The easiest thing to implant in someones head is an idea.
The most effective idea is a "reason for action".
The easiest way to control someone is to give them a "reason to live".

Overview #####
If you have no reason for living, and don't want to have one - you will cease to live.
If you have no personal reason for living, but want a reason - someone will happily provide one for you.
However, it will not be your reason, and you WILL be subject to it.

Have your OWN reason for living, or you can be controled.

Example 1 #####
A: "I don't know what to do with myself, life is boring. Why go on?"
B: "Well, there are so many needy people.  You could help them and be a *good* person (in my eyes).


A: "Well, I sure would like to be viewed as a *good* person...if only in your eyes."
B: "You'll feel so much better, and you'll have the sense of purpose you're lacking"

A: "Ok, sounds good to me.  What do I need to do?"
B: "Do *this* for those people now."

A: "Ok, I did it."
B: "Wow, you're such a good person!"

Synopsis #####
1. If "person A"s purpose in life is now to help "needy people", then "person A" is subject to both: "person B" (as the provider of acceptance), and the "needy people" (the means for the acceptance).
2. "A" must now rely on the existance of "B" and "needy people" in order to feel *fulfilled*.
