A little boy from Mexico had a dream...a dream to become the best Pokemon player in the world. His name was reyscarface, and his journey to this round of ST8 is worthy of an entire telenova. Reyscarface has triumphed over many hardships: he has won many tournaments, made it to the finals of the most recent Smogon Tour, got his green card (not really), and said "hax" over five thousand times...now he must face his greatest opponent yet: five-star user Kevin Garrett. Kevin Garrett, the very paragon of the saying "fifth time's the charm," is known among Smogon as the champion of the most recent Smogon Tour, the creator of the aptly-named "Kevin Garrett Stall," and the reason why threads here at Smogon no longer operate on a five-star rating system. Both these players come from very different backgrounds; however, they are brought together today - not because it is not uncommon to hear both these players' names prefaced with the word "fuck" or followed by the word "sucks" - but because they must face each other in the eighth Official Smogon Tournament and fight...to the death.
