  524. The first, most noticeable thing about this room is the cluttered, yet organized nature. It's not so
  525. much that it's messy - merely every available space has been filled with something. The walls
  526. stretch expansively in a rectangular shape, and in the north-east corner a set of stairs -
  527. lacquered hardwood to match the floor - descend, accompanied with a gilded, wrought-iron handrail.
  528. Dominating the east wall, large enough to accommodate the entire room's warmth is a giant hearth
  529. shaped out of stylized stone. Though slightly worn from the elements it supports, it's apparent that
  530. the carvings depict stern-faced lizard-people; quite possibly Xorani. Before this is a ragged,
  531. frayed and stained dark red rug, thick and clearly well-loved Breaching the end of the rug and
  532. dominating most of the room is large, but low-lying table constructed of laminated, yet marred and
  533. scratched dark hardwood. Books of various shapes and thicknesses lie upon its surface, most notably
  534. gathered about where the large, backless chair and worn couch is nearby. A little distance away from
  535. the backless chair, out of place with it not quite facing the table, but rather the aforementioned
