	Venec: 	* Done with his preperations for the journey and waiting for everyone else to gather in order to depart Venec sat outside the pokemon center teaching the Pichu that usually spent time there how to do backflips. "Now, I got your hands so you wont land on anything but your feet. Ready..?"
	Cepheus White: 	"...We're, again, ready to go. Hopefully THIS time we won't run into any more snags before leaving town. But then again, I'd rather run into them here than in the forest, so let's just pray the journey to Pewter goes by with little trouble."
	Grace Appara: 	"Trouble every once in a while is a good teacher. So long as we can keep them from destroying more of the city."
	Grace Appara: 	"The forest may be more ideal..."
	Lucy: 	"There's no 'may' about it. A place where less casualties is a factor is always ideal."
	Miranda: 	"Fussy, fussy, fussy."
	Cepheus White: 	"That's true. At least in that instance, no one is getting hurt but us."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(That sounded morbid...)
	Venec: 	"There you go! Remember to tuck your legs, they might be short nw but once you start evolving they'll be heavier." Venec coached the small pokemon before looking up. "Is everyone here?"
	Cepheus White: 	"I believe so," Cepheus answered, nodding to Venec. "...wait, Danny's missing. He'd better hurry."
	Cepheus White: 	"I forgot, did he say he had something to do today or is he just sleeping in?"
	Venec: 	"He's around I think. But he never has problems catching up when he runs off distraced by something." Venec pet the Pichu's head and stood up.
	Grace Appara: 	"Doesn't he usually catch up?"
	Cepheus White: 	"He does, but I want to make sure that he will before running off."
* Pichu began doing backflips on its own.
	Venec: 	"Incredible! You're a natural."
	Cepheus White: 	"Ah well, I guess we'll see him when we see him. Oh, one last thing before I go." Cepheus turned to his two aces. "Jupiter, Grace, I have something to tell you both."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(All ears. If I had them.)
* Pichu rubbed the back of its head and looked down.
	Grace Appara: 	"What is it?"
* Crystal is finishing organizing and packing her gear for the ADVENTURE of trying not to be killed by things while also trying to keep things from killing people.
	Cepheus White: 	"We've steadily been running into more and more dangerous obstacles, and I've noticed that you two have been damaged more than is necessary. So, for safety's sake, I only want ONE of you outside your Poke Ball for this journey.
	Cepheus White: 	You can decide amongst yourselves who you want it to be, but I don't want you both out and about."
	Venec: 	* Venec nodded to the small pokemon. "I come by here a lot so if you haven't found a trainer by the time I get back I'll come play with you again!" He waved and walked closer to the others.
	Grace Appara: 	"Just a second there, big boy."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Just one of us...?)
	Grace Appara: 	"Let me get this straight..."
* Jupiter Roswell didn't say anything yet. He was watching Grace to gauge her reaction first.
	Grace Appara: 	"You're saying, because we get a few scuffs here and there you want to be less protected and more of a target against Venec clones, unfathomable beasts and migrating legendary carnivores?"
	Cepheus White: 	"Given how at this point in time I'm not skilled enough to order both of you at the same time, I'd rather not have one of you just sitting around doing nothing."
	Venec: 	"She's right, you're the softest of the three of you." Venec chuckled.
	Grace Appara: 	"Sitting around and doing nothing?"
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus had to keep himself from smirking at Venec's comment.
	Cepheus White: 	"...yes, that's what I said."
	Cepheus White: 	"Against the Venec clone, it was Jupiter performing most of the fight on our end, but you were the one who got hurt the most."
	Cepheus White: 	"This is not a decision I'm taking lightly here. I know the risks involved for both myself and you."
	Crystal: 	"The way you worded it makes it sound like their fault."
	Grace Appara: 	"And I suppose I'll end up like the majority of your other Pokémon. Left at your hip while Jupiter takes the reigns?"
	Cepheus White: 	"Their fault? Hardly."
	Grace Appara: 	"What're you going to do when neither of us fit the bill for a battle, return one and call the other?"
	Cepheus White: 	"I would probably call on someone else."
	Grace Appara: 	"And the number of targets or possible dangers won't change."
	Venec: 	"Cepheus..." Venec sighed.
	Venec: 	"Sooner or later you're going to have to pick whether you're her Master or her boyfriend."
* Crystal holds back a giggle at Venec's comment.
	Cepheus White: 	"...Venec...are you implying that I go along with whatever she says?"
	Crystal: 	"I think he's saying you're too protective."
	Venec: 	"No, I'm saying you should give her a choice every once and a while."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Hey, Grace,) Jupiter whispered, (if it'll shut him up, I'll go back.)
	Grace Appara: 	"If it'll shut him up, you can charge beam him."
	Cepheus White: 	"I wasn't implying that I was going to pick Jupiter no matter what she said, Venec."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(...You're crazy; there's no way I'm going to do that!)
	Venec: 	"If you're just her trainer that's one thing but she's more than that you're going to need to treat her like an actual partner."
	Cepheus White: 	"I feel like i've been treating her like a partner and not like her trainer at all. She's been sitting on the sidelines constantly, and is getting hurt because of it."
	Grace Appara: 	"Which has kept you out of danger."
	Grace Appara: 	"I can take a hit or two. I can take more punishment than you. That's what I here for. To take hits for you."
	Cepheus White: 	"...I'm on the frontlines just as much as you are; I can take a hit just fine."
	Grace Appara: 	"Against what exactly?"
	Grace Appara: 	"Sure, you can take Ghost, Dark or Bug type attacks better than I can, but everything else under the damn rainbow, you can't and you know it."
	Cepheus White: 	"...You're avoiding my original question. I am doing this for your safety; I don't care nearly as much about mine."
	Crystal: 	"That's not a question."
	Grace Appara: 	"And that doesn't meet anything good for any of us."
	Venec: 	"She does though. And you're not giving her the choice to care."
	Cepheus White: 	"Fine, a request."
	Grace Appara: 	"You're requesting me to back out of battle? To step out of the line of fire? To relinquish my personal safety to you?"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Crystal, what do I dooo...?) Jupiter sauntered over to Crystal slowly, clearly having absolutely no idea what he should be doing.
	Cepheus White: 	"Would you rather be on the front line or would you rather Jupiter be there instead?"
	Crystal: 	"Grace, if he promises to stay behind the rest of us, will that make you more comfortable with this? He wants you and Jupiter to decide who stays out most of the time--you could be the one out here helping protect him."
	Grace Appara: 	"If those are my choices, I have the perfect answer."
* Grace Appara held out both of her hands and closed her eyes, facing Cepheus.
	Grace Appara: 	"Hand me my PokéBall."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter, sensing the worst, zoomed at full speed through the air and stood between them, screaming (NO!!!)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Boss, I'll hide in my Poke Ball. Whatever it takes. Just so long if it'll keep you two from being rash!)
	Grace Appara: 	"I'm not at all being rash."
	Crystal: 	"Grace, are you planning to break your pokeball?"
	Grace Appara: 	"Free myself? If that's what it takes you better believe it."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Liar! You're going to break your Poke Ball and run off just because of some petty disagreement?)
* Crystal pokes Jupiter. "Hush. She's planning to follow as a free 'mon, probably."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(You've been through WAY too much to leave it all behind! You run off and you'll regret it WAY more!)
	Crystal: 	"If Cepheus wants to use the pokeball as a way to sideline her, for her safety or not, she probably wants to eliminate that."
	Grace Appara: 	"I have no need of a Trainer that cannot train me. No need of a Trainer that cannot stand the same ground as his or her own partners. My goal is constantly put to the side because of fear and fear doesn't get anyone anywhere other than scurrying off as someone's future prey."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Then he did an about face and stared at Cepheus, a bit close to crying. (Stop it...stop it stop it stop it!)
	Venec: 	* Venec didn't want Grace to leave... she was one of his closest friends. But... he was happy she was standing up for herself.
	Cepheus White: 	"... ..." He said nothing, taking in everything said and being said.
* Crystal looks at them, then scratches the back of her head. "If you're not being rash, what do you plan to do after you break it?"
	Grace Appara: 	"I'm going to grow."
	Crystal: 	"How? With who?"
	Grace Appara: 	"Who said I'd need anyone?"
	Miranda: 	"Not I."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Crystal, you can translate for me, right?)
	Lucy: 	"Miranda, you should stay out of the petty arguments."
	Crystal: 	"Everyone needs someone." She turns to Jupiter, "Who do you need to speak to?"
	Miranda: 	"I don't think it's petty. Sounds pretty damn improtant."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(I need to speak to Ceph. Tell him this
	Jupiter Roswell: 	ugh colon parenthesis smiley go away
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Tell him that I'm not going to let him have a choice and I'm going to stay out of my Poke Ball just as much as Grace is, because I'm not going to let their petty whims and stupid decisions get in the way of becoming the most amazing trainer-Pokemon duo EVER!!!)
	Grace Appara: 	"Y'know Jupiter."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(They keep this up and they're going to do something they won't be able to take back. I am not going to let that happen!)
	Grace Appara: 	"I honestly feel I'd be beter as Miranda's Pokémon sometimes."
	Miranda: 	"Hold on now, say again?"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Stop lying!)
	Crystal: 	"... What?" She quickly translates for Cepheus.
	Grace Appara: 	"Well, you trained Mewtwo right? Look at him. And I want to be stronger than that."
	Cepheus White: 	"...Jupiter..."
	Miranda: 	"Trained is kind of a stretchy term there."
	Crystal: 	"They were trainer and pokemon for a while, but they got split up."
	Cepheus White: 	"...I have only known you for a little over a year, and already you've grown so much."
	Cepheus White: 	"I never thought I'd hear the day when YOU would talk back to me as well, to prevent me from doing something foolish."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Do...do I take that as a compliment...?)
	Venec: 	"It's already been done Cepheus. You've been doing it since the day you were her trainer."
* Crystal looks through her team roster, then over to Grace. "If you -have- to leave Cepheus' team, you don't have to leave Team Oak. You could train with one of us instead if you want to."
	Grace Appara: 	"None of you are much different."
	Crystal: 	"That way you can still stay close to the people you care about."
	Cepheus White: 	"..I suppose ..."
	Venec: 	"How am I not different?"
	Crystal: 	"Do you mean something like primarily using one or two pokemon out of our team?"
	Cepheus White: 	(Ugh, what have I done? I try to reduce casualties and THIS happens! I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, though... I seem to be cursed wherever I go.)
	Cepheus White: 	He was thinking, unable to act or say anything. He bit his lip.
	Grace Appara: 	"Ceph-chan switches between me and Jupiter. You switch between Miranda and Eli. Tatakai-kun is the only one truly different because he uses a different Pokémon every so often, but he still mainly uses Layla and Lucy. If I join you Crystal, I fall in line and still left not growing. If I join Tatakai-kun I'll end up constantly swapped out for the many members he catches. I'm doomed to not grow with anyone else in this team, Ceph-chan is my best option and the whole reason I chose him as my Trainer from the beginning. And even that has been going slowly."
	Venec: 	"I've only been using Lucy recently, I've mostly used Rhea and Layla. And even then I haven't been in many battles."
	Crystal: 	"Actually, I was planning to train Honchi for a while. I know my team's unbalanced in their growth, and I want to fix that."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	((Agh, dammit!)) Jupiter was thinking. ((If I want Grace to grow strong and fulfill her dream, I have to be a background player...but right now I can't! I let them mess up and I'll NEVER forgive myself!))
	Miranda: 	"Can't say I'm complaining though. Either being used or not. I'm fine on the sidelines."
	Grace Appara: 	"If I'm to stay Jupiter, there's only one thing left to do."
	Grace Appara: 	"You know what that is yeah?"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Why couldn't I have just been the boss's ONLY Pokemon!) he said out loud. ...Oh crap, he said something he shouldn't have.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(...I didn't mean that...!)
	Grace Appara: 	"Because there's just things you fail against? If you were his only Pokémon, he'd be dead."
	Crystal: 	"What's the one thing, Grace?"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(What do I fail against that you don't?)

	Crystal: 	"Fire."

	Crystal: 	"You looked pretty hurt when she Fire Punched you, and you asked what -you- fail at that -she- doesn't."

* Grace Appara placed her hands on Jupiter and turned him to face her.

	Grace Appara: 	"We need to make Ceph-chan stronger. Force him to stop being weak and scared."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(We? ...Or you?)
	Grace Appara: 	"We force him to grow so we can grow. I won't get any stronger with him like this and you'll always be a little kid he just karts around."
	Grace Appara: 	"We."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(I'm NOT a little kid!)
	Grace Appara: 	"We need to force him to learn how to order both of us at the same time. Speak so fast that only we understand the commands."
* Crystal looks over to Miranda, feeling defeated herself since she can't figure out how to help.
	Miranda: 	"Clearly he's a lackluster Trainer." Miranda shrugs at the comment.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(You shut your mouth, wench!) Jupiter whipped around, his eyes filled with rage.
* Crystal moves between Jupiter and Miranda.
* Miranda giggled, "Ooooh, I'm so scared. The big bad Magnezone is gonna lie down on me."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(You slander him any more, and I SWEAR I will be the last thing you ever see!)
	Venec: 	"We're all learning Miranda, it's why they hand out trainer license, not pokemon master certifications."
	Grace Appara: 	"She's only trying to lighten the situation, Jupiter. Just brush it off."
	Crystal: 	"Miranda, please stop provoking them. Jupiter, if you touch her I will throw you in the ocean!"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Uggggggggh...Why do we even keep her around?)
	Miranda: 	"Because I'm me of course. It's why anyone wants me around."
	Grace Appara: 	"And because you were in the Rayquaza war. Even if you died."
	Miranda: 	"Hey, any normal person can only sustain so many Hyper Beams before the disintegrate."

	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter was very silently seething. He couldn't stand Miranda, and he knew Cepheus' opinion of her wasn't very hot either. He slowly, slooooooooowly turned back around to Grace and matched her gaze again.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(...Okay...What's step one?)
	Grace Appara: 	"Step one."
	Grace Appara: 	"We refuse to enter our PokéBalls. Force him to get used to the both of us being out and about and if he wants us to be all safe and pretty, he'll need to learn how to command us both."
* Crystal watches Jupiter carefully, ready to act if he goes after Miranda.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(What if we run into something that neither of us can handle?)
	Miranda: 	"It's okay, Crysa. If he beams me I'll just mock him."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Or is this going to be one of those 'there's NOTHING we can't handle!' moments?)
	Grace Appara: 	"I have a mind of my own. I CAN do things without his command."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(And I don't?)
	Grace Appara: 	"I just oddly get little out of it."
	Grace Appara: 	"I don't know. What do you think? Can you act on your own or are you useless without Ceph-chan's guidance?"
	Venec: 	"Should we plot and walk?" Venec asked, hoping the worst was over.
	Crystal: 	"Jupiter.... if you two run into something you can't handle, you have the rest of us to back you up. That's what being on a team is."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(I...I don't know. Making him into the person he SHOULD be is my only purpose...)
	Lucy: 	"You know, we COULD do this and move our feet at the same time."
	Grace Appara: 	"And so far, he's still the same. You're failing. It's why we have to work together."
	Grace Appara: 	"Even now, look at him."
* Grace Appara points to Cepheus.

* Jupiter Roswell charged right into Cepheus' back and slapped him with gusto on the follow-up!

* Crystal sighs and walks back over to her bag, pulling out a sparkling lemonade in case Cepheus needs it at some point.
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus White loses 20 hit points.
DNA: 	The combination of slaps appeared to wake him out of his stupor. His eyes lifted up and he was staring right at Grace. Jupiter was behind him.
Kaorin Sakura: 	( Same for Jupiter. 1d10+6+attack stat )

	Venec: 	"She's a girl, can't hit her back!"
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus White loses 16 hit points.
	Cepheus White: 	"That alone wouldn't stop me, Venec."
	Cepheus White: 	"But I have no intent of hitting anyone back."
	Grace Appara: 	"Wake up. We're not going anywhere. That's our answer. Deal with it, big boy. Now walk. We have an Irian-chan to check up on."
	Cepheus White: 	"It appears that...once again, I am wrong."
	Lucy: 	"...They're hopeless. But I guess that's why they're perfect for each other. Grace didn't want to leave despite the way she behaved..."
	Crystal: 	"You're a scientist, not a social magician. You're going to get things wrong now and then." She starts walking with Miranda.
	Cepheus White: 	"...hah..."
	Cepheus White: 	He had nothing else really to say at this point, because there was nothing else to say. "All right, you two, you win."
	Venec: 	"I'm glad." Venec smiled. "His hearts in the right place, he's just got to be less controlling. It's a hard balance when you're the trainer of your girlfriend."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Whoo! We won!) He twirled a bit in the air, spun his fedora, and was already back to his old self.
	Venec: 	*to Lucy
	Cepheus White: 	"Hard balance is an understatement, Venec," he responded, starting his walk.
	Lucy: 	"I suppose that'd be weird."
	Lucy: 	"Good thing you two aren't dating." Lucy said to both Crystal and Miranda.
	Miranda: 	"I guess."
	Venec: 	"Can't imagine. You're wierd enough as it is Aneue." Venec laughed
* Crystal giggles a bit at Lucy's words.

	Venec: 	Venec walked down the streets to the north, avoiding the toxic pokemon at the sid of the road.
	Cepheus White: 	"My first step will need to be to learn how to control you both at once in battle, it seems."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Wait, I see stuff!) Jupiter stole Cepheus' Pokedex and scanned the trash things at the side of the road.
	Cepheus White: 	"Would it kill you to ask before doing that?"

	Venec: 	ITEM GET! Venec noticed something gleaming to the side and ran off to get it. May half followed curiously but stopped as she saw Venec crouch into the grass.

	Venec: 	"TM it seems. 75? Swords Dance? There's a quality move I'll tell you" Venec grinned as he flashed his bracelet.
	Grace Appara: 	"Ceph-chan..."
	Crystal: 	"Could I have it for a moment?"
	Cepheus White: 	"...Yes?"
	Grace Appara: 	"Can I learn that and Hilton change it for my mind instead of my muscles?"
	Venec: 	"Sure!" Venec tossed it around.
* Crystal catches and uses it to learn Swords Dance, before moving and tossing it to Grace.
	Cepheus White: 	"I'm not sure, actually, but it could be worth a shot. Unfortunately I'm a little short after shifting Ice Punch for you."

	Grace Appara: 	"And I can't wait to Ice Punch. )

	Cepheus White: 	"Nor can I."
