple shoulder/elbowed shrug
[2013-10-22 20:30:04] <Abram> "Here, let me help you back up."  Abram offers an arm to the spider.
[2013-10-22 20:30:32] <Falconis> It looks at the arm and then hops on, gripping tightly with it's six legs
[2013-10-22 20:31:11] * Abram slowly walks over to the other tree, placing his hand against it.
[2013-10-22 20:31:18] <Abram> "There."
[2013-10-22 20:31:30] <Falconis> it climbs off and unto the tree, it chitters in thanks at you
[2013-10-22 20:32:31] <Abram> "No problem."  Abram looks at the spider for a moment.  "Say, wanna take a trip with me?  We could use the company."
[2013-10-22 20:33:01] <Falconis> The spider looks around at it's bleack surroundings, devoid of leaves, devoid of prey, and shrugs.
[2013-10-22 20:33:02] <Abram> Harrier has managed to contain himself, though he watches the bug intently.
[2013-10-22 20:33:20] <Abram> "I'll take that as a yes?"
[2013-10-22 20:33:21] <Falconis> He climbs back unto your arm and...sees Harrier
[2013-10-22 20:33:25] <Falconis> :I
[2013-10-22 20:33:42] <Abram> :(

[2013-10-22 20:34:07] <Falconis> IT'S A BIRD
[2013-10-22 20:34:29] <Abram> "We'll, uhh, discuss things later.  You need some rest anyway."  The bird is sucked back into its ball.  Finally.
[2013-10-22 20:35:13] <Falconis> The Spinarak calms down a bit as the phantom bird vanishes back to hell through it's evil magics
[2013-10-22 20:35:26] <Falconis> it will remain to protect you human, from the evil that are birds
[2013-10-22 20:37:01] <Abram> "Thanks.  Let's get going."  And so Abram continued walking, only now with a bug on his shoulder instead of a bird.
