Plot Summary (WIP)

Plot Summary:
Percival Williams is an awkward asocial teenager with a passionate interest in Pokémon and the ability to communicate with them. His only real relationships are with his direct family and his “Poké-friends”.
Since he turned 15 he’s finally eligible to get his official Pokémon Trainer License and challenge the Gyms of the Aztlan region in hopes of becoming a Professional Trainer and finding what he wants to do in his life.

While undertaking the multiple-part exam to get his license he meets the first members of his Pokémon team. Mimikyu is an undyingly loyal Pokémon who would do anything for his “Master“, Houndour serious and rough with an initial dislike of human who is just starting to trust his “Partner”, Whismur a young and cheery infant with incredible battling prowess who sees Percy and her teammates as “Family” and  Abra, one of Percy’s oldest Pokémon friends who are curious about human behavior also decides to travel with him as a companion.
He also explores some abandoned labs where “White Veil pharmaceutical” performed inhuman experiments in Pokémon. Here he encounters Vulpix a playful troublemaker who wants to see the region with her “Trainer”.

Percy starts to make some human friends, rivals, and enemies. Kali Orizaba, a manipulative girl with a secret who has taken a dislike to him, Dick Blackstone an obscenely rich boy with some ego problem, and Eli Matthews a competitive reformed delinquent who seems to have become fast friends with Percival deciding to travel together.

After finishing the exam to get his license and getting first place in a rookie trainer tournament, making a name for himself as “The Arsonist” after a little incident with his Houndour, Percy challenges the Steel Gym of his natal city “North Pass” and obtains his first badge.

He also meets Aleida, a girl with the same ability to understand Pokémon who wants to become friends with Percy and seems to be involved with an armed revolutionary group from the Southern part of Aztlan.
Later he encounters Victoria, a powerful and unstable young psychic girl who almost kills him and ends up making a connection to Vulpix’s mind and then moves onto Percy’s head.

The same night he manages to aid the “Yellow King” a gigantic Electrive who rules over an abandoned factory and all of his inhabitants, who is currently being attacked by Maximillian Blackstone pro-trainer, complete asshole, and inheritor of the Blackstone fortune.  After managing to stop Maximillian the Yellow King impressed by Percy gives him one of his eggs so he can raise it into a proper ruler.
Finally, Percy and Eli make their way to Ibarra Village where the Ground Gym is located, in their travels, they traverse the unforgiving “Whistling Desert” where they face off against a giant man-eating Hippodown and met Gareth a 20-something college dropout who joins them in their travels. After some troubles, they finally arrive at the village and Percy’s egg hatches into Prince the Elekid who seems to get along with humans but is shy and nervous around other Pokémon he’s also able to understand and talk to humans.
Percy learns of a dangerous and violent trainer going by “The Arsonist” who looks really similar to him, then he explores some old ruins and gets his arm broken by an angry Tyrannitar after Victoria the psychic takes over his mind and tries to dissect a Larvitar using her psychic powers. Also, he meets a group of ancient Golett and Golurk living inside the ruins and a Bounty Hunter who seems to be looking for “The Arsonist”

Then he meets Dr. Henry Ford, Archeologist, and Gym leader, Percy manages to get his second badge and ends up promising to help the Archeologist translate old information from the Golett and Golurks, also he learns that the giant Pokémon he has been encountering are referred to as Behemoths and played an important part in an ancient war that took places on ages long past.
Percy also decides to try and help Victoria who he thinks deserves another chance and who is currently locked up in one of  "White Veil" facilities, he talks to her during his sleep and slowly starts to make progress with the girl.
After starting to realize he is feeling something for Eli, Percy and company move to Madeleine town where Percy spends most of his childhood and after a traumatic event involving a Rattata and a shotgun, Percy stopped talking to other humans for a long time and became obsessed with Pokémon.

Here Percy meets various new people, the real “Arsonist” an unstable youth who seems to have a few screws loose, Professor Maple a Pokémon professor running a small lab, then he gets absolutely decimated by some genetically modified Raticate led by Dr. Orizaba a cold, unfeeling scientist who seems to be involved with Victoria and works for White Veil.
Also, he reunites with Jeanne Arclight an insecure girl who tried to befriend Percy during his childhood and who stills cares a great lot for him. There’s an incident where one of the armed revolutionary leaders engages in battle against Percy and the Arsonist who barely manage to win but the victory soon turns sour as The Arsonist kidnaps Jeanne and Victoria is hurt from trying to use her psychic powers to help Percy.

After one particularly cute and traumatic dream, Victoria opens up to Percy and sheds more light on her situation making Percy more determined to help her.

Percy’s group moves to Adage Village where the Grass Gym is located but Percy and Vulpix end up being snatched up by a Yanmega who pretends to offer them as “tribute/food” for their “Queen”, Percy convinces the Yanmega to let him talk to the Queen and solve the situation, here he meets Kali again who warns Percy that he might not be able to solve this on his own.

The giant Behemoth Vespiqueen who calls herself the “Queen of Insects” is a tyrannical ruler with seemingly megalomaniacal tendencies who demands an absurd amount of food from the other Pokémon whom she executes and eats if they fail to meet their quota. The Pokémon cannot resist because they are subjugated by the pheromones the Queen produces, being able to control even trainers who went into the marsh to capture the Queen after she killed various kids and trainers who ventured into their territory.

Percy ends up convincing the Gym Leader of the village to call off a raid planned to capture the Queen hoping to solve everything, but his plans end up falling short when the Queen of Insects reveals that she plans to invade Adage Village and subjugate the population with her pheromones to use them as slaves and eat the rest. With only one month to prepare for the Queen’s attack on Adage Village Percy starts to plan what to do next.

While battling some angry villager who wanted to know why the raid was called off Percy and Eli ended up wrecking the outside of the Gym and getting temporarily banned from it by the Gym Leader who was notified, she would be fired from her position of Gym Leader because she called off the raid thanks to Percival’s actions.

After the shitshow at Adage Village, Percy's group moves to Lacrimosa Bay, a touristic destination and home to the Water Gym. Here our Pokémaniac discovers that a group of armed trainers hired by Blackstone corporation is looking for information regarding the Behemoths and White Veil, and they are led by his paternal grandfather who is a cynical asshole with a distaste for Percy and a retired pro trainer. He manages to secure some important documents and learns more about the Behemoths and the experiments of White Veil labs.
He also helps the Pokémon living in a coastal cave from Elite 4 Keisuke Hanma by leaving him paralyzed and dropping him off the road, he made a truce with Kali to help each other deal with the Behemoths.

Also goes on a date with Eli that suddenly goes south after the Arsonist attacks, he manages to stop him and his newly formed criminal team with help of his friends and rescue Jeanne. Afterwards he manages to get Jeanne to convince the remainders of the Arsonist Team to help him deal with the Behemoth Vespiqueen. Then, a stressed-out Percival plans for a day of relaxation at the beach where he finally declares his feeling for Eli, and both start sort of going out. Then he ends up straining his relationship with a drunk and emotionally unstable Jeanne. As a sudden freezing storm hits Lacrimosa Bay, Percy goes to challenge the Water Gym before leaving the beach.
