  1. You'll never understand women. You woke up this morning to 25 missed calls from Sadie, and she was pretty angry until Sanja stepped in and explained things (Which was amazing since she had a hangover). While this did calm Sadie down, she seemed a bit angry still though she sounded a bit angry at the end of it all. You were free to do what you wanted again today, things were calm and quiet, just as they should be.
  2.
  3. You stopped a few small time robberies, Nothing really to write home about in that regard. With that being the case, you had decided to read the information Sally had sent you the prior day. From what she'd found so far, Koffman had been using the chemical ZIT9 to mess around with the DNA of inmates at various prisons to create the monsters that had attacked you and your friends.
  4.
  5. When Sadie had learned about this earlier today, she immediately called Sally (and everyone else) and put them on a shared call (How she figured that out is beyond you) and tried to convince everyone to bust into his building and arrest him then and there. But that just won't work. According to Sally, they'd have to gather far more sufficient evidence than that. Sanja offered to do some scouting, but it was something that would require a team effort and you'd probably have find the evidence while going to take Koffman head on.
  6.
  7. You pushed it out of your mind and sat on a rooftop overlooking the town, Nice and quite just as usual, when some more messages came up.
  8.
  9. From Jane: Hey Big Guy, I wanna hang out. Come oooooon, it'll be fun~!
  10. From Saya: Yo, so uh, wanna join me for a work out after I'm done classes?
  11. From Sadie: Hey feel like talking? I'm at work right now, but I'll be grabbing lunch soon
  12. From Sanja: Hey Red, let's hang out again! Last night was fun...mostly, the hangover sucked.
  13.
  14. You are Red Meteor, and well...another calm day it seems. Who do you spend time with?
  15.
  16. >Jane
  17.
  18. You decide to hang out with Jane. She's a lot more relaxed compared to the others and so nothing too crazy should happen...you hope so anyway. You text a reply to Jane that you're on your way to meet her, while telling everyone else you're busy for the time being.
  19.
  20. From Saya: Dammit, I understand...
  21. From Sadie: Hmph, fine, There's always later tonight I suppose
  22. From Sanja: I'll get you next time ;D
  23.
  24. That went better than expected. You were expecting one of them to be mad or something. Well, you won't look a gift horse in the mouth and will just be thankful for it for now. You hop on some rooftops, Jane telling you to meet her in front of her house.
  25.
  26. You arrive there finally (Someone got their cat stuck in a tree and you just had to help) powering down as you land in front of Jane. You'd opted for a suit to wear today. No real reason, you just really liked some of the suits you'd gotten from that little shopping trip.
  27.
  28. "There you are Red!" Jane said smiling broadly "About time they voted for me!"
  29.
  30. "What are you talking about...?" You ask with a raised eyebrow
  31.
  32. "Nothing, don't worry. So hey hey, what do you wanna do? Wanna play video games? head down to this cool club I know? Whatever you wanna do, I'll go along with it Red!"
  33.
  34. >Video Games
  35. >Head to the club
  36. >Just walking around would be nice
  37. >Other/Write-in
  38.
  39. >Video Games
  40.
  41. You do enjoy video games. Playing them with Tim was something you enjoyed doing, you ought to head back to his house someday and get in some gaming time with him. With all that's been happening, you haven't had time for that at all.
  42.
  43. "Let's play some video games then." You say
  44.
  45. "Cool, mom and dad aren't home yet, so it'll be okay if I have someone over."
  46.
  47. That little comment makes you question if this is really okay, but you don't worry too much about it as you stepped into Jane's home. It was a nice looking place, nothing fancy, but you could tell the place was warm and welcoming. You didn't hang out in the front room for too long before Jane took you up to her room.
  48.
  49. This place...was a bit more messy. There were articles of clothing strewn throughout, the closet was left slightly ajar and there were quite a few instruments laying around too. There was a keyboard, a computer set up with an expensive mic set up for it, as well as a bass guitar hanging on the wall.
  50.
  51. You're cut short from your inspection of her room when Jane pops in a game and motions for you to sit down next to her.
  52.
  53. "Come on, we're playing Super Clash Cousins 4 and I am going to school you! Don't feel bad when you lose Red!"
  54.
  55. Is that a challenge? You think you just got called out.
  56.
  57. "You're on!" you say smiling deviously
  58.
  59. >Roll 1d100
  60.
  61. >Rolled 83
  62.
  63. You and Jane get down to playing, you decide to pick Commander Eagle, his Eagle Punch is an attack that can send nearly any character flying off the screen even when they're health is a low hit percentage. As for Jane she chose Captain Lolimar, a weird character who was pretty weak on his own, but had good attacks with his little alien friends so long as they were out and active.
  64.
  65. What followed next was an actually close match. Jane really knew how to put Lolimar to use, from tossing aliens at you, to sneaking it multi hits to tossing you around with grabs, Jane was one tough customer. However, despite how good she was you managed to just get a lucky hit in on her and end the match.
  66.
  67. "What the...! No one can defeat my Lolimar!" she howled in dramatic agony
  68.
  69. "Well, someone just did. Never underestimate the power of the EAGLE PUNCH!" You say mimicking the Commander Eagle."
  70.
  71. "No fair, I want a rematch!"
  72.
  73. "Hmmm...maybe."
  74.
  75. "M-maybe?!"
  76.
  77. >Let's play something else
  78. >Fine, another round then(1d100)
  79. >Other/Write-in
  80.
  81. >Fine, another round then(58)
  82.
  83. "Fine another round then!" You exclaim heading back to the character select screen. You decide to switch characters, this time going for Lil' Joe, a good boxing character, who sadly had no real air game. It shouldn't be too much of a problem though, as you could work around that easily.
  84.
  85. As for Jane, she chose Rompy Jong, a weird looking Panda who wore a necktie and nothing else. He had some strong grabs, and very powerful hits, but he was big and slow, which could work to your advantage. The only thing you had to look out for was his devastating wind-up punch attack. That thing could do even more damage than Captain Eagle's punch.
  86.
  87. What follows is...a less than stellar showing for the both of you. Joe wasn't your best character and clearly Rompy Jong wasn't Jane's best character either. You eventually win but it wasn't anything to really write home about. The two of you both know this, but don't opt to say anything.
  88.
  89. "Okay, I'll admit, you're not bad Red." Jane muttered
  90.
  91. "You aren't too bad yourself." You reply
  92.
  93. The two of you feel as though you've garnered a mutual respect for the other through these matches.
  94.
  95. >Let's play something else
  96. >What's with all the instruments
  97. >Your room is pretty messy you know
  98. >Other/Write-in
  99.
  100.
  101. You take notice of all the instruments around the room, it makes the place seem a bit more cluttered than it should be.
  102.
  103. "So Jane, what are you doing with all these instruments?" You ask
  104.
  105. "Oh these? Well, it's kinda embarrassing, but I've always really been into music. I'm studying it in school." She replies smiling
  106.
  107. "Really? So you play all of these?"
  108.
  109. "Yeah, guitar, piano,I even have quite the singing voice if I do say so myself."
  110.
  111. "Huh, I didn't think you'd be that talented."
  112.
  113. "Oh it surprises a lot of people, I'm thankful for those singing lessons though, you know how many people I get to freak out in the locker rooms with wailing while I'm in ghost mode? It's hilarious!"
  114.
  115. She proceeds to laugh a bit more, though you shoot her a disapproving look, telling her it's not a good thing to go around scaring people.
  116.
  117. "Come on now Red, I have ghost powers, it's kind of in the job description of a ghost to be spooky and freak some people out. Besides, it's a good thing in the long run, it gives that supernatural club at school something to do."
  118.
  119. "There's a supernatural club?"
  120.
  121. "Supernatural club, Sleeping club, Heck there's even a cheese club"
  122.
  123. "...Cheese?"
  124.
  125. She waves her hand "Look, I don't get it either, but I'm not gonna question it. That aside, how about I play a little song for you Red?"
  126.
  127. >Okay...
  128. >No,no, let's just play another game
  129. >Other/Write-in
  130.
  131. >Okay...
  132.
  133. "Okay, sure..." You say a bit weary of what Jane was going to sing. She pulls out a guitar from her closet, causing you to fight the urge to look and see what else she has stowed away in there before she proceeds to tune it a bit.
  134.
  135. "Alright, it's a been a while, so give a little bit." She mutters
  136.
  137. Once she's done with her adjustments she begins to sing...
  138.
  139. Surprisingly, Jane doesn't sound so bad, in fact, she's actually really good at singing! You can't help but hum along to the beat she's strumming, that is until you actually listen to the words...
  140.
  141. Suffice to say they're extremely lewd! Jane makes numerous euphemisms for rubbing, licking and a host of other things that would probably make any mother cover their child's ears. All you can do is blush in embarrassment, you are infinitely thankful that there's no one else here to hear such crass lyrics.
  142.
  143. Or so you thought.
  144.
  145. You don't know how are when, but while you were sitting there listening to Jane sing a rather gruff looking man had appeared in the doorway. You were so busy face palming and trying to mentally deal with her words that you didn't see him.
  146.
  147. "Ahem." He said loud enough for Jane to hear and then suddenly sweat as her eyes went wide and she slowly turned around
  148.
  149. "O-oh...h-hi daddy!" She said putting on a pained smile
  150.
  151. "Jane" Her father started, "Who is this?"
  152.
  153. "Oh...um...well...he's...ya see, there's a perfect explanation for this?"
  154.
  155. "I'm waiting." He replied
  156.
  157. >Shake his hand, introduce yourself
  158. >I'm her boyfriend!
  159. >I'm a friend of hers
  160. >Other/Write-in
  161.
  162. >Shake his hand, introduce yourself
  163.
  164. Well, there's no need for you to be afraid of the guy or anything. It's not like he can really hurt you in any way shape or form. So you walk up to him and extend a hand to him.
  165.
  166. "Hello there, Name's Red Mr...?"
  167.
  168. "Name's Harvey" He states taking your hand and shaking it. His grip is firm and powerful. "Nice to meet you Red, now may I ask why you're in my daughter's room?"
  169.
  170. "We were just playing games together." You state innocently
  171.
  172. "He means console games daddy!" Jane quickly chimes in waving her arms around erratically
  173.
  174. "...Right. So you're this Red my daughter has been talking about."
  175.
  176. "You know about me?" you say surprised
  177.
  178. "My daughter won't stop going on about this 'Red' and how awesome and fun he is. How about we sit down over some coffee, my wife should be home soon enough." Harvey stated "She'd love to meet you too."
  179.
  180. "That'd be gre-"
  181.
  182. "We can't!" Jane interrupted
  183.
  184. "We can't?" You repeat
  185.
  186. "Yeah we can't, I've got work tonight and you promised to come along remember?"
  187.
  188. "I did?"
  189.
  190. "You did, now let's go!" Jane roared taking you by the hand and dragging you down the stairs and out the house.
  191.
  192. "Hmmm..." Harvey muttered "I'll get them next time." He left his daughter's room, heading downstairs to fix himself some coffee, he really needed the stuff after a long day of work.
  193.
  194. Back with you and Jane she was leading you down the street as she let out a sigh "Man that was close."
  195.
  196. "What's the big deal?" You ask confused
  197.
  198. "You dope, my dad was gonna grill you hard!"
  199.
  200. "About what?"
  201.
  202. "He was gonna ask if we were ya know...dating." She muttered while blushing rather hard at the idea
  203.
  204. >That's it?
  205. >We aren't already?
  206. >So...we're going to your job now?
  207. >Other/Write-in
  208.
  209. >That's it?
  210.
  211. "That's it?" You say with a raised eyebrow
  212.
  213. "W-what do you mean 'that's it'?!"
  214.
  215. "Is that all? I mean I could just tell him that we aren't. I mean, I wouldn't mind it."
  216.
  217. "E-eh?!" Jane replied turning even more Red
  218.
  219. "I mean, I wouldn't mind going out with any of you. Sadie,Saya,Sanja...you know a lot of our friend's name starts with an S." you chuckle but Jane ignores you as she's stuck listening to your words on repeat
  220.
  221. "Red you...goofball!" She yells loudly
  222.
  223. "What'd I do now?"
  224.
  225. "N-nothing...there's just some things you don't say!"
  226.
  227. "What? You're one of my many female partners!
  228.
  229. "What?!"
  230.
  231. "In Justice, you know, so I guess if something like that happened, I wouldn't be upset at all."
  232.
  233. "Well...look, just forget it for now, you're hanging out with me at work today!"
  234.
  235. "Okay sure..."
  236.
  237. Jane leads you to an interesting club. It's not like the place Sanja went to as the place is frequented by much younger looking people.
  238.
  239. "Welcome to my home away from home. Club Love!" Jane exclaims
  240.
  241. "You work here?"
  242.
  243. "Yeah, I'm a DJ here, brings in decent money." Jane replies as she walks up to the counter, a man greeting her
  244.
  245. "Oh hey Jane, you're early...and who's this guy?"
  246.
  247. "I'm Red." You say smiling
  248.
  249. "Oh so you're her boyfriend
  250.
  251. "H-he is not! Stop saying that!"
  252.
  253. "But you want it to be true."
  254.
  255. "Ugh, whatever, I'm gonna get to work."
  256.
  257. Jane leaves you to her own devices as she prepares to get to work
  258.
  259. >Talk to the guy behind the counter
  260. >Mingle a bit
  261. >You're thirsty, get a drink
  262. >Other/Write-in
  263.
  264. >Talk to the guy behind the counter
  265.
  266. You can't help but be curious. Just what does Jane say to people to make them assume the two of you are in a relationship all the time? Well, there's no one else to ask except for the man right in front of you.
  267.
  268. "Hey uh..."
  269.
  270. "Terry's the name." He responds jovially
  271.
  272. "Right, Terry, what the heck has Jane been saying about me...?"
  273.
  274. Terry laughs at your question for a few minutes before speaking again
  275.
  276. "The question here is what hasn't she been saying? Tell me is it true that she rubbed her face on your chest?"
  277.
  278. "Uh yeah, it was a healing technique she told me about."
  279.
  280. "Right 'healing' technique. Come on buddy you aren't blind are you?"
  281.
  282. "What? No I can see!"
  283.
  284. "You clearly can't see what's right in front of ya. Now tell me this, you like Jane right? What about her little Asian friend Saya, they're both pretty cute, can't tell me you never thought of them that way? The two of them talk about you a lot when they stop by."
  285.
  286. >Well they are cute...
  287. >In what way?
  288. >Jane is pretty cute
  289. >Saya is nice looking
  290. >Other/Write-in
  291.
  292. >Well they are cute...
  293. >What are they saying?
  294.
  295. "Well they are both really cute. Saya is fun and down to earth, and keeps Jane in line and Jane is pretty cool too. Thinking about it, we would make a terrfic threesome! Our skills are quite compatible after all!"
  296.
  297. At these words Terry had to stop himself from coughing "Y-you're really gonna try for that? I mean, I ain't gonna judge ya, but they're both friends you know!"
  298.
  299. "Yeah, I know, that'll make things even better. I'm actually thinking up quite a few combinations we could try together."
  300.
  301. Once more Terry nearly falls to his feet. "I could maybe get Sadie and Sanja to join in as well."
  302.
  303. "Y-you're friggin' insane..." Terry mutters
  304.
  305. "Oh yeah, what have Saya and Jane said about me anyway?"
  306.
  307. "Uh...well, Saya came in one day gushing about how you ate 50 bowls of ramen or something. Jane constantly talks about your abs, and both have agreed that you have a nice butt...among other things such as who they'd share the bed with." He squirms at that last bit
  308.
  309. "Huh, I guess they want to sleep with me like Sadie and Sanja did..."
  310.
  311. Terry again just gives you a weird look
  312.
  313. >Talk to him some more
  314. >Order a drink
  315. >Walk around the club a bit
  316. >Other/Write-in
  317.
  318. >Order 2 drink
  319. >Give one to Jane
  320.
  321. You see Jane up at the DJ's booth working her magic. Surprisingly, she doesn't have the usual happy go lucky attitude that she normally would have, but instead her face is one of complete seriousness as she works the turntables making it flow together with the music surprisingly well. It's a whole 15 minutes of her keeping this up before she stops finally, removing the headphones that were on her head.
  322.
  323. "Hey Terry, can I get two drinks?"
  324.
  325. "...Sure." he mutters giving you two of them. You pay for them both (Sadie had gotten in the habit now of leaving you some money for buying food and such if you got hungry). You take them and make your way to Jane who gladly thanks you for it.
  326.
  327. "What were you and Terry talking about anyway?"
  328.
  329. "Oh,he just put a great idea in my head!"
  330.
  331. "And what was that?"
  332.
  333. "A threesome! Or uh...maybe fivesome if we can get Sadie and Sanja in on it, what do you think?"
  334.
  335. Jane didn't reply, because she was out on the floor...passed out from your words. That was sudden...
  336.
  337. You lift her up and carry her to the back, some teens showing concern as you do so. You set Jane down on a small chair and fan her awake.
  338.
  339. >You okay?
  340. >Was it something I said?
  341. >Don't overwork yourself
  342. >Other/Write-in
  343.
  344. >Was it something I said?
  345.
  346. As Jane comes out of her stupor, you pet her head "Hey you okay...? I didn't say something wrong did I?"
  347.
  348. "S-something wrong...yo-you just don't say something like that Red!"
  349.
  350. "I guess I did spring it on you kind of suddenly..."
  351.
  352. "You really did..." She mutters sitting up
  353.
  354. "Sorry about that, I guess I should have talked to you about it..."
  355.
  356. "It's okay...besides." She says leaning into "I'd do anything you wanted to if you just asked nicely."
  357.
  358. "So you'll do it then?"
  359.
  360. "We-well yeah but I need time to mentally prepare and-!"
  361.
  362. "Cool! I'll call Sadie and the others and we can meet at her place to talk about this!"
  363.
  364. "Wait you want to do it tonight?!"
  365.
  366. "Yeah why not?"
  367.
  368. "U-u-um I'm not mentally prepared yet!"
  369.
  370. "Mentally...?"
  371.
  372. "Yeah! I gotta...get in the mood you know. And besides, I gotta go straight home tonight, especially after my dad saw us."
  373.
  374. >Fine I'll save it for another day
  375. >I'll be sure to walk you home again
  376. >I didn't know super moves took mental prepartion...
  377. >other/Write-in
  378.
  379. >Fine I'll save it for another day
  380. >I'll be sure to walk you home again
  381.
  382. "Fine I'll bring it up some other time." You say a bit dejected
  383.
  384. "G-good, that's all I ask." Jane replied
  385.
  386. "Oh yeah, I'll be sure to walk you home, I don't want you getting jumped by someone or something again."
  387.
  388. "Red come on, I'm more than a match for some thugs or the occasional monster."
  389.
  390. "Even so, I'm not taking any chances, I don't think your dad would like it if you ended up gettting hurt."
  391.
  392. "Okay okay, you're quite the gentleman Red, you know that?"
  393.
  394. "It's part of the rules of being a proper hero you know!"
  395.
  396. "Right...well, let me get back to it."
  397.
  398. Jane gets to her feet, returning to her job. What follows is the next few hours of everyone enjoying themselves, and you're no different. Everybody seems to be having fun and you even see that weird Jerry guy from all those weeks ago. You're concerned at first, but Terry tells you that he's a regular who likes to come here since he enjoys the place far more than other clubs due to the lack of smoking and drunked up assholes.
  399.
  400. You decided to let things be for now, and waited for Jane to finish up with her work. Once done, Terry waved you off, Jerry sitting back to enjoy another drink before heading off himself.
  401.
  402. "Man another hard day, but at least I'll have enough cash to finally get what I want."
  403.
  404. "And what's that?"
  405.
  406. "The Wintengo Flip, newest console to hit the market!"
  407.
  408. >The what
  409. >...Right
  410. >So are you done mentally preparing yet?
  411. >Other/Write-in
  412.
  413. >So are you done mentally preparing yet?
  414.
  415. "So..." You say to Jane "Are you done mentally preparing yet?"
  416.
  417. Her face goes red again as you mention that
  418.
  419. "N-no I'm not, now stop asking about that!"
  420.
  421. "Okay I'm sorry, I'm sorry. No more." You say
  422.
  423. "Sheesh...you're incorrigible."
  424.
  425. The two of you make light conversation until you're just a little ways away from her house.
  426.
  427. "Hey Red..." Jane says turning to you as the two of you stand in front of her door.
  428.
  429. "Yes...?"
  430.
  431. "Close your eyes."
  432.
  433. "Huh...?"
  434.
  435. "Your eyes...close them. Now."
  436.
  437. >Uh okay
  438. >No, I'm not falling for it this time
  439. >Other/Write-in
  440.
  441. >Uh okay
  442. >You're not going to try and use your powers to spook me are you?
  443.
  444. "Uh okay...you aren't gonna try and spook me with your powers are you?"
  445.
  446. "What...? No no, just do it okay...I'm getting nervous."
  447.
  448. "Well alright."
  449.
  450. You close your eyes tightly, waiting for whatever Jane has planned, however what surprises you is when Jane pulls you in and gives a deep kiss squarely on your lips. She keeps you locked together with her for at least a full minute before she finally let him go.
  451.
  452. "J-Jane that's-"
  453.
  454. "That...is to keep you satisfied until I'm done mentally preparing, you got that...and not because I felt like it..."
  455.
  456. "I get the feeling you're lying." You mutter
  457.
  458. "Oh just...be quiet okay. It took a lot of courage to do that."
  459.
  460. "Well I'm thankful...?" You say unsure of how to comment
  461.
  462. "S-so am I...but that's all you get for tonight! You'll have to ask one of the others to do the same!"
  463.
  464. "Um...okay?"
  465.
  466. "Good!"
  467.
  468. Jane quickly entered her home, closing the door on you. This day was just getting weirder and weirder...still, you never thought Jane would taste like mangos.
