9:34:59 PM) FeldiPhone: After drinking down her emotions to a simmer, with the help of Lifen, Linny returns to the shuttle.  The kid would be asleep for about half a day more. No point wasting time worrying herself sick up in space.
(9:35:35 PM) FeldiPhone: Not when there could be people to hurt and/or make her feel better down below.
(9:41:09 PM) Feldi: Catharsis, or pipeweed, would be useful right now.
(9:42:37 PM) Ikiryo: In the shuttle she spots...bright blue hair in the pilot's seat. Someone is there, making zap and bang sounds with her mouth.
(9:43:32 PM) Feldi: Linny moves up to flump into the co-pilot seat and looks over at her pilot for the moment.
(9:46:22 PM) Ikiryo: As expected, it's South. She's dressed in a blue and white dress with tall heels. She's playing with the controls but hasn't launched yet.
(9:47:18 PM) Feldi: "Practicing for when we find out where the bastards are?" Linny asks with a grin.
(9:49:27 PM) Ikiryo: She nods...and loses her smile for a moment. It soon returns though, if not to her eyes.
(9:52:19 PM) Feldi: Linny has to lean half over the seat's arm to pat South on the shoulder.  "Let's go down to ground.  Maybe they're panicking over losing her, which will make them easy to spot."
(9:52:49 PM) Feldi: "If not, we can distract ourselves."
(9:52:52 PM) Ikiryo: "...do you think I'm a bad person?" She undocks the shuttle, heading down towards the planet.
(9:53:43 PM) Feldi: "You're the third person to ask me that in a month." Linny replies to South, not unkindly. "Why do /you/ ask?"
(9:55:26 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh...I'm just...I'm thinking about something I was part of. Did you hear about the cruise ship? The one Khaira was on?"
(9:56:50 PM) Feldi: "A little.  Something about how some people stole her body, threw her soul through time or something bizarre like that."
(9:58:12 PM) Ikiryo: "We just tried to steal her body...me and my Sisters. My non-north Sisters. It was on a cruise ship with lots of security...so we froze the ship solid. That way we could get on without people attacking us...we planned to unfreeze it on the way out but we got attacked...and all the people on the ship are now dead."
(10:00:29 PM) Feldi: Linny nods slowly as South tells her the important parts. "You killed people without meaning to and now, that you have the time to think back on it, you regret it."
(10:01:30 PM) Ikiryo: "I...wasn't worrying about it before but...that girl. It made me angry...then made me remember there were families on the ship, some with children." She nods
(10:04:04 PM) Feldi: Linny frowns at the thought, crossing her arms over her chest as she thinks. "And you wonder if you're as bad as the people who did this to the girl?" She asks, looking over at South.
(10:04:41 PM) Ikiryo: "Well...not as bad. I didn't mean to, it's not like I went in there saying 'I like to hurt children'. I just...did."
(10:07:18 PM) Feldi: Linny nods. "I could say 'it happens.' But I think that's only true for me on board this ship." A sardonic grins twists her mouth for a moment before she sighs. "You didn't mean to.  Do you feel like what you're doing now would make people think of you as a 'good' person?"
(10:09:20 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, I'm being a robot on racist tree planet...so likely not. On most places though...I'm trying to help my Sister."
(10:14:36 PM) Ikiryo: The shuttle sets itself down on the planet gracefully. South is rather good pilot...though being able to plug her tentacle-like braid into the machine likely helped.
(10:20:08 PM) Feldi: "That's what matters.  The Forces of Order people like to talk about how there are absolute Good and Evil, which coincidentally happen to be exactly who they don't like.  But things are more complicated about that.  You can do really bad things on accident,  but that doesn't make you a bad person, if you're trying to help your friends and family in most of your life."
(10:21:23 PM) Ikiryo: "...alright." She gives Linny a hug. "Thank you." She looks like her moral dilemma is instantly gone.
(10:22:44 PM) Feldi: Linny chuckles and returns the hug. "If you want to talk about it again, feel free to talk to me."
(10:27:01 PM) Ikiryo: "Sure. It makes sense though!" She steps out into the field...and wobbles as one of her tall heels gets stuck in the mud. "Wah!"
(10:28:25 PM) Feldi: Linny helps her out by lifting her robot friend by the waist, freeing her from the mud. "Heels aren't the best footwear choice down here~"
(10:33:10 PM) Ikiryo: "Aww...but I just got how to walk in them programmed into me." She pouts, slipping them off and grabbing some boots from the locker of the shuttle.
(10:35:11 PM) Feldi: "Is that how you and Blue learn to do things? People like Adelinda program things...into you?" Linny guesses at the proper grammar.
(10:37:39 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, no. I learned most of my cooking by trying...but Adelinda looked really happy to program me with it and dancing. Those are both really fun, I kick ass at the dancing video game now." She shakes her head.
(10:40:45 PM) Feldi: "Maybe the next time Reise invites us along for a music video, you can join us~" Linny smiles at South as they walk out onto the field.
(10:42:39 PM) Ikiryo: "Ooh, that would be really fun!" She stomps through the mud, clearly enjoying that. "Linny? Why did they do that to a child? I mean...what is the purpose?"
(10:45:02 PM) Feldi: Linny glances toward the forest. "I'm not sure just yet....but I can guess.  They sacrifice people's lives to animate their golems, Wolds are what they call them.  But, if she became a Lunar while they held her, they wanted her blood to make monsters.  Eventually, they would have made her one too."
(10:45:34 PM) Feldi: Linny grinds her teeth together, eyes wolf yellow again.
(10:46:00 PM) Ikiryo: "...I think I hate these people. I mean, Jaela and her friends are really nice...and that girl looks the same age as them. She should be having fun and making weird predictions, like Jaela."
(10:48:45 PM) Feldi: "She should be," Linny lets out a long breath. "I actually babysitted Jaela and her friends a few weeks ago.  Children shouldn't have to go through what that girl did...."
(10:49:33 PM) Ikiryo: She nods. "I don't know for sure but...it feels bad. I think I want to stop it."
(10:50:31 PM) Feldi: Linny looks over at South, looking her up and down, appraising her. "South...how old are you?"
(10:53:22 PM) Ikiryo: "Umm...that's a good question. I don't know how long I was made...but I woke up a few years before North. Well, current north. So maybe...seven? Eight maybe? But that sort of age is not really the same as it is with people like Jaela."
(10:55:45 PM) Feldi: "You certainly don't look the same age," Linny laughs. "You're still trying to figure out who you want to be, what kind of person you want to become, aren't you?"
(10:56:19 PM) Ikiryo: "Nah. I worked that out already with North. I want to be South, not have the Puppeteer in my head." She grins.
(11:00:03 PM) Feldi: "Not being someone else /is/ a good start." Linny grins back.  "But there's more to..." Linny gestures at the Dryads they can see milling about in the distance. "Life than that.  The fact that you've realized you want to protect the girl, and children like her, is a step in finding out who South is.  That you're not someone who can kill innocents and feels nothing, and can't sit by while...
(11:00:05 PM) Feldi: ...others are being hurt."
(11:00:32 PM) Feldi: "That sounds like a good person to me."
(11:01:43 PM) Ikiryo: "Alright...hey, Linny. Another question."
(11:02:42 PM) Feldi: "Yes?"
(11:02:50 PM) Ikiryo: "...what is that?" She points at the pipe and halfling pipe weed.
(11:04:31 PM) Feldi: "Halfling pipe weed!" She explains pulling the pipe out of the pouch at her hip.  "You put the weed in and smoke it.  We used it all the time during festivals, rituals, and when there was nothing else to do."
(11:04:47 PM) Ikiryo: "Is it fun?"
(11:05:45 PM) Feldi: "Oh, yes!...do you want to try some? I'm not sure if it would effect you, given that you're....metals.  But we can try."
(11:07:11 PM) Ikiryo: "I mean...I've seen North get drunk before. I think I'm close enough." She nods. There are some nice trees nearby.
(11:08:57 PM) Feldi: Linny nods her head towards one with good, sturdy branches.  "Want to sit up in that tree and try a puff then?~"
(11:13:02 PM) Ikiryo: "Alright, that sounds fun." She nods again.
(11:16:01 PM) Feldi: Linny hops up, grabbing hold of a branch and dragging herself up to sit on it.  She prepares the pipe as she remembers from days long past.
(11:16:49 PM) Ikiryo: South clambers up beside her, not having any issues despite her dress. She waves to a rather confused looking dryad passing by.
(11:18:41 PM) Feldi: Using her claws and a little Lunar magic, Linny adds a spark to the end of the pipe.  She passes it over to South for the first puff, explaining how to smoke it.
(11:20:20 PM) Ikiryo: South inhales it a bit too hard and end up coughing and coming close to falling off the tree branch.
(11:22:27 PM) Feldi: Linny reaches out to steady her. "Not so fast! Take it slow.  It's about relaxing, not trying to get as close to the Gods as fast as you can."
(11:24:43 PM) Ikiryo: "Right." She nods. "Like good food? Where it's about enjoying the flavor and mouth-feel, not just shoving as much in as possible?"
(11:25:57 PM) Feldi: Linny looks a bit disturbed at the word 'mouth-feel' for a moment, but moves past it. "That's right. Try again, like if you were savoring a juicy piece of meat...or whatever you like to eat."
(11:27:35 PM) Ikiryo: "I like sweets." She tries again, this time doing it properly.
(11:29:05 PM) Feldi: Linny watches, smiling.
(11:29:26 PM) Ikiryo: She passes it back to Linny. "Woo, that was interesting."
(11:30:25 PM) Feldi: "Do you like it?" Linny asks, before taking her own slow drag. Her eyes close as she savors the chance to smoke for the first time in years.
(11:31:54 PM) Ikiryo: "It's interesting...though I feel a bit funny in the head."
(11:33:07 PM) Feldi: "You're supposed to feel like that. It frees the spirit, lets you connect better with the world around you." She offers the pipe back to South, if she wants.
(11:34:45 PM) Ikiryo: She takes it, taking another drag. "Oooh, like Hana does?"
(11:36:39 PM) Feldi: Linny nods. "Something like that~ I know our priests used pipeweed in most of their rituals."
(11:36:59 PM) Ikiryo: "Oooh. I don't know much about gods."
(11:39:38 PM) Feldi: Linny takes back the pipe and, after a puff, blows out a ring of smoke with a grin.  "Not even the Omnissiah? I just learned about him recently, but I thought you and your sister might worship him."
(11:40:48 PM) Ikiryo: "Not really. The Quori have minds but not souls...so gods are not really a thing for them." She shakes her head.
(11:42:20 PM) Feldi: "But you have a soul?" Linny asks as they pass the pipe back and forth.
(11:43:20 PM) Ikiryo: "I think so? Khaira thinks I do and she seems to be the expert." She tries blowing a ring. It doesn't really work but she looks like she enjoyed it.
(11:45:04 PM) Feldi: Linny giggles at that. "Not bad for your first time. You want to shape your mouth like this-" Linny shows how she does it without and with a pipe. "Try again~"
(11:45:59 PM) Ikiryo: "You have an advantage, you have really big lips." She grins and tries again, making a very off-center ring.
(11:49:00 PM) Feldi: "Excess loved their plump lips," Linny replies with a huff, but she's still smiling. "You're getting better! So...do you want to start worshiping the Gods?"
(11:49:40 PM) Ikiryo: "...I dunno? Why do people do that?"
(11:51:13 PM) Feldi: "Because the Gods watch over their worshipers, provide comfort in the dark times, and sometimes grant boons, blessings, for those who please them most."
(11:52:23 PM) Ikiryo: "...huh. That's kinda cool."
(11:55:42 PM) Feldi: "They also provide guidance on how to live, what you should do in your life.  I worship-" Linny takes a drag and blows out another ring-"Luna and the Ruinous Powers....for you...I think the Omnissiah, from what I've heard of them and Slaanesh might work best for you."
(11:56:42 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh? I know a bit about the Omnisiah from Sierra...he sounds a bit dull. I like emotions."
(7/28/2017 12:00:12 AM) Feldi: Linny shrugs. "Yeah, that sounds boring.  Mostly..it's because he's metal and your metal.  But no emotions...." Linny wracks her brain for a better fit. "I can't think of another God that works for you."
(12:01:28 AM) Ikiryo: "What about that Slannesh person you mentioned?"
(12:04:46 AM) Feldi: "They're the God of new experiences," Linny starts off, her voice getting blurry at the edges as the pleasant haze of the pipeweed settles over her. "She teaches us to seek out what we enjoy, fix what we don't to make it better, and to always do our best for others and ourselves."
(12:05:33 AM) Ikiryo: "That sounds nice." She nods a little hazily.
(12:09:28 AM) Feldi: "She is....would you like to pray with me to her one day?"
(12:10:18 AM) Ikiryo: "...maybe." She tilts her head. "After I ask some people who don't already worship her." She sticks out her tongue. "Multiple sources~"
(12:11:59 AM) Feldi: Linny chuckles. "That's fine.  The Ruinous Powers aren't for everyone....but they're always there, for those who have no where else to turn to."
(12:12:45 AM) Ikiryo: "Alright. I'm just not stupid~" She smirks, taking another puff. "Still, they sound nice. I like making things and experiancing new things."
(12:15:06 AM) Feldi: "People can take their worship to extremes, but that's not how you're supposed to live your life.  Nothing to Excess, everything in moderation." She giggles.
(12:15:46 AM) Ikiryo: "I thought it was Annandra to Excess." She giggles in turn.
(12:17:17 AM) Feldi: "Annandra, Khaira, North...Blue, and me.  Most of us had trouble~"
(12:19:04 AM) Ikiryo: "Yeah but Annandra went there willingly~"
(12:20:21 AM) Feldi: Linny snorts. "Yeah, I can't say she didn't.  Lucky I was there to slap her better~"
(12:21:58 AM) Ikiryo: "...I think she needs slapping again."
(12:23:03 AM) Feldi: Linny blinks slowly, really starting to feel the pipeweed. She giggles again.  "Why?"
(12:23:41 AM) Ikiryo: "Because I havn't seen her in like...twelve hours so I'm sure she was got again~" She giggles.
(12:26:25 AM) Feldi: "Blue bet that she would be~ I hope she isn't though.  She'll feel terrible again..." Linny sighs.
(12:27:36 AM) Ikiryo: "...I'm pretty sure she likes it. I don't understand it but that's what my analysis says."
(12:29:05 AM) Feldi: Linny can't say that she's wrong.  She sighs again. "Hopefully she'll change."  She takes the pipe and takes a long drag of it.
(12:29:33 AM) Ikiryo: "Into what this time?"
(12:31:17 AM) Feldi: Linny glances over at South and snorts into a full laugh. "Ah-ha..." She shakes her head ruefully.
(12:31:55 AM) Ikiryo: South grins, taking another drag herself. She's looking a bit shakey. "This is fun..."
(12:32:32 AM) Feldi: "Isn't it?~ Maybe we should get down from the tree, before you fall off~"
(12:33:17 AM) Ikiryo: She leans backwards...and falls, her legs catching on the branch and leaving her hanging upside down. "Whee~"
(12:34:46 AM) Feldi: Linny laughs as South hangs. "Impressive~"
(12:35:28 AM) Ikiryo: She tumbles down the ground, landing gracefully...save for the bit where she lands in a mud puddle and gets splashed in the face. She giggles.
(12:38:37 AM) Feldi: Linny jumps down herself, not splashing herself, but still stumbling after she lands.  "You've got stuff on your face~"
(12:39:44 AM) Ikiryo: "I do! I think I need to go back and wash my face...and maybe cook something."
(12:40:01 AM) Feldi: "Feeling peckish?~"
(12:40:11 AM) Feldi: "Pipeweed does that to you~"
(12:40:41 AM) Ikiryo: "I always feel peckish. I wouldn't cook if I didn't like eating~" She sticks out her tongue...then blurts as she tastes mud. "Bad plan!"
(12:41:32 AM) Feldi: Linny laughs, hands on her belly. "Too earthy for your taste?~"
(12:41:58 AM) Ikiryo: "Bleh, Bleh, Bleh." She pouts.
(12:43:35 AM) Feldi: Linny grins. "So, you're heading back to the ship?"
(12:44:41 AM) Ikiryo: "I don't think the people here will let me use a shower."
(12:45:16 AM) Feldi: "I think there's a shower in our little bungalows if you want to use that."
(12:45:27 AM) Feldi: "No Dryads allows other than Khaira~"

(12:45:40 AM) Ikiryo: "Thank you!" She hugs Linny, getting mud on her.
(12:46:43 AM) Feldi: Linny snorts at that.  It's cold and...well, mud, but she's been covered in much worse.  At least mud doesn't transform you or shrink your clothes. She hugs South back.  "Come on. It's this way."
