[11:27] * Keiru flails, "Don't kill me!"

[11:28] * Doc stashes Keiru in the TARDIS.
[11:28] * Keiru makes a statement, "It's bigger on the inside!"
[11:29] <Doc> "Oh? Funny, last pony said it was smaller on the outside. Huh."
[11:32] * Keiru shrugs, "That's true, too. Nice place though."
[11:33] <Doc> "Oh yes, she can get a bit, well, moody sometimes though."
[11:34] * Keiru tilts her head, "She?"
[11:35] * Doc runs a hoof over the console. "Oh yeah, the TARDIS. She's alive you know."
[11:36] <Keiru> "Like a biomagical device?
[11:36] * Doc raises an eyebrow. "No, she's /alive/, ain't yah girl?"
[11:38] * Keiru looks at Doc a bit strangely but looks about, "Well... hello there then, It's nice to meet you."
[11:39] * Doc tilts her fedora up, grinning. "Ah yes, what was your name again?"
[11:39] <Keiru> "Keiru Longcaster."
[11:40] <Doc> "Well Miss Longcaster, where do you want to go first?"
[11:40] <Keiru> "Where can you take us?"
[11:41] <Doc> "Anywhere, at anytime."
[11:41] * Doc grins.
[11:43] * Keiru thinks, "Wow... is it possible to meet yourself without causing a paradox with this thing?"
[11:44] <Doc> "Well... I can't go back on a personal timeline, it's against the rules."
[11:45] * Keiru frowns, "That sucks. Then how about we go back to before the war?"
[11:47] * Doc nods. "I can do that! Hold on Miss Longcaster! Allons-y!" She runs around the console, flipping lever, turning knobs, until the the shaft in the center began to oscolate up and down, whatever sound the TARDIS makes filling the room.
[11:49] * Keiru sits down, "Well, that's cool."
[11:49] * Doc twirls around. "Haha! We're heeere~. Let's have a look, shall we?"
[11:50] * Keiru blinks and stands, "That was fast."
[11:51] * Doc nods, gesturing to the door. "After you Miss Longcaster."
[11:51] * Keiru heads over to the door and opens it.
[11:56] <Doc> Beyond the door is the snow-covered streets of Canterlot, ponies hustling about, back and forth through the streets.
[11:56] <Doc> "Canterlot, Hearths Warming Eve. It's the year, ohhhh, I don't know, 10 ANM?"
[11:57] * Keiru blinks in awe, "I... wow.." She steps out onto the snow covered street.
[12:00] * Doc steps out after her. "Amazing, isn't it?"
[12:01] * Keiru nods, and plops down in the snow laughing, "Amazing!"
[12:06] * Doc giggles. "Oh yes, quite." She tosses Keiru a cloak from inside the TARDIS, the blue box tucked away in the opening of an alleyway. "Now come on, we can do a little shopping perhaps?"
[12:07] * Keiru nods and hops out of the snow, clasping the cloak around her, "Sounds like fun."
[12:12] * Doc nods. "Well then, let's be off Miss Longcaster. Allons-y!" She starts down off the street.
[12:14] * Keiru follows after Doc, "What do you have in mind?"
[12:15] <Doc> "Ohhh, just a little window browsing up on Main Street, come on!"
[12:17] * Keiru nods, "all right." She looks alongside of the street, at the buildings.
[12:20] * Doc hums to herself, looking at all the storefronts, which were all decorated up for Hearths Warming Eve, all of their wares on display.
[12:20] * Keiru keeps looking, "So. Why me?"
[12:21] * Doc stops in front of one in particualr, selling little plush toys of Luna and Celestia. "Well, you were just in the right place at the right time I suppose..."
[12:22] * Keiru giggles, "Those plushies are adorable. Right place, right time, eh?"
[12:23] * Doc nods, frowning slightly. "Yes... adorable... the foals would love them so-. Oh no..."
[12:23] * Keiru blinks, "Huh?"
[12:23] <Doc> "No no no no no no no!"
[12:24] * Keiru puts a hoof on his shoulder, "What? What?"
[12:24] * Doc whirls, grabbing a random pony as they walked pase. "What year is it?" The pony stammered, surprised. "Uhh... 15 ANM m-miss..." "Right, thanks."
[12:25] * Keiru is quite confused.
[12:26] * Doc looks at Keiru. "Miss Longcaster, 15 ANM, is the Second Invasion of the Changelings..."
[12:26] <Doc> ---CUE OPENING TITLE SEQUENCE---
[12:26] * Keiru tilts her head, "I only know of the first invasion."
[12:31] <Keiru> --Cue music-

[12:51] * Doc looks at Keiru. "That's because the second invasion, well, they kept it under wraps. We need to get to the palace, now."
[12:56] * Keiru nods, "Right." She bolts off towards the palace.
[12:59] <Doc> "Gah! Wait for me!"
[12:59] * Doc flies after her!
[01:01] * Keiru looks up, "You're the one who says 'Allons-y' aren't you? So... Allons-y!" She picks up the pace.
[01:01] <Doc> "You don't even know what it means! Gyah!"
[01:01] * Doc flies faster!
[01:04] * Keiru stops at the gate with the guards, "So?"
[01:06] * Doc lands next to Keiru, pulling out a seemingly black piece of paper, showing it to the guards. "The Doctor plus One, this is my plus One. We have an audience with the Princess in 5 minutes."
[01:06] <Doc> The guards look at each other, nod, and open the gate. "Right through here sir."
[01:06] * Keiru raises an eyebrow at Doc and walks in.
[01:07] * Doc grins, tapping the paper. "Phsycic paper, shows ponies what they want to see. Come on then!"
[01:11] * Keiru nods, "o-kay... magic, got it." She follows alongside Doc.
[01:17] * Doc nods, grinning. "This way!" She suddenly veers off the path, heading for what's seemingly a solid wall at the back of the palace.
[01:18] * Keiru blinks and follows, "You blind?? That's a wall!"
[01:18] <Doc> "Course not! It only looks like a wall, see?"
[01:19] <Keiru> "No!"
[01:19] * Doc pulls out her sonic screwdriver, running it along the wall. "Aaaaaand, here we go!"
[01:19] * Doc presses her hoof on one point of the wall, which promptly slides in, and then away, revealing a tunnel.
[01:20] * Keiru raises an eyebrow, "You're full of tricks." She steps into the tunnel.
[01:20] <Doc> "I know, lovely isn't it?"
[01:20] * Doc grins and enters the tunnel as well, the wall closing behind them.
[01:24] * Keiru shrugs, "not my taste."
[01:26] <Doc> "Bah! You'll get used to it."
[01:29] * Keiru starts down the passage, "Yeah, yeah."
[01:29] <Doc> "These tunnels were used in the last Changeling invasion 12 years ago, the drones that were already inside the city hid down here while the others pounded down the shield."
[01:30] <Keiru> "Really? I thought they just swarmed the outside."
[01:31] <Doc> "Nahh, Chrysalis hid down here, for, ohhh, 5 years I think?"
[01:32] <Keiru> "Wow, that's insane. I don't remember much of the first invasion. Why'd the cover the second?"
[01:42] <Doc> "Because, well, they took over the palace."
[01:48] * Keiru looks blankly at Doc, "You're serious."
[01:49] * Doc nods. "Yep! It's already happened, actually!"
[01:49] <Doc> "Brilliant creatures, these changelings. They're not from around here, you know."
[01:50] * Keiru blinks blankly, "What in tartarus... yeah, they're interersting and I could've guessed they weren't from around here. Any way to indentify them?"
[01:51] <Doc> "Well, considering they're in the foms of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, mmm, yep!"
[01:51] <Doc> forms*]
[01:52] <Doc> "Oh, and all of the guard are changeling drones too."
[01:52] <Doc> "An actual Royal Gaurd wouldn't have been tricked by my phsycic paper."
[01:53] <Keiru> "..."
[01:53] <Doc> "Brilliant, am I right?"
[01:54] <Keiru> "Terrifying."
[01:56] * Doc nods. "Eh, yeah, a little a suppose. Their planet, Laska, wasn't exactly kind to them."
[01:57] <Keiru> "At least the war calmed them down, mostly."
[01:59] <Doc> "Just for now. They're gathering strength every day, which is why we need to stop them, or the entire planet perishes."
[01:59] <Keiru> "Here, yeah. The palace isn't theirs anyway. Let's go."
[02:00] <Doc> "Well, I woudn't say that. We're probably the only non-changelings in this place right now. Regardless, this way!"
[02:01] * Doc trots off down a random side tunnel.
[02:01] * Keiru immediately follows him along, "Where are we headed?"
[02:02] <Doc> "To find their lair!"
[02:03] <Keiru> "Either the throne room or the dungeon would be likely."
[02:03] <Doc> "There's not many places big enough to hide an entire army beneath the Palace, but the Caverns are."
[02:04] <Keiru> "The caverns?"
[02:05] <Doc> "Oh yeah, it's where ol' Chryssi stuck Cadance last time."
[02:09] * Keiru nods, "Right, what are we going to do?"
[02:10] * Doc stops. "Weeeell, right now, run."
[02:10] * Keiru points in the direction their heading, "Towards or away?"
[02:11] <Doc> "Anywhere that's not behind us." A snarl comes from behind them.
[02:11] <Doc> "Running!"
[02:11] * Doc gallops off down another passage.
[02:14] * Keiru immediately follows Doc, "Fuuuu!!"
[02:15] <Doc> "This waaaaaayyyyeeeeeek!"
[02:15] * Keiru picks up her pace, still following, "Craaaaapppp!!!"
[02:15] * Doc suddenly disappears through the floor of the tunnel, as it collapses beneath her.
[02:16] * Keiru trips in after her, "Wahh!"
[02:17] * Doc starts to get up, only to have Keiru land on her. "Ooof!"
[02:17] <Doc> "Geoffme."
[02:19] * Keiru rolls off, "Grah. Excellent castle construction. Ergh!"
[02:20] <Doc> They find themselves in a larger room, surrounded by drones, with 10 more crawling out of the hole they just fell through.
[02:20] * Doc rolls to her hooves, brushing herself off. "Well, this is lovely!"
[02:21] * Keiru looks around, while standing, "... Great, just great..." She huffs.
[02:23] <Doc> "Well, looks like you've caught me, changelings. What're going to do, hmm? You feed off of emotions, love primarily, but if you know anything about me, it's that death follows in my wake. That doesn't sound very tasty now, does it?"
[02:25] * Keiru raises an eyebrow at Doc, "A mare after a raider's heart, eh?" She looks at the changelings, "Well, great, they're friendly." Sarcasm.
[02:26] * Doc rolls her eyes. "Oh quiet you."
[02:26] * Keiru smirks at Doc, waiting for the changelings to act.
[02:27] <Doc> The drones hiss. "This one we must take to the Queeeeeen." One says, pointing at Doc.
[02:27] * Doc smiles. "Oh? Brilliant, take me to your leader then!"
[02:28] * Keiru sits down and waits, "I suppose I'm disposable then?"
[02:29] <Doc> The same drone points at Keiru. "And this one has much love for one... mmm, take her to the feeding chambers!"
[02:29] * Keiru laughs, "There we go! I always wanted to end my life as a meal for a bug!"
[02:31] * Doc looks at Keiru, and shakes her head. "Show no emotion, none at all. You'll effectively disappear." She whispers to her.
[02:32] * Keiru rolls her eyes and looks back at Doc, "In case you didn't know, I'm partailly broken, hiding my emotions is practially impossible."
[02:32] * Doc snorts. "Do it anyway!"
[02:32] * Keiru lays on her back, knowing their trapped, "Wish me luck then." She reclines.
[02:34] <Keiru> they're*
[02:35] * Doc nods, before the drones grab her. "Best of luck Miss Longcaster! Come up to the throne room once you've escaped. Allons-y!" With that, she's carried off.
[02:36] * Keiru chuckles, "She thinks I'm going to escape. We'll see." She speaks before she is carted off herself.
[02:43] <Doc> The drones chitter to each other, but the chittering slowly begins to become coherent to Keiru... somehow.
[02:43] * Keiru flicks her ears, "Eh? Care to repeat that?"
[02:45] <Doc> The drone looks down at Keiru, chittering again. "I said, your love will be most delicious to feed on."
[02:47] * Keiru nods, "o-kay. Although with my love, you're gonna have to taste my fear, pain and regret."
[02:47] <Doc> The drone tilts his head. "No, love is only emotion we will be feeding on."
[02:48] * Keiru smirks, "You see. I'm a bit cracked. My emotions aren't nicely catalouged as you'd like."
[02:49] <Doc> The drone sniffs Keiru, frowning. "This one is... impure. She cannot be converted!"
[02:50] <Doc> "Dispose of her!"
[02:50] * Keiru laughs, "Impure? Sorry I'm not a virgin!" Her horn lights
[02:51] <Doc> The two drones carrying Keiru bank away, down a different tunnel, from which screams are issuing.
[02:53] * Keiru waits, keeping the magic going and preparing to cast a spell.
[02:54] <Doc> The drones don't seem to notice, as the screaming got louder and closer.
[02:55] * Keiru squints, trying to see what's going on ahead.
[02:55] <Doc> Up ahead, is a giant furnace, into which the 'impure' ponies are being tossed into.
[02:57] * Keiru grins, "Ooh! Fire!" She concentrates further on her spell, her horn lighting a second layer.
[02:58] <Doc> The drones line up, Keiru being 10 ponies back from the furnace.
[02:58] * Keiru squints and looks down.
[03:01] <Doc> Keiru is about 15 feet above a bed of, well, crystals, though there's a soft-looking patch of moss down there too.
[03:01] <Doc> Keiru is now only 5 ponies away.
[03:02] * Keiru sighs, "This is gonna hurt!" She casts a mass anasthetic spell around her in an attempt to numb up the guards to drop her or drop themselves.
[03:03] <Doc> The drones let out a screech, releasing Keiru and the others, all dropping towards the sharp crystals below.
[03:04] * Keiru groans, "I knew this was a bad ide-uff!" She sighs as her magic needs a moment to recharge.
[03:07] <Doc> Keiru finds herself wedged between two crystals, still alive, while her drone guards were impaled on one of said crystals, along with the others. One of the other ponies was impaled on the other crystal, just a young mare, barely out of college.
[03:09] * Keiru groans, "Another bullet casing goes in the box on my dresser, then... damn it..." She tries to unwedge herself and get out of the crystal area.
[03:12] <Doc> Keiru frees herself easily enough, ending up on a narrow path, with one of the other ponies splayed across it, a young colt, no cutie mark.
[03:13] * Keiru checks the little colt to see if he's okay.
[03:15] <Doc> He's dead, skull fractured from the fall.
[03:16] * Keiru winces, "That's two..." She looks for the others.
[03:17] <Doc> There's another nearby, head split open by a crystal, and the fourth in a similar state as the first, impaled through her chest.
[03:18] <Doc> The fifth is no where to be seen though.
[03:18] <Keiru> "Four..." She sighs and looks for a way up and out, picking up a stray crystal if she could.
[03:19] <Doc> "H-Help..."
[03:20] * Keiru flicks, hearing the voice, she turns towards the sound.
[03:21] <Doc> A hoof pokes out from beneath a collapsed crystal.
[03:21] <Doc> "H-H-Help m-me..."
[03:22] * Keiru immediately heads over to help haul the crystal off the pony.
[03:23] <Doc> The crystal moves with a bit of effort, revealing a battered an bruised filly beneath, missing part of her leg.
[03:23] <Doc> She looks up at Keiru. "Help..."
[03:25] * Keiru applies her magic once more to staunch the bleeding from the missing part of the leg, "Damn, no medical supplies... I'll see what I can do." Without much, she tries to move the filly to a softer, more even ground.
[03:26] * Doc whimpers, not resisting Keiru at all, too weak to do much of anything but cry.
[03:26] <Doc> The filly does that*
[03:29] * Keiru looks at the mossy patch and pulls some of the moss off of it and uses a cleansing spell to clear it of bacteria before she applies it as a makeshift bandage to the leg wound. "Hush now, quiet now, I'm doing what I can."
[03:32] <Doc> The filly whimper. "Wh-who... wh-wh-who are y-you...?"
[03:32] <Doc> whimpers*
[03:33] * Keiru looks her over and runs a diagnostic spell over her for other injuries, "Keiru."
[03:40] <Doc> Keiru finds that, well, the filly shouldn't be alive still. Massive internal injuries, her intestines and lower organs were all twisted around in the wrong way.
[03:44] * Keiru grimaces. "Well..." She's woefully under-equipped to deal with this. She starts tearing up and uses an anasthetic spell over the filly and tries what she could with other medical spells to fix the filly's insides.
[03:48] <Doc> The filly sighs. "Don't... worry about me... The, th-the changelings..." She gasps for breath. "St-top them... before... b-before..."
