Touhou's Bizarre adventure Chapter Seven: The Inheritor

In the outskirts of a certain city of the outside world. Reimu Hakurei was standing on some strong metal threads with one leg in a focused position. She and her foster father, Keiser Zeppeli were in a ancient palace in Tibet, the palace home of the Hamon. In a flash, both of them had their hands glowing and got ready to call their attacks. 'Sunlight Yellow Overdrive!' In a quick span, they connected their karate chops to each other, canceling out each other. After they disconnected, they bowed to each other.

Inside the monastery, Reimu held on to her daughter in arms, rocking her as she slept. Keiser stood over the fire of the fireplace. 'You's trained well. Doing so all your life, you maybe ready to fight on' Keiser said. 'You done most intense training in keeping yourself from getting to injured' he continued. 'I want to do one more thing before I leave and fight the mask power' Reimu spoke. Keiser turned to Reimu, 'Hmmm?' unsure what she's getting at. 'You remember when you got me to train the Celestial Gate?' Keiser nodded his head.

'I wish to do this again. When I do, I will never return home, unless I accomplish this goal, if I return alive. But I need you do me this. If I have done your great grandfather's prophecy, then when will expect to die?' Reimu finished. Keiser thought for one moment. He raised her since childhood, made a family with her. He took his thoughts as he was told stories about the Zeppeli family that has done the same.

Keiser opened his eyes and held his hand out for Reimu to grabbed it. Reimu complied as she held his hand, and suddenly a Sendo shock wave spreed around the palace. Keiser closed his eyes and sees part of her future of where it will take place. 'It will take place in the Forbidden Village's chamber that brings out the odor of death. A child will open the way. Releasing a chained young lioness will help decide. Should you try to save her, it may cost you your life, or you may just as well watch as she dies with in the beast's hand. That may save yourself' Keiser explained to Reimu's near future.


                                                           FLASH BACK END

Reimu stood face to face with Kagerou the werewolf. With everyone else watching to see the fight ready to happen. Reimu gripped her fist and thought. 'I want to find the mask and destroy it. In doing so, will risk my life. I fated myself to this day ever since I listened to his story about his great grandfather. I can defy my own fate, or die trying. Either way, I'm not backing out' As she prepared herself, Nitori had a sad look on her face. 'Reimu Hakurei. Be careful, please' Nitori Kawashiro warned.

Reimu breathed as she powered her Hamon to getting ready to fight. 'Marisa! I'm here! I'll get you out of this!' Reimu stated as her aura glowed. Reimu walked on the steps as she tried to remembered what Keiser said. 'In releasing the lioness will cost me my life, but if I leave her, I'll continued to life, but it will leave the lioness to die in the beast's hands. I will find out if I will live or die'


As she went closer to Kagerou Imaizumi. The she-wolf got ready by showing off her claws and growled beastly. Marisa to get his collar. 'It's like I'm a dog on a leash. I wouldn't say the same for Kagerou. It's like she's used to it. Probably cause she's a wolf, since they resemble dogs. What worries me is how she's gonna to attack Reimu' Marisa wondered. Kagerou grinned darkly as she let Reimu step forward. 'Step Foward, Baka! Let's see if your Hamon or the Hakurei's divine powers can work on me!? You won't be able to hold a candle with me!' Kagerou finished as she started to give Reimu a swift slice, but Reimu quickly back flipped to dodging it.

The she-beast turned to see Reimu dodging her strike. 'What's the matter! Pissed your panties!?' Kagerou continued to attack the Hakurei with her, but she dodged the wolf's attacks by using back flips or grazing the claws. Reimu looked at the beast with a disappointing manner. Kagerou growled in anger. Nitori watched with grace. 'Keep it up Reimu!' Nitori said, then Kagerou went in and starting trotting towards Reimu to pounce at her, but the Shrine Maiden jumped in and went into a wall to get high above and started to spin and tried to make a air kick to Kagerou. 'Deal with this, Kagerou! Tornado Overdrive!' her attack echoed.

But the she-wolf grinned and suddenly made a mach jump above Reimu, making her face go awe in shock, along with everyone else. 'No way!' Marisa ushered n disbelief. 'She's above me!' Reimu said. Suddenly she saw the chain coming to tighten her. Reimu saw what she was doing. "She's trying to trap me by using the chains on me, but too bad I'm not gonna let that happen!" Reimu's aura glowed as she suddenly vanished. Kagerou was in shock as she didn't expect that to happened.

Suddenly Reimu ran towards her friend to save Marisa. 'Reimu, what are you doing?!' Marisa asked. 'Saving your life!' Reimu responded. The maiden jumped up and pulled the chains connected to Marisa's collar to break it. Reimu had trouble to break it, so she formed her hand into a karate chop to break the chain as her rainbow aura glowed. 'Hamon Sendo Fantasy Seal!' Reimu used her power to cut the chain in one blow, breaking the chain. Marisa fell to the ground, getting ready to pass out.

As Reimu landed on the neck of time, the Shrine Maiden didn't have time react as Kagerou was behind her, and suddenly. 'Guahhh!' the she wolf cut Reimu in two, making Reimu's upper half and lower half fall. Nitori had tears in her eyes 'Reimu!!!!!!!!' the Kappa screamed from seeing the descendant of the Hakurei Gods, killed by a beast. "Should you try to save her, it may cost you your life" Reimu reflected. 'T..TouHou....' Reimu spoke weakly.

As Reimu's upper half hit the ground, Kagerou took witness, using the same tactic twice after Killing Keine Kamishirasawa. The werewolf howled in victory. 'Mistress Sakuya, I have only managed to exterminated the Hakurei as you requested, but I'll finish off the Kirisame' Kagerou said to the sky. Nitori was sobbing in tears as she watched Reimu die. 'Why! Why did she have to die to tragically!' Nitori called to the heavens.

Kagerou saw Marisa twitching in show that she's still alive. 'I'll end you soon, Kirisame' the beast smiled with evil. However, Reimu's hand somehow went to Marisa hand on it's own. 'Still alive!' Kagerou said in disbelief. As Reimu got to Marisa, even with her upper half in two, she was trying to use the last of her strength to get to her. 'M....Ma....Marisa. I.....I....I will not die in vein. My power, my Hamon, my ancestor's powers..... ARE NOW YOUR!!!!' As Reimu's rainbow aura glowed, she called to her last magic. 'Ultimate Deep Past Overdrive!!!' Reimu's powers were getting fed to Marisa, as the flow in Reimu caused her pony tail to snapped to her long hair. Marisa's body was sparking as she screamed with her life coming back. Nitori gasped in shocked to seeing what's happening

Then in a red flash it ended with Reimu's face and hair turning all white as a ghost. Reimu breathed her final breath to make a faint laugh 'TouHou, I've passed my life energy to you' Reimu said her words before she went to unconsciousness. Nitori looked down to Reimu's dying corpse in tears. '*sniff* Re..Reimu' Nitori cried. 'Reimu Hakurei!!!!' the kappa screamed in despair. Kagerou walked like her feet were made into heal to make a clap sound on the ground. 'You call yourself a Hakurei!? You weren't even worth to be called a opponent to fight! I'll finish you by turning you to mush!!' Kagerou screamed as she was about to smash Reimu's mutilated corpse, but then she was suddenly pulled up to the ceiling, meaning someone was pulling the chain.

Nitori turned to see who that was. It was Marisa, back in action to finish the job and avenge Reimu's death, staring at Kagerou with a angry face. Marisa got up as she glowed with Reimu's rainbow aura. 'Marisa must of pulled Kagerou off the earth' Nitori stated. 'Reimu gave TouHou her powers to combine with her own!' Marisa was pulling the collar with all her might. Kagerou laughed at Marisa's attempt to do so. 'You spineless weakling! You think you can pull that collar off of you?! Even I can't pull it off with Mistress Sakuya's power, given to me!' Kagerou stated.

But soon she was proven wrong that the collar was bending, then breaking as Marisa started to grow muscles. 'You bitch! I'll make you suffer!!' Marisa screamed as she broke the collar apart. It shocked Kagerou, not believing what she saw. Kagerou fell to the ground as she looked in fear at Marisa. She had no muscles anymore. 'You are a heartless monster! twisted into a beast of evilness. Filled with madness that must be destroyed' Marisa quoted to Kagerou. The she-wolf had enough of hear this, as she grabbed parts of the chain to grab or bash Marisa with. As she looked inside of Kagerou. "But inside, you never wanted to give yourself to Sakuya. She forced you to become like this. I will free you, like I did with Keine" Marisa had thought.

Marisa grabbed at Kagerou's arm and gripped it, causing it to shatter her arm muscles and bones. She screamed from such pain. 'Whao! That's so amazing! Reimu's power and the ancestors of the Hakurei made her even stronger than before! It's now part of her!' Nitori said completely baffled. "Kagerou, I will save you from the evil taking over you" Marisa said in her thoughts. The she-beast growled in anger as she got her other good hand ready. 'Bring it beast! I won't let any evil remain!' Marisa screamed. 'I'll burn you to ashes!' Kagerou screamed as she shot her red claw nails at Marisa, but they deflected from Marisa's face.

Marisa pulled her hakkero box and charged it's power. As Kagerou got up to strike at Marisa, she went in to finish this. 'Hamon Sendo Master Spark!!!!!' the attack echoed as she fired the radiated rainbow at Kagerou. She screamed in pain as she burned from the Hamon's energy. She laid on the before hitting the ground and suddenly her wolf eats disappeared, while her body turned back to normal, but it did burned her clothes off. Marisa looked at the now human Kagerou, now freed from Sakuya's power.


'Reimu! Reimu!' Reimu opened her eyes to see Marisa, Nitori and Tomoko all together. 'Reimu, why?' Marisa called to her wit tears. Marisa held on to Reimu's mutilated upper half. 'Why did you sacrifice yourself for me?!' Marisa yelled. 'We can we do without you?' she cried. Reimu used her good hand and slapped her. Even if mutilated, she still has strength. 'Marisa! Stop fooling yourself! I knew I had to give myself to save you. We Hakureis have honor. I would never leave you to die' Reimu quoted. 'When I heard my master talked about his great grandfather dying into the same position I was in, I fated myself. I choose my other option. But I never leave empty handed. I was raised by my master, taught by my master and had a child by my master. Now it's been fulfilled. With you, I can live on. My soul will be transferred to my born child' Reimu then grabbed Marisa's hand, as she cried at her dying friend. Tomoko didn't want to watch as she forced herself to Nitori, while the kappa held on to her. 'I will live on. My dying spell is Reviving Fantasy. If you have a conceived child, you can use this magic to transfer your soul to your offspring so you can still be alive. It's funny, when I look at you, you're more than a friend. You're like a sister to me. Maybe I'll see you again as a older woman, or possibly in to your own child's body' As Reimu's grip fainted. 'Go on and defect Sakuya. Defect her and destroy the mask for the grater good. Good......Bye' Reimu finished as she passed out and faded to blackness. Marisa gasped as Reimu died completely. What was worse, her entire body turned to dust, leaving only her clothes. Marisa sniffed and sobbed in complete sadness. 'REEEIIIMUUUUUUUUU!' she screamed as suddenly Reimu's soul looked up to see her parents again, but she did not join them. She hovered to the back to the Hakureo Shrine to see her baby again. And there, she went into her daughter. In a sudden, Reimu Hakurei the Second started crying as if something woken her up from her slumber. Keiser Zeppeli walked to her crying daughter and held her dearly. 'So it happened. She has fulfilled the my great grandfather's prophecy' Keiser said as he had tears in his eyes, but stopped. 'We must leave now. Warn the others to take her back to take my daughter somewhere safe' he asked. The shadowy figure stood up and held her. 'I will' the voice of a female said.

There have been a Japanese saying. Cranes live 1,000 years and turtles live 10,000 years. This was the way of the Hakurei's way of living. As long as a bloodline lives, there may still be hope. Marisa placed her body along with Keine's head and body with her and set it on fire, not wanting to leave a corpse to rot. So TouHou took up her friend and mentor's quest and spirit. She had three people important in her life. Her mother, Mima Kirisame, Keine Kamishirasawa and Reimu Hakurei. She was glad Brolli Diamondback was not here to see this, let alone be involved in all of this. 'Farewell, Reimu Hakurei' Marisa said to the skies.


Inside of the hidden castle, there was a family. A father with his daughter. 'Please, let us go' said the scared father. Next to them as she sits on the throne, holding a holy Japanese hand drum and crushed it to dust. It was none other than Sakuya Izayoi. 'I'm afraid that won't do. I will need one of you. Should you refuse, then I'm afraid I will have to kill you two' Sakuya said gentle but cruelly. 'I'll make you a deal. One of you will give us your life, while the other leaves. But be sure you make the right words, cause if spoken correctly, will lead to your death' Sakuya said, making it clear.

The two looked around scared as they saw evil youkais and onis everywhere. 'I'll offer myself to you' the teenage child said. The father was shocked to hear his daughter said that. 'You can't, Mana. Think about what you're doing! Your life's more important than mine, let me take this offer!' the old man begged. 'I'm afraid you're to late. She had made your choice' The cruel vampire mistress said as she got out her throne. Mana stood up while the old man could do nothing but watch. 'Ma..Mana!' the old man cried.

Sakuya walked up to Mana as she teared from looking at the monster. '*sniff* Just don't hurt my father' she begged. Sakuya walked up to Mana. 'Very well, only because I don't want to show a tear myself, so I and my servant won't lay a hand on your father. But I must let you know, your father would of save you from me. Most of my servants were once human, while the others are youkais. The formal humans were scared to serve me, so they gave me no other choice but to turn them into what I am now. As for the youkais, when I gave them my howl to them, they see me as their proper mistress, so they all bow to me willing. You could allow your father to join too, that way, there won't be any reason to have this grief of who's losing who' Sakuya quoted to them

But Mana didn't want anything to do with him, for he is the messenger to the Human Village, so she knows that she has to sacrifice herself for the greater good. 'Just let don't anything to my father!' Mana again begged. The old man cried, knowing for what she is doing for him to help, but he just wanted to let his daughter to come first, before the Human Village. 'Just my father' she sobbed. 'Now now, I said we won't lay a hand on your father' Sakuya signed.

The old man wanted to do something to help his daughter, but he was to late. He watched as Sakuya seductively held on to Mana and sank her fangs to drinking Mana's blood. As the old man tried to walk away, not wanting to see anymore of this. But he knew her daughter had done the right thing to warn the human that the war between humans and evil youkais return, but alone with the good youkais, they can help for the balance of good. However, he was tackled by some random youkai. He was frighten. As he look closely at the youkai, he realized that that was his daughter Mana. 'M..M..Mana!' he called to her. Mana has the face of a youkai. She has cat ears and a evil grin on her face, ready to sank her fangs on her human father. 'I want your flesh, Father!' She shrieked as she started to eat him alive.

He screamed in agony as it was all for nothing after all. 'I gave you my word that I won't hurt your father, but you didn't make it clear on how we should let him live, so instead you will kill him for us' Sakuya said as she walked away. She let some, but not one walk out alive for those who refuses to join her.


As Marisa and the others were heading out to check on the human village to see if it's still in good condition. As they were walking about, Nitori was a expression on her face. "Her expression is dark. After seeing all this, she's changed. So have I. We can't mourn on the face of Reimu, until Sakuya is vanquished" As Nitori said to herself. Nitori turned to Marisa to answer her. 'Marisa, Sakuya said she to take over the Human Village in one night' She pointed this far to the village. 'Youkais and onis will breed the humans of their life to them to preserved their species by force. They'll breed like animals to make it faster. What is happening down there?' Nitori quoted

 Tomoko saw one of the hunan villagers, she knew has Selena. 'Mrs,Selene!' she ran to her to ask her. Selena saw Tomoko with confused look. 'Mrs.Selena, is Oni-San still alright? Is my big brother Kuji okey!?' she begged for an answer.

Selena had a dark shadow in her face, and suddenly she did have a answer to tell her. 'Is your Kuji okey?' she said it like it was tragedy. And then, suddenly she punched her in the head, making a anime bump appear on her head. 'He's insane! Kuji's been going on a rampage looking for you! Hes been starting fight! Going to a bar to get drunk and was making trouble with the police nobles! But the time he finds you, he's gonna make you into a punching bag to relieve himself of his stress!' Selena warned Tomoko about her brother.

The others were confused and frighten to what Selena was talking about. 'I'm guessing the village is safe' Marisa stated. 'Let's continue' Nitori reminded. As all were heading back to the path.'Thank you, Mrs.Selena' Tomoko  complied. As they all left, they didn't realize that she started to show off a extending a tongue, and make a dark creepy smile. 'Child. I always wanted a human child. They are more tasty than adults!' as she tried to use her tongue to snatch her, but suddenly, Maris grabbed her tongue.

Selena was revealed to have a youkai hunger for humans. and gave out a "Ribbit!" it sounded monstrous. 'She's been turned into a frog youkai. Selena the frog youkai leaped up the air to attack them on ground. 'You won't dodge me from this speed!' she said, but Marisa punched her in the face where she stood, knocking to the ground. Marisa didn't want to kill her, so she knocked her out cold by kicking her face. 'It seems like we're too late.' Marisa stated. 'You're right to say that' Marisa turned around to see who did say who is was. It was a youkai withyellow eyes, short blonde hair and wears a light pink two-tailed hat with many amulets. She has fox ears hidden under her hat, has nine fox tails and wears a blue & light purple dress with a blue print on the front. hiding h'er arms under her sleeves, showing a glimmer in her left eye.

Nitori cringe as she saw another one. 'Another dark youkai!' Nitori quoted. The fox youkai got closer. 'I am Ran' she introduced herself. Marisa got on her fighting stance as she got ready to fight. As Ran stopped, she jumped with grace and got ready to do a air kick to land on Marisa like a Chinese old martial artist. She notice for some reason it was slow. 'A slow moving position, but why?' Marisa wondered.

Ran was getting real close, so Marisa prepared herself for this. In a flash, Marisa caught her feet, but Ran forced herself for Marisa to extend her legs. It caught Marisa by surprise. Ran unfolded her arms out of her sleeves. 'Take this! Thunder Split Attack!' The fox youkai called to her attack, but Marisa blocked it with her feet, giving her a chance to use her laser eyes on Ran, making her bounce back, 'Guhaa!' After she hit the ground. She got up amazed how quick she is. 'She's incredible for a human!' Ran said stunned. Marisa got back to her fight stance to continue.

But Ran pulled her hand out to stop. "Those are tactics that only a human would think of" she thought to herself. 'Marisa Kirisame, wait! I'm a friendly youkai' She warned. Marisa, Nitori and Tomoko were confused to what happened. 'Sorry about that. I just wanted to see how well Mrs.Hakurei trained you' Ran said. Marisa was awe struck from what Ran said. 'Did you say, Hakurei?' Marisa asked. Ran walked to her with her arms back on her sleeves. 'Yes. I was her babysitter for when ever her foster left to take care of some business. He even trained me so I can help with her life's training' Ran explained. 'She's right' A familiar to said.

Out of the Shadow was Keine, in her human state. Marisa and the others were surprised. 'She's still alive?!' Marisa said in shock. 'Bow how?! We saw Kagerou killed you' Nitori explained back when she saw it themself. Keine nodded in disagree. 'What you saw was only my double. I needed to send my double to infiltrate Sakuya's castle. It worked, and now we know where she is' Keine explained. After what she said, Marisa cried from after seeing her again. She ran to her and hugged her. Keine could tell how Marisa was feeling. Suddenly they heard. 'Keine!!' They turned to see what Kagerou in her clothes again, as she ran. She too held on to her. '*sniff* I thought I could never see you again, after killing you heartlessly. I followed them after they told me what I was like. I was so ashamed after hearing about killing you and Marisa's friend' Kagerou said in a sad and kind manner.

'It's not you that you killed her. It was Sakuya's power that twisted you' Keine said as she got Marisa to move. 'Now we can move on' Keine added. As that was over, a man in his 40s came close by to meet with them. A man in a Hakurei Priest uniform showed himself. 'This is the man that raised Reimu. Keiser Zeppeli' Ran pointed. Keiser breathed in air. 'Please to meet you all' Keiser greeted himself. 'You're Reimu's foster father and master. Keiser Zeppeli' Marisa answered to him. She bowed to him.

Keiser liked how she showed respect him him. Then he sensed the rainbow aura that belonged to Reimu. 'It's a custom to bow to meet where the original master from. Where he came from, shaking hands is not valid. But I wish yo shake your hand, ma.am' Keiser stated as he showed his hand to Marisa. So she did to try to be more polite to him. 'Where is Reimu?' he asked. How ever when the white moon turned into a red moon. 'I'm sad to hear she died' Marisa was surprised to see he took it well. 'I should of never told her to never take the same role my great grandfather took. I always feared she would do so. I always hoped that she would escape that fate. She had her own fate to decide. But I guess she has made that choose. I cried ever since she had those thoughts. My family has been killed doing the same' Keiser explained

Keiser looked up to the red moon. 'But this Sakuya has powers so overwhelming, it almost rivals that power, or better yet, surpassed that old power my great grandfather fought.' He finished, making everyone else gasp. He turned to show everyone the castle she lives in. 'Her might has powers far beyond our imagination' Keiser added. As they all took a look on the castle.

Inside the castle, she had youkai cats holding her, feeling bliss with such power and pleasure. 'I have everything now. If I knew who my father was, he probably be proud of me. All I had to do was take over the human village in a single night' Sakuya quoted in her win. Then she turned to see a big man looking all board while chained around his leg, showing a expression with a unpleased look. It was Kuji, staring at Sakuya with no form of care. What happens next will decide the fate of all.
