Alton Tisnott
A middle of the class graduate from the War College of Buena, Alton Tisnott initially served with the AFFC during the Clan Invasion in the Ninth FedCom RCT. Heavy losses inflicted by the Steel Vipers on the unit resulted in a bitter and angry Tisnott resigning his commission and joining up with Shearington's Shatterers, a nearly regiment-sized mercenary command formed out of several broken mercenary groups. Tisnott served as a Major in the Shatterers for almost a decade as the mercenary force settled into working a long-term garrison contract on the Lyran/Jade Falcon border, first under the LAAF, then the ARDC. Having had his fill of revenge on the Clansmen who killed his comrades, Tisnott managed to segue into a career in show business on the back of his gun camera footage, starring in Alpha Lance, DBC subsidiary Combat Action's attempt to compete with the Immortal Warrior series. Alpha Lance ran for 13 seasons, and focused on a lance of mercenaries fighting on any and every front to defend the helpless. By the end of the series, Major Tisnott's character had racked up an impressive on-screen kill count of 927 BattleMechs, leading a number of reviewers to decry the series as unrealistic.
