background: jia was born in tianjin, china, and is the only child of incredibly successful fashion designer elena rossi (who often brought her back some souvenirs from all the places she would visit) and a the ceo of CH conglomerate group (a highly established corporation that handles schools and hospitals). you could say that she lived life with a golden spoon, growing up with pretty much anything handed to her on a silver plate. except she had quite the strict upbringing, with her parents (father, mostly) wanting her to be the typical business heiress of one of the biggest corporations in china. her mother was a bit more relaxed about things, but that was mostly because the woman barely had time to scold her about anything, seeing as she had to come up with line after line of clothing. but it wasn't a sob story, really, her father still let her develop her own interests (music to be specific), so long as she remembers that, at the end of the day, she's the heiress of a large company. jia didn't many close friends as she grew up, but she did have a small close circle of them. the two friends were basically the only people she could rant to about how done she was with the pressure on her shoulders that was only getting heavier as she got older. when she turned fifteen, her father had announced that they were going to move to korea since he was planning on opening a branch in the country. so they did, and as the years passed and jia slowly lost contact with her friends, she found herself turning to music more than she did in her birthplace. faced with a bit of culture shock and the language barrier (that thankfully only took a year to break), jia was relieved when she was finally out of the suffocation atmosphere of school and was accepted into seoul universityㅡ with a business major, as per her father's request. but jia didn't like the feeling of not being able to perform, or sing & dance, so she was also able to convince her dad to hook her up with a job with one of CH conglomerate's potential prospect.

brief personality: despite being kind of shy at first when meeting new people, he's quite the charismatic person. beautiful and alluring, he catches a person's eye as well as their interest with the stories he tells. kind of a chatterbox and makes too many jokes that seem to make either everyone or absolutely no one in the room laugh, he's refreshing to be around. there is never a dull moment with him around. he's also a gentleman (on most days, anyway). he explodes confidence which might rub on you the wrong way at first but.. with that face you can't really blame him. has the tendency to be touchy/clingy towards others, especially if he feels close with you.

her first impression of him: good at singing and dancing, but he definitely fooled around too much for jia's liking. she remembered her father's deal with her, though: she only got to stay in this gig as long as she doesn't cause too many problems. at first glance, jia only thought that he was some pretty face, and was definitely not expecting the talent that burst forth from his lips during their rehearsal. although, the amount of times that he made mistakes had her frustrated to no end. still, she just puts on a smile until her shift was over.

his first impression of you: wow, this girl's really pretty. and nice. he's surprised at how patient his mentor is, or maybe it was because he had accidentally saved her from a wall a few minutes before when she almost walked right into it because she was zoned out. either way, he's very relieved about it.

how does she act around him: wow, isn't she just a barbie doll? with the fake ass smile she puts on everyday, someone would think she genuinely did not mind that he was hyperactive most of the time. jia acts as if she doesn't mind the whole hyperactive (kinda clumsy) thing he's got going on. though she sometimes does forget to keep her snarkiness to herself and lets some of it slip out of her mouth. as they begin to work together a bit more, jia becomes a bit more comfortable to be her usual snarky self around him as she is with other close friends instead of the barbie version of herself. she grows fond of his company, and is quite happy (maybe too happy) about how his charms have worked on her to open up... just slightly. a recurring theme: "i'm only forgiving you cause you're hot!"

how does he act around her: he's super kind and friendly! all the way through he's kind of like an active ball of fluff that follows her around like a lost puppy until he gets the hang of the layout of the place and how everything works at the park. though he does get caught off-guard by her suddenly snapping at him sometimes, and sometimes it does hurt his pride a bit. but, as time goes, he notices that the snark seems to be just part of who jia is, so he tries to adjust himself to it (but ends up sassing her right back sigh). they do grow closer, though, maybe more than these two think. he': also his touchy, clingy self.

relationship: hot-n-cold > friendos... for the most part > best friends !! with super romantic(?) tension....? maybe?

do they work well together?

  • surprisingly, these two do work extremely well on stage together. he's an amazing performer and also is she, and a lot of people get a kick out of glares and looks that seem to be part of a script. of course, behind the scenes they usually bicker, but that's only at first. as their days go by, they seem to just get used to it and not mind as much. as long as they put on a good show, yeah?

  • [BACKUP] god these two are like hellfire. with her business-like persona and his tendency to want to goof around, they're like fire (him) and ice (her). his sass and her snark cause quite the scene whenever they walk around, and the other employees laugh while the customers wonder why the manager seems to be too frustrated to bother with her mischievous trainee. but, as fire does with ice, he slowly melts away the cold and has her loosening up.
