	↳ growing up, maemi lived a pretty normal life. her family was relatively small, with her only have an older brother
	   that was about three years older than her. she was close to him, and although he often teased her, maemi still
	   felt some sort of brotherly love from him. even at a young age, maemi was seen as always smiling and being
	   hopeful, something that kept her family going through the occasional rough times. maemi's interest in music began
	   when she attended her school's spring concert for the first time. she loved the songs that the chorus sang, and
	   by the next school year, maemi was already signed up for chorus. surprisingly, maemi was a natural. with a little
	   bit of help, her voice had become something beautiful, which was a shock to her parents since musicality did not
	   run through the family. her parents had allowed maemi to take a few more vocal lessons, seeing the potential that
	   maemi had, as well as maemi's constant begging for a vocal teacher. one day, while randomly listening to music,
	   she tumbled across one of boa's japanese albums, and instantly became interested in the kpop industry. by the time
	   maemi was 15, she tested her talent and luck by auditioning for a few korean entertainments, luckily being
	   accepted, which leads to where she is today.
