- Character Name: Springtrap
- Franchise of Origin: Five Nights at Freddy’s
- Overview: William Afton A.K.A Purple Guy was a mad inventor and serial killer hiding under the guise of the friendly co-founder of the beloved family restaurant, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. In life, he took countless innocent lives and used the souls of his victims in his experiments, transmitting their spirits into the animatronic mascots of his creation. No one knows the true motives behind his insidious actions but after being killed by a springlocked suit, being burned to the ground, trapped in his own, personal Hell only to return to haunt a VR game and be unleashed onto the physical world yet again with the aid of a follower infected by his madness, only one thing about this enigmatic killer is clear… he ALWAYS COMES BACK!
- Playstyle: Springtrap is a sluggish heavy weight with above average attack power comparable to Bowser. He relies on crippling his foes with status effects and putting pressure on them to make mistakes in order to get the upper hand in battle while slowly building up his remnant supply and enter Remnant Mode. He also possesses super armor and is difficult to make flinch, but not impossible, a perfectly timed Smash attack for instance will cause him to flinch and be open to following attacks, having a larger window to do so then all other characters as Springtrap will stagger momentarily after having his super armor broken through.
- Alternate Colors/Costumes:
- P1- Springtrap Yellow (Default)
- P2- Freddy Brown
- P3- Bonnie Purple
- P4- Mangle White
- P5- Foxy Red
- P6- Toxic Green (based on Toxic Springtrap from Special Delivery)
- P7- Charred Black with Purple Eyes
- P8- Burntrap (FNAF: Security Breach)
- Basic Attacks:
- Jab Combo (A,A,A)- Two horizontal slashes from his knife ended with a stab to the gut
- Side Tilt- Springtrap punches downward
- Down Tilt- Springtrap stomps the ground, potentially burying opponents if the sweet spot is hit
- Up Tilt- Springtrap swings his knife overhead
- Dash Attack- Springtrap lunges at the opponent like a wild animal, landing on all fours
- Edge Attack- Springtrap raises his hand and slams it on the ground, like a zombie rising from the grave
- Aerials:
- Standard Air- Knife Jab
- Forward Air- Springtrap grabs the opponent, stabs them three times and throws them downward (command grab, spikes)
- Down Air- Springtrap swings his fire axe downwards, spiking opponents
- Up Air- Springtrap thrusts his knife upwards two times, hitting a single opponent twice or two opponents once
- Back Air- Springtrap pulls out a gun and fires it (projectile)
- Smash Moves:
- Side+A- Springtrap spews a cloud of Remnant from his mouth, hitting foes multiple times until the cloud dissipates
- Up+A- Springtrap swings his fire axe downwards and strikes the ground (spikes opponents)
- Down+A- Springtrap powers down, his lifeless body dropping forward at full force (huge knock back)
- Grabs:
- Pummel- Springtrap viciously bites at the opponent’s head/face (Bite of 87’ reference)
- Forward+Throw- Springtrap headbutts the opponent
- Down+Throw- Springtrap throws the opponent to the ground and stomps them on the head
- Back+Throw- Springtrap performs a spinning Neckbreaker.
- Up+Throw:- Springtrap performs a Texas Pildriver on the opponent.
- Special Moves:
- Standard+B- Cursed Mask - Upon pressing B, Springtrap pulls out a creepy bunny mask identical to Vanny’s, press B again to put the mask on a nearby opponent or hold B to lunge forward to put the mask on an opponent from a distance. Upon putting the mask on the opponent, the opponent will suffer the poison status effect, reversed controls and will occasionally be paralyzed (similar to the effect of the Yuri Kozukata assist trophy). The opponent can shake the mask off by rapidly pressing left and right on the D-Pad or by being struck with a Smash attack. The higher the opponent’s percentage is, the harder it is to shake the mask off.
- Side+B- Jumpscare - A command grab styled move where Springtrap rushes forward with his hand outstretched to grab an opponent. If the attack connects Springtrap will scream in the opponent’s face, terrifying them. Upon being scared the opponent’s attacks will do less damage to Springtrap while Springtrap’s does more damage to them, their running speed and jumping height are also cut to really add salt to the wound. The effect wears off after five seconds. The lunge does a small amount of damage (3%) while the jumpscare does no damage at all.
- Up+B- Shadow Springtrap - Springtrap’s body falls apart, leaving behind his spirit resembling a purple colored, 8-Bit Shadow Bonnie (similar to the one in the FNAF 3 mini game). Springtrap’s spirit can then fly around the stage freely for a couple of seconds, if an opponent comes in contact with Shadow Springtrap they will be slightly damaged (5%) and poisoned, poisoning can be stacked with the effects of Cursed Mask and Jumpscare. The pieces of Springtrap’s body will also do light damage if they land on opponents (2%).
- Down+B- Arcade Cabinet - Springtrap spawns an old, Fazbear-styled arcade cabinet in front of him. The arcade cabinet will spawn 8-Bit versions of Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy or Mr. Cupcake at random; each sprite acts differently and the cabinet will spawn all five if it lasts long enough. Freddy lumbers around the stage and will attack with a jumpscare if enemies are close (6%), Bonnie will jump around (8%), Chica will throw 8-bit cupcakes that damage opponents (10%) but will heal Springtrap (3%), Foxy will dash around at lightning speeds and will actively chase after opponents (15-20%) and Mr. Cupcake can be picked up and thrown at opponents (5%). Opponents can break the arcade machine by attacking it multiple times, Springtrap can also use the arcade cabinet as a shield to defend himself from attacks.
- Special: Remnant Mode - Springtrap has a gauge shaped like a rabbit’s head by his character profile that fills with Remnant (visualized as a boiling, purple liquid) every time he lands a hit of any kind, his Cursed Mask and Jumpscare moves filling the gauge quicker than any other attack while KO’ing an opponent will fill it significantly. Once full, Springtrap can activate Remnant Mode which significantly increases his speed and power and turns his Jumpscare move into a deadly, Remnant Breath attack that damages enemies repeatedly and poisons them, poisoning worsens the longer they stay in his remnant cloud, said cloud being quite large as a total of four characters can fit within it. Using Remnant Breath will drain your Remnant Gauge significantly and might force Springtrap out of Remnant Mode quicker as a result.
- Final Smash: Springlocked - Springtrap takes out the Pirate’s Cove curtain and swings it forward, if the curtain connects, a cutscene will play with Springtrap putting the Spring Bonnie suit on the opponent from their perspective, we see the opponent dressed as Spring Bonnie looking at the suit in confusion until the spring locks go off four times (6% each, totaling to 24% damage) until the mask springlocks inducing great damage (10%) and causing to fall to the floor, they look up at Springtrap while convulsing in pain and agony, Springtrap gives takes out his axe and chuckles grimly before dealing the killing blow (10%). This Final Smash can only hit one opponents a time but all other players will experience the effects of Jumpscare after the cutscene ends.
- Taunts:
- 1: Springtrap proclaims “I always come back!” while wiping “blood” off his knife with his hand in a similar fashion to how he does in the movie.
- 2: Springtrap hums the Toreador March while making mock music conductor motions with his hands, purple music notes fly around his head while doing so.
- 3: Springtrap proclaims “It’s Me!” and pulls his animatronic face off, revealing his true, rotting face. The mask automatically snapping back into position after doing so.
- Winposes:
- 1: Springtrap towers over the camera and pulls out a Freddy head, Springtrap then slams the head onto the camera view, which now looks through the holes of the mask, Springtrap then looks through the left eye hole of the mask with a finger to his mouth in a shushing matter.
- 2: Springtrap laughs maniacally as he furiously stabs at something with his back turned from the camera, he then turns around to show he was cutting up a pizza, he then stabs into a slice and eats it off his knife.
- 3: The camera looks left to right with no Springtrap to be found, then Springtrap’s hand grabs the camera and spins it towards him, letting out a terrifying hissing-like scream (FNAF3 jumpscare sound effect). Springtrap then stares vacantly at the camera.
- Series Emblem: The Fazbear Entertainment INC. Logo (FNAF: Help Wanted)

- Kirby Hat: Upon swallowing Springtrap, Kirby will get Springtrap’s ears on the top of his head
- Stage: Five Nights at Freddy’s - A spinning stage similar in function and appearance to the Carousel of Progress at Disney Land. Each section of the spinning stage is based on a location from a different FNAF game, a total of five locations based on FNAF 1-4 and Sister Location. After some time the stage will transition to the next location. Each section has cameos of animatronic characters originating from their respective games. The recreation of FNAF 1’s office has Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, FNAF 2 has the toy animatronics and the Puppet. FNAF3 has the Phantom animatronics, FNAF 4 has the nightmare animatronics (including Nightmare BB, Nightmarionne and Nightmare Fredbear/Nightmare) and Sister Location has Circus Baby, Ballora, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy and Ennard. These characters are strictly cameos and not hazards.
