If hit Theo or Ron only and have a Spark left, kill Red Gyarados and switch to high exp route. If hit 2 spinners, or just dennis, switch to high exp route.

After Goldenrod:
If hit Paulo, switch to high exp. If 53 before Victory Road Rival, switch to high exp. If hit any spinner in Kanto, switch to high exp.


Low exp route:
Buy Thunder and 3 X Acc in Goldenrod shopping trip 2.
Use candies from 48 --> 50 after first trainer in Clairs gym
Use candies from 54 --> 58 before Koga
Fly to Saffron and Bike to Lavendar after Power Plant

High exp route:

No Thunder.
Use candies from 51/53 --> 56 before Victory Road Rival
Use last candy from 60 --> 61 after you arrive in Kanto
Before using that candy, use a Max Repel.
