  1. - Research on the grimoire and where Pi got it
  2.
  3. The obvious question of 'Pi where the fuck did you find this' gets the following:
  4.
  5. She found it in a sunken ship at the bottom of the ocean somewhere in the Isles. Based on the description of the ship it sounds like something from the late 1800's, from Europe, and likely lost at sea and sunk in a bad storm. The description makes it sound like it was simply a trading vessel, but in the cabin where she found the book was a really really creepy shrine made of bones and feathers, and depicted an aevian, almost draconic, Pokemon. She also mentions some weird scribblings that look a bit like ZODIAC, to her. This book was sitting at the base of the shrine. She has a pretty good recollection of what the unowns were, despite not being able to read them, and with a bit of work you get a sense that the following was scribbled on the walls, in Russian: "THE DRAGON IS OUR BEGINNING AND OUR END. IT UNIFIES US, AND BRINGS UPON US DELIVERANCE TO THE REALM OF THE CRYSTAL. MAY HE WHO GRASPS THE GRAND GRIMOIRE FIND PROVIDENCE." All and all it sounds like some passenger on this ship was a cultist of some sort, and met an unfortunate end at sea.
  6.
  7. As for the book itself, you guys have 'quarantined' it, as it is both supernaturally alluring and clearly has some sort of power about it. The source of this power doesn't SEEM to be Unown-based, but they are closely tied to it. ZODIAC seems rather intruiged by it and quite literally likes to keep an eye on it. Using Pi to turn the pages, you were able to get a sense that this seems to be a history book about another world. It has maps of several continents, bestiaries, and depictions of heroes wearing armor you've all seen before, and some you own. While your own world is pretty supernatural, the images in this picture make it seem like this is way more true in this other world, and that it has several non-human races living alongside others. It also seems to have a section on deities, you think. Images of things like a fiery demon, a woman made of ice, an old man with a thunderbringing staff, a sea serpent, a giant, craggy monster, and a woman with aevian features. There are a few others as well if you want to ask OOC, cause I think you get the idea what's in here even if your characters don't. The depictions don't make it seem like these figures are less worshiped and more feared, they often seem to be inflicting wrath upon a city, or locked in battle with heroes.
  8.
  9. One big theme is it always comes back to this image of a giant crystal. And these humanoid figures in dark robes. There's a lot of images of things that look like runes as well, http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070216002115/finalfantasy/images/3/37/Esper1.gif
  10.
  11. - Beatrice's antivenom
  12.
  13. Trice is pretty sure she's got it working and has been testing it with one of the doofer trooper captives. She hasn't killed him yet so she's pretty sure it works! Given this it's pretty feasible to get some Aura Guardians to practice mending the wounds it makes as well.
  14.
  15. - Shark Fighter and how to portals
  16.
  17. Shark Fighter has been meandering around setting up a network among the major cities. That's done now. As for Rosetta learning how to do this, she's still gonna need a GATE Unown to do it herself, but he was able to teach the
  18. proper Kushvan way of doing it with some practice. A lot of it revolves around having a good mental concept of where you want the gate to open to, and you and the Unown having been there before. Actually getting it to happen is not much different than Glyphing an Unown - and in a lot of ways the GATE Shark Figher has IS a big Unown Prime glyph.
  19.
  20. Mechanically, if you start making a GATE Unown and the Unowns its made of have been with you around locations, when you actually get it to full GATE and Glyph the whole thing, it will function as a Dimension Gate
  21.
  22. - apples and blood
  23.
  24. Let's start with the apple. This thing is clearly biologically engineered with some sorta tech that is beyond anything you could do on Earth, least with a fruit. What's really alarming to you though is that it appears to be made out of fiberous stem cells, and injesting it could really -act- like a miracle cure. That said, it's also deteriorating quickly. If you recall, Cookie mentioned in the past that these 'cure all' apples would rot after a day, and what you're seeing is true here. Once it's been plucked from it's tree, the cells in the fruit begin to rapidly deteriorate until they find a new base, meaning these need to either be consumed soon after picking or used with some other organic matter
  25.
  26. ...Such as the blood samples. The blood samples, which Rosetta found as output from some sorta blending looking machine, appear to be a mix of both Pokemon DNA (In this case, you got some Sawsbuck DNA and some Gogoat DNA), stem cells from the apples (which would explain the pairing knives and core pickers that Rosetta saw), and several other chemicals. Gen, you think these may be vials of Ascension.
  27.
  28. - cute robutts for Saryx
  29.
  30. Saryx, I need to know what you wanted to add to them in the short term and who you're reading out to before I go much farther.
  31.
  32. - Possibly priliminary stuff on the isle involving the Mountain Tribe and traps and such
  33.
  34. Any plans here, folks?
  35.
  36. - An update on Saxton and his balls
  37.
  38. Saxton has emerged both perplexed by these things and remorseful that his products were used to make them. It's unlike any Apricorn he's ever seen on earth, and he feared he would be unable to do much to try to replicate it with the sample broken ball. Then you just happened to hand over a whole bag of the apricorns, the balls, and even a Wildling who can make them trapped in them. Saxton is...open to just handing the balls back to you who would be immediately confronting 'Rapture', as they call themselves, but he's not really sold on using them immediately to capture yourselves being a great idea - whatever these balls do, it has effected the personality and drive of this Wildling guy, so the effects might be somewhat dangerous. If you really want he could try to take the samples he's got and make some sort of 'dumby' ball out of them, that simply marks you as 'captured' if you use it on yourself but doesn't have any of these mind control side effects. He's also handed a few off to the resident Snagger to get working on. But he really doesn't recommend just using these prismatic apricorn balls on yourself right off the bat.
