  5. [19:01:42] <Sydney> One sec. *Sydney finishes a long brushstroke, then dunks her paintbrush in a cup of dingy-looking water. She turns and smiles.* 'Sup?
  6. [19:02:30] <Wolf> *He takes a glance at the mask before his eyes shoot back up when she speaks.* I.. I wanted to talk about what- what you said. Last night.
  7. [19:04:43] <Sydney> *The mask seems to be a version of Dallas' mask. No noticeable changes have been made to the sculpt. Sydney crosses her arms, looking down.* Figured you might. Was even thinkin' about coming and talking to you.
  8. [19:06:48] <Wolf> R-Right. *He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes, choosing his words very carefully.* I... *He opens his eyes again.* I understand. I understand.. that you feel that way. Cause, cause it's hard to get attached to people. Because they die. Or you die. Or you scare them off. I know what that's like, trust me.

  11. [19:13:48] <Sydney> It's more like...there's people I can respect, and people I can't. Like, I'll fuck Aishe no problem, but I don't know if I can care about her yet. I dunno if she's just one of the mindless masses.

  13. [19:15:49] <Wolf> .. Yeah, yeah. I get that. The civvies, they die easiest of all. It's like getting attached to a goldfish. It'll be dead in 2 weeks, but there's still something about it.

  18. [19:21:50] <Sydney> *She gives him a wide smile, but it soon fades.* Heard you had a wife and kid, yeah? What are they to you?
  19. [19:24:08] <Wolf> ... *He looks down, for a second.* I.. I'd like to see them again. I would. But.. It'd make everything worse. For everyone. I made my decision, when I left for America. I... I don't like to think about them. It makes me regret my decision.

  21. [19:27:28] <Wolf> ...... Yeah. I wish they weren't.
  22. [19:27:57] <Wolf> I wish I could just leave them in the past.
  23. [19:29:27] <Sydney> Sorry, mate. *She nods solemnly.* That's why I always burn my bridges behind me.
  24. [19:29:43] <Wolf> *He looks back up at her* ....What about you? Did you leave anyone in Australia?
  25. [19:32:15] <Sydney> I have a family who hates and fears me. I was real tight with some of the Dingoes, but. Well. Things happened, and now they're fuckin scared of me too.
  26. [19:33:25] <Sydney> There's nothing left for me in Australia.
  27. [19:33:34] <Wolf> ... I get that. My folks'd fear me if they knew who I was. *Beat.* ... The Dingoes, they goldfish?
  28. [19:37:26] <Sydney> Some of them weren't. They just... didn't quite get it. They wouldn't go far enough, and the fact that I could scared them.
  29. [19:39:17] <Wolf> .. Makes sense. *He nods, looking down again.* .. Gang gets like that sometimes. Don't understand that sometimes people who aren't neccesarily evil have to die. Like civvies.
  30. [19:42:23] <Sydney> You guys are at least smart about things. Professionals. *She shakes her head.* One of the Dingoes used my real fucking name in front of the guards we had taken hostage. Then threw a fucking hissyfit when I killed them.
  31. [19:45:35] <Wolf> .. Shoulda killed the guy, too. Fuckin' rookie move.
  32. [19:47:18] <Sydney> Thought about it. But he was the official fuckin leader of the gang. The fuckwit. *She sighs, then looks up.* See why I left?
  33. [19:49:24] <Wolf> *He nods, quickly.* Yeah, yeah. Me, I flew solo for about 2 years before I wound up here. The gang's all I've really known.
  34. [19:50:58] <Sydney> It's a good group you've got here. *She hesitates, then adds,* Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
  35. [19:52:08] <Wolf> *Wolf smiles, chuckling.* Thanks for joining. I've never felt understood by anyone since you.
  36. [19:54:35] <Sydney> Me either. *She smiles.* People like us, we gotta stick together, yeah?
  37. [19:54:47] <Wolf> Always.
  38. [19:55:47] <Sydney> Cheers, mate. *She glances back at the mask.* ...Probably should get back to work. Gonna try'n have it finished before he gets back.
  39. [19:56:31] <Wolf> Yeah, yeah, gotcha. *He's out of her way quickly, back to the living room.*
  40. [19:57:05] <Sydney> *She watches him leave, almost says something, but doesn't.*

  42. [20:02:24] <Dallas> ((Aww yeah! So let's maybe take a moment to figure out how you guys wanna approach the Tasteful. What the plan is. More casing? When are you planning on hitting it? Weekday, weekend?))

  44. [20:03:44] <Sydney> ((I'd say weekday. We want an audience but not too big of one
  45. [20:06:39] <Sydney> ((...honestly I'd suggest right around / slightly after closing time. Like 3-4AM. When the staff's there cleaning up, but are super tired))
  46. [20:09:39] <Hoxton> ((Good idea! And making sure the any mafia guys are gone for the night. They could be really nasty to have around.))
  47. [20:10:25] <Hoxton> ((Hox is actually sorry disappoint them :I Though...think we could mabe strike a deal with them? Looked like they beat Dmitri up?))
