Background: Dorah was born to an Australian mother and a Korean father in Cairns, Australia. She was the second born after her older sister Mina. For most of her childhood, she and her sister lived a happy life, they lived near the beach and every morning they could go out and surf or swim, during the day they went to school which was close by,, and they had two puppies who loved to run around the forests that were close to their home. When her mother got pregnant with her younger sister Lisa, Dorah was only 3 years-old (her sister was 6) They were excited to be getting another playmate and engulfed their mother with love and helped her with everything, their father, however, wasn’t too happy about it he was having a hard time at his job and he was barely making enough money for the four of them with paying bills and he still had to pay off the hospitail bill from when Dorah fell from a tree and hurt her left hand. It didn’t take long for the two parents to start arguing over small things; at breakfast, they would start fighting over how the toast was burnt, the fights got pretty bad and they would throw things around and break things- Mina who was older would take Dorah and the dogs out of the house and they’d go play near the beach or somewhere close in the forests. This went on for months and all of the stress and worry made their mother go into labor two months early. After Lisa was born the fight calmed down for a little and everything went back to how they were for 3 years (Dorah is 6 and Mina is 9 now, while Lisa is 3). One day Dorah and Mina woke up early and wanted to go down to the ocean for a swim, their parents weren’t awake yet, but Lisa was so they girls got her dressed and they all went down for a swim; this wasn’t uncommon for them since Mina used to do it with Dorah all the time and their parents were fine with it since they trusted the girls and they knew that the neighbors and locals had a watchful eye over them. This time was different though and when their parents woke up they freaked out because the girls were nowhere to be found, they started searching for them but they couldn’t find them anywhere- little did they know was the girls were at the beach only they were at a hidden spot that Dorah had found a year before and when their father came to the beach he walked right past the spot. Their parents freaked out even more and called the police saying they believed their children had been taken away from their home in the middle of the night, by this time it was almost lunchtime and the girls still hadn’t come back yet. The police put out a radar for the girls and headed out to find them, the girls knew nothing of this and were walking down the street with heading back home when a policeman spotted them, he picked them up and drove them back to their house. Their mother was so relieved to know that they were alright and when she asked where they were they told her by the beach, their father, however, was angry and he started yelling at Dorah and Mina scaring them because he’d never yelled at them before, as they girls stood frozen in fear on the couch their mother stepped in and told him to back off, and that they were just children and hadn’t done anything wrong. This made him even madder and he slapped their mother and she fell to the floor, at this moment the girls started screaming and crying scared of their father and he left the house fumming. That was the last time they saw him, he never came home that night or for the many nights after, Mina blamed herself for years after and when she became a teenager she started partying and staying out late, this worried their mother even more and the two would often argue with each other resulting in slammed doors and broken lamps. While this was going on Dorah and Lisa were often forgotten and would busy themselves with different hobbies, Dorah loved fashion and photography while Lisa loved drawing and music. The two made a Tumblr and posted pictures about the things they would make, they made a huge fan base, the two made other accounts (Pintrest, Youtube, Instagram, etc) and they spent most of their time on that while their mother and older sister were busy fighting with each other. Dorah became well known on Instagram and Youtube for her style and funny personality, as well as Lisa and they both, make a Twitch account where they played games with each other and chatted with followers. Dorah wasn’t too far behind her older sister and she was constantly getting in trouble at school for saying something sarcastic to a teacher, pranking someone, or getting into a fight. This stressed her mother out even more and the two started fighting. Dorah was nothing like her sister though and she couldn’t yell back at her mother; whenever her mother would yell at her she’d just stand there and take it all. This seemed to give her mother some kind of power over her and she started hitting Dorah, but once again Dorah never did anything back she just took it.

Why your slot ran away:  Things got worse in their house after their father left and Mina eventually moved out to live with her boyfriend somewhere in America and they never heard from her again. This broke Dorah because the two were so close and she blamed both of her parents for it and she stopped talking her mother and started getting in trouble at school more often, this angered her mother and she began becoming abusive towards Dorah using her to take out all of her anger. Dorah finally had enough and she packed up one night and was about to leave alone when her younger sister happened to see her, Dorah told her to stay, but Lisa said that if Dorah left then their mother would turn on her as well and she was sure she’d kill her. Dorah knew she had a point and agreed to let her come to Korea with her.

-Her and Joshua go out for a walk where they just talk and he asks her why she came out to Korea, at first she doesn’t want to say anything, but eventually, she tells him everything. He feels sorry for her and is surprised at how she is so calm about it and he asks how she is so calm and she says something like “I’ve cried too many nights about my problems, but crying doesn’t fix anything it only makes it worse- I've come to realize that my family is fucked up and I’m fine with that,” he hugs her telling her he’s there for her.
