  1. Anti-armor attacks are as follows, since that's the biggest thing to worry about when making traps:
  2. -Forward Smash (Bowling Ball): has underwhelming range for a forward smash as well as startup problems, but this thing hits like a truck, even being able to kill LINK outright below 100%, while dealing 20% as well.
  3. -Up Smash (Fireworks Cannon): the attack shadow is considerable, but this thing still works nicely for anti-air.
  4. -Grab (Bug Net): startup issue and considerable shadow, but tossing that pesky armor knocking on your door away from you can really help. None of the throws kill (at least not at a decent percent), but the momentum can really help.
  5. -Side B (Lloid Missile): only covers against reach in melee, because the startup has problems and there's considerable attack shadow, but the missile is both big and durable, allowing for useful mobile defilade. Not only that, you can ride it if you hold B when using this thing, which allows for mobility and added power capable of KO, as long as you're okay with becoming Helpless when you get off.
  6.
  7. By the way, Pocket (Neutral B) seems to provide invincibility frames, since Villager flashes like he does when he uses it.
  8.
  9. Character talk:
  10. -Pikachu: yeah, don't use anti-armor attacks for this guy. Just use things like the slingshot (the horizontal airs) to keep him hammered. The Lloid Missile can really help in keeping that bloody Forward Smash off of you as well.
  11.
  12. -Mario: ho boy, you think Pikachu is annoying? Mario has the Cape, again causing problems by reflecting attacks, including THE FREAKING BOWLING BALL. Villager's melee is unfortunately sub-par. You're going to have to get creative if you want to punch through all the problems involved.
  13.
  14. -Link: when I say later on that I cheat against Link, that's a bit of a stretch, because I don't break any rules here, but honestly, I don't find KOing a good Link player below 40% a realistic expectation. The AI sucks for not knowing how to properly guard against edgeguarding, and I suck for not managing anti-armor well like I should.
  15.
  16. -Mega Man: I think this matchup is practically a maneuver war between snipers. One the AI wouldn't get. Because I'm pretty sure Rock falls apart against rushes.
  17.
  18. -Villager: I don't have the hang of these new characters, but if I'm completing the challenge with them, especially when it ends up showing off how to use their moves properly, I'm satisfied. Hopefully, it adds creativity that doesn't shortchange the counter play.
