  4. >Old man tells them to sod off cus he’s on to their boss’ ploy and that he isn’t having any of it
  5. >Old man then sees the van of the mailman in the distance
  6. >this drives him into a rage
  7. >he’s making a scene
  8. >he runs inside the house
  9. >two backpackers are confuse
  10. >neighbors are rushing to get away from the place asap
  11. >the mailman gets there and he tries to quickly drop off the mail in the mail deposit bit and jump back in the truck
  12. >when he’s almost inside the Old man pops back out
  13. >he’s carrying a double-barrel shotgun and a couple automatic weapons and threatens to shoot
  14. >mailman and the backpackers run off terrified
  15. >Old man shouts at them to tell their bosses to stop bothering with him cus “he’s on to their tricks”
  16. >Old man drops off guns, gets his mail and goes back inside the house
  17. >he burns the mail, cept for one which notifies him of the phasing out of the old bills for the new ones
  18. >Old man grumbles and quickly searches for reasons why they should be phasing them out
  19. >government reasons that theyre changing them since they’ve formulated solutions as to make the new bills harder to counter-fit, as well as increasing their security
  20. >Old man huffs and voices his doubt
  21. >letter details that in X time this year, they’ll start to phase out the old bills and theyre informing everyone that they should head to the nearest banks as to be able to exchange their old bills for the new ones, and through a timeline over three years long all the old bills should be completely phased out
  22. >Old man hisses that they’re planning something
  23. >time skip to a year or so later
  24. >we’re at a bank
  25. >we see the Old man carrying a large, covered tub
  26. >people are annoyed by the presence of the tub and the scruffy, unkempt Old man
  27. >scattered around him are stammerings of conversations deriding the Old man by people who recognize him or people who see him for the first time and are repulsed
  28. >he enters the bank and exchanges his bills, and due to the sheer volume of the money he brought, cleans out all the new bills as well as eats up everyone else’s time
  29. >this antagonizes everyone
  30. >Old man doesn’t care though
  31. >he leaves the bank, everyone looking at him with daggers
  32. >he leaves, calling them sheeple
  33. >some urban youth try to mug him
  34. >he shoots in the air and tells them to leave
  35. >they’re stunned and don't move
  36. >he shoots the ground at their feet
  37. >they scatter
  38. >he drives home, tub full of cash
  39. >he contemplates the design of the new bills
  40. >he feels something is off
  41. >he decides to investigate the bills as soon as he gets home
  42. >cont as originally intended from the partially scripted parts
