To give you a brief overview of the one situation that has already been touched upon today.

For the past week or so one of the officers of my guild started having for lack of a better term "A mental breakdown". He snapped with no real reason and started lashing out becoming increasingly toxic and unreliable and also began actively undermining and attempting to damage the guild. For these reasons I removed him.

In his response he got two of our player's accounts banned for account sharing, I am not going to try and argue the semantics of it as my opinions differ from the staff but the accounts were former players of the guild who we played with spent a lot of time helping level and gear up and then quit due to various reasons of their own. the accounts were left in the stewardship of the guild to use as we saw fit (always a generous offer considering the time it takes to level, gear up and attune a new player). Now I am not going to argue the validity of these bans, the Staff has their reasons for banning these accounts just as I have my reasons for allowing it to happen in the first place.

Furthermore the player in question "Dizeliun" had Admin access to our guild website and lashed out but completely ruining the website. ( http://dejavu.shivtr.com/ )

I approached GM Akatana today to get these issues dealt with as there is a further story considering Dizeliun. He is a very unstable person and has already caused one player to quit the server in the past over a dispute, this confrontation culminated in a Real Life attack on the person using information gathered through TS/Mumble/Website access to gather personal information on this player and create something that got distributed to his work and his girlfriend causing very severe and damaging real life repercussions to this person. I asked GM Akatana to ban Dizeliun with the information I have just provided you along with some other information and testimony that I provided to him to help justify it. (He has been account sharing too). However the REAL concern and cause for the urgency is because Dizeliun is a dangerous person who has already caused Real Life problems for one former player on this server and given his current state of mind is liable to do it again if someone else triggers him. I understand that what he gets up to outside of the game isnt neccesarily within the bounds of the server rules, but it is still in the best interest of the server to remove him from the playerbase lest he damages another players life. The Private Server community is very tight knit and word of things gets around fast, if something like this happened again it would only be a matter of time before a reddit post linking L4G with this type of player would come out and that would be very damaging publicity for the server and almost certainly add a nail to the coffin so to speak.

GM Akatana has banned him temporarily pending review of the situation by Losti and Abbadon when they return on Sunday.

and for reference, ( http://looking4group.eu/hellfire/showthr...p?tid=2361 ) here is Dizeliun's post asking why he was banned and is trying to incite more issues from this (thankfully he doesnt know the full story and believes to be banned strictly for account sharing, I would prefer the true reasons stay confidential and out of his knowledge due to the very real threat that he poses to myself personally and other members and officers of my guild.)

I have read your message and I completely understand the severity of the issue. I'm happy to hear you got in touch with Akatana and that he took immediate action.
Right now over half of the GM team is on vacation, so there will be some delay before we can give a final decision in this case.
