- Only include events that are speedrun related or organized by members of the speedrun community.
- Fill in the title of the event.
- For the "Location" field put the URL of the twitch stream where the event can be watched. If the location has not been determined please put a link to the event's web site where people can look it up.
- Fill in the "Description" field. A one or two sentence explanation of what the event is about. A link to the event's schedule. A link to the event's web page.
- If the start and end times are known, set these as the time range. If the times are not known, set it as an all-day event.
- If the event lasts longer than a few days, please consult with the other speedgaming staff before making a very long multi-day event. For long tournaments consider making one full-day event for the very first day of the tournament and another full-day event for the finals day (or weekend), if that date is known.
- When we hear about events that aren't mentioned in any of the above sources, we'll post a message to the "Speedrun Calendar" skype group. Please add these events to the calendar and post a message letting everyone know that it's been handled.
- Include all the upcoming SGL episodes as well as other events from our channel.
