bryan: I'm just upset over Abby. I really, really know it's none of my business, but she says she's going to smoke for being stressed out. Okay, I can't stop her, but I don't want her to do it over stress. If she does, her body will just adapt and keep creating stress so she can get her fill of it since that's what the brain will want.
bryan: And then this girl is telling me to let her go smoke, which she can if she wants and I have no way to stop her
bryan: But I just don't want to hear about it if she does.
bryan: Too many times I've seen people die from it.
bryan: I just don't want Abby to be hurt from it either.

bryan: It's reponses like that which make me want to try harder. I don't want to give up on her. And I know there's nothing she can do, but it's hard for me to hear her doing all these drugs and whatever and she's young. Ugh, that kind of crap ruins peoples' lives every day; why would I want to listen to her willingly go through with it?
bryan: And it just seems like she keeps putting herself in these situations where she wants more and more, and it's just .. god, I don't know what it is. It bothers me to no end to see her do it.

bryan: But I don't want a friend who could end up throwing her life away so young! Maybe it's worth it to push her away if I can get the message through.
