- 4 years of mostly Call of Duty has taught me not to give the game shit for my own mistakes. Half the time it was Internet connections screwing me over when I played that game, so I found ways to get better around that, so that when I got into that miracle lobby with good connections, I'd be doing better than anyone else. I took that same attitude I had then and applied it to speedrunning. It's not worth the strain of getting worked up when nothing ever comes out of that and you're still having fun. At the end of the day, you're just playing a video game you've always enjoyed and maybe always will enjoy no matter what. Video games are designed to make you have a good time and your attitude about that really helps with that fact. If you say you're having fun, but yelling at people and yourself about individual mistakes, are you really having fun?
