  7. There was something, or someone, lurking in our basement.
  8. I don't know why or how, but I just couldn't shake the weird feeling that there was some kind of person or animal hiding in my basement. I've never had the most trustworthy instincts, but I think there is definitely something going on down there. It seems that every time I walk down there to do laundry or to grab something out of storage, I hear munching noises. It also is smells more like rotting bodies with each passing day.

  10. The whole thing started to get really frustrating when I kept needing to clean out the dead bodies from the basement and put them in the garbage. Every one of them has rotted and been picked apart to the point where you can't even tell if it's a human or an animal. It's rather gross and I would really like it to stop.

  12. One time when I went down to get the laundry going, I heard the munching noises again. Normally these just freak me out a bunch and I just end up running upstairs in fear. That time, I decided to investigate. I grabbed the most dangerous looking thing I could find in the immediate vicinity, a rake, and searched the basement. It didn't take me long to find the source of the noise, and I was appalled at what I saw.
