  1. Start: 4 pm, Godsday (Tuesday) Midsummer 8, 401 GA
  2.
  3. The party decided to rest, and spotted goblins in the foothills nearby. Instead of resting out in the open, they decided to rest in the swamp, under the concealment the swamp provides. This transpired without incident.
  4.
  5. Steeling their resolve, they made the choice to reenter the crypt below the Founder's Runestone.
  6.
  7. They immediately encountered the Puppeteers they formerly fled from waiting for their return. Combat commenced immediately.
  8.
  9. After combat concluded, they continued to explore the cave. They dispatched the eggs with alchemist's fire, and found a fragment of the amulet within. They collected the amulet fragment.
  10.
  11. Farther into the cave, the ground appeared to be polluted with Gisarlarinzee's blight. Suitably for the Queen of Filth, it appeared to be disease-causing blight. Deeper yet in the cave lied a portal, possibly to Gisarlarinzee's domain, but the precise nature of where it emerged is uncertain. The party did not try the portal.
  12.
  13. Praxis took the initiative to sort through some of the blighted filth within the cave. Predictably, he came up empty, although did not suffer the diseases residing within the filth.
  14.
  15. They pressed on, and found one of two tunnels collapsed. The tunnel that is not collapsed led on to an enormous room with a 400 foot ceiling. The room appeared to have ancient stonework with new, if rather shoddy battlements placed on it, as if it were a forward operating pace of some primitive, but somewhat organized creatures. The room itself was lit by bioluminescent moss.
  16.
  17. The party ascended the upraised platform, and found a portion of the amulet lying unattended. They collected it.
  18.
  19. Soon after doing so, they overheard some goblins, presumably returning to their post. Ryardynin overheard the shaman, Grobul, complaining about orders from "The Mistress', and seemed regretful engaging in some new arrangement. One of the bowman rebuked him, complimenting the quality of their new rations.
  20.
  21. The party prepared themselves for engagement.
  22.
  23. End: 7 am, Day of Labor (Wednesday) Midsummer 9, 401 GA
