  1. [08:25:48] He didn't know what to think -- he was lost on what kind ofperson he really was. A fighter? A boy? Sarradian? He knew he was a traitor now -- perhaps the Sarradian held the same title of Tristan. He did not know, but, it was clear that he was confused by eveything; that thoughts were scattered across his brain like ashes in the wind.
  2.
  3. Of course, with the ideas of what he wanted to do -- the boy is unsure. Though, as his hands were infront of him; the bracelets of Elenora are prominent in his vision as he comes up with an idea! He slowly begins to sit up -- holding his arms out. Fingers seem to wiggle as he stares at the adopted Avharain.
  4.
  5. "Can see sword?", he asks; he was going to put the bracelets to use! Of course, aside from that -- there was the sudden memory of who he had saved with these bracelets before. "Oooh, saw sister yesterday -- Zan..th?"
  6. (Amir)
  7. [08:35:12] "Mmn?" Why would one desire to weild a blade alike this one? Especially when a capable weapon was techinically within his hands at this very moment. Yet hardly did he seem to hesitate over the initial inquiry, Azrael's touch having been drawn from its sheathe to be set upon the table in an idle fashion.
  8.
  9. "Be careful if you're going to touch it." The sword itself had a slight tinge of depravity to it. Enough to the point where contant warrants slight stinging of the flesh. Whether that be the case due to its material, or the fact that he was not of azrealite origin remained unknown. Yet, he seemed to wield it with ease at this point.
  10.
  11. "I'd rather you avoid hurting yourself." He doubt that'd be the case though. A strong magus would have little worries over the effects of it.
  12. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  13. [08:43:44] His eyes rest upon the blade that his friend had held since they first met -- so intricate it seemed, perhaps alike his own bracelets; the Sarradian intended to try and mimic it with his stave! But he wanted to get a closer look; the Sarradian would have hopedthathe'd agree to it, at least; and when it was rested upon the table, does a smile appear upon his lips.
  14.
  15. "Trying something..", he states; staring at the object! His bracelets -- they were used to make weapons, used to bolster the power of ice magic, used to make himself stronger, and, well, he wanted to see how far he could go -- to mimic all of the weapons that his friends used.
  16.
  17. So, after a bit of focus; the Sarradian's ice magic comes into play -- and -- there's a slight glow to things as it begins to copy the shape -- perhaps a bit scratchier, but. . . He displays it to Ninurta. It seemed far more accurate than a normal ice magus. Aside from the occasional bump -- or scratch.
  18. (Amir)
  19. [08:59:56] Ninurta was curious as to what would be attempted with just the sight of his blade, patience seeming to be one of his key traits as he watched the subtle glow of his magic going to work. "Hmn." A rather artistic trade with just the performance of magic alone, but he had known of that innate ability to mold with ice since long ago.
  20.
  21. "Not bad, Amir." A gloved hand is brought to run over the surface. He'd have normally been bothered by the cold atmosphere that came with using ice, but having handled the element for so long one could easily see that there was an affinity towards it at this point.
  22.
  23. "I'd say you're probably better than me at molding things. I just use it here and there as a quick solution." Be it preserving items, or hindering the movement of an opponent, Ninurta didn't seem to think much beyond the ordinary things one could make easy with magic.
  24.
  25. "Why are you doing this though?" He asks, while reaching for his weapon.
  26. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  27. [09:17:52] Eyes trace over hte new blade that he had made; the bracelets of Elenora good for something like that, increasing the pwoer of ice magi -- making weapons with their magic, pure -- powerful -- stronger than any molding that another magi could make with their cryomancy (???), the Sarradian seemed to be somewhat successful.
  28.
  29. So, of course, he glances at the bracelets; wind, water, fire -- the orbs that were within it, combining to make the elements of ice -- the elements of steam -- the elements of all three combined. The Arcanium weapons were stolen from Danarium, though, they would be used to protect him if things went bad while he was. . . Here.
  30.
  31. He didn't know if being in the east would continue to be as safe as Ninurta has said it is. Glancing to his bracelets, one of them is displayed to Ninurta! "Makes ice magic stronger.. Uh, makes weapons.", he states; they could make other things, but the weapons? They were stronger than most steels -- perhaps even holding the weapon could one realize that. Either way, Amir turns back to the table.
  32.
  33. "Maybe -- maybe spar -- fight.. Uh, practice.", he states; what was the word for that? He had no idea.
  34. (Amir)
  35. [09:29:48] "Fighting hmn. You'll find that I'm not the most talented." A scholar by nature, and the type to usually avoid skirmishes if it wasn't necessary. Most of his strengths lied in the knowledge he sought after, however there were times when the books could be put down for a good fight or two.
  36.
  37. Yet, that question does leave him wondering if Xanthe's new 'friend' was doing as he said. A sigh is pushed beyond the premise of his lips however, where he'd set aside that weight for a later date. Life was too good to be stuck on the thought of potential work.
  38.
  39. "But, if you want to spar. It can be done. I'm sure there's many empty spaces that we can use to play around for a bit." With his blade resting within its sheathe once more, the prince rose from his seat as if though he had already decided what it was they'd be doing.
  40. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  41. [09:40:54] Ninurta seemed like one of the people who were probably legendary warriors if you factored something like age into the mix, but, the Sarradian was unsure of things like this -- he was one of those people too, was he not? Oh, well, it fe wasn't that talented; it would still be fun to try. His hands rest upon his own version of 'Azrael's Touch', the crystalline blade that he had created.
  42.
  43. However, of course -- he didn't have a sheathe; the Sarradian would ahve to carry it within his hands for now. Also, there was the fact that they were currently in the keep; the fact that if he moved a single thing out of place, he'd probably be killed by the king, not for the fact that he was a former custodian, either.
  44.
  45. He did hear of a Tilandrean Arena, however.
  46.
  47. "Uhh.. Isn't -- isn't arena somewhere? Fight there. Maybe."
  48. (Amir)
  49. [09:52:00] It doesn't take him long to find an open area. Having lead him between the crimson pillars and down below into what was assumed to be another church within Tilandre, Ninurta eventually seperates himself from the Sarradian to create a proper amount of distance for them to stand their ground.
  50.
  51. "This should be fine, right? This place is pretty sturdy." Stones and statues seemed to litter the area, with a plentiful amount of beams to makesure that it could withstand the damage of a focus attack. Surely, two mages alone would not be enough to have this place topple? Well... hopefully that answer wouldn't be answered...
  52.
  53. "I'm ready when you are, Amir." Of course Ninurta wondered if he would really use that sword. Wasn't he a mage? Such would warrant that his ability to wield a weapon like that would be a bit awkward...
  54. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  55. [10:07:21] Amir would've followed the crimson-haired boy through the streets of Tilandre, probably careful to avoid the crowds of people within the city; he didn't want to be in the public if the king didn't even know he was here -- that he'd probably get arrested if not known. Either way, the two had walked through the city with identical blades!
  56.
  57. "Looks okay.", he states, drawing forth his own blade; a shroud of wind slowly ocming to cover his frame; so little did the boy often fight nowadays, the only time being against Basile, Cyne, and Rylus -- now it was against Ninurta, a test of strength. One to see if he was better than the crimson-haired boy, of course. If not? There wasn't much of a problem; it was only a friendly battle.
  58.
  59. Of course, once the battle had begun; wind, water, ice and earth become prominent; with the rushing walls of earth to the freezing, powerful typhoons circulating around the room -- Amir aimed to win!
  60. (Amir)
  61. [10:10:46] {combat} Amir has been defeated by Ninurta E. Avharain! They're unable to continue fighting.
  62. [10:17:36] It's really hard to determine what's going on amidst the small skirmish at hand. Wind seemed to be a prominant element from both mages present, the only moment when it seemed to calm considerably being when there was a sufficient amount of space in between.
  63.
  64. Though, each time they seemed to clash, more damage was brought upon one another. Ninurta's being more physical while Amir's was more focused on the intensity of the winds that surrounded his form. Yet, a small victory is claimed whenever the Avharain breaks through to land a blow with his palm into the Sarradian's chest, the force behind it just enough to have him skid back.
  65.
  66. He seemed heavily focused on not bringing harm to the Sarradian's belongings. After all, this was just a spar, and the last thing he wanted to do was cause unecessary harm. Towards others? Well, he wouldn't even consider such a thing.
  67.
  68. "I suppose you'd like to go again, right?" There had only been one round, and Amir didn't seem like the type to get tired after one encounter.
  69. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  70. [10:26:08] Wind was something they both specialized; along with how they were both powerful ice magi, the boy howeve r-- was not a swordsman; perhaps the defining difference between the two -- the difference between them was that Amir had no muscle, and therefore; could not defend himself against the blade that Ninurta had.
  71.
  72. However, the blade that he held in his hands -- it would prove to be powerful. With every clash their blades may have made; one would find that his own blade; only composed of pure ice magic, wouldn't have even cracked -- it was clearly more sturdy than other ice constructs; a result of the weapon's power; a result of his own ice magic being strong enough to even make a weapon!
  73.
  74. "... Yeah.", he states; holding the blade -- it was time to try again... He rushes forwards! Spikes of ice try and hit Ninurta -- earth tries to block shots, wind attempts to send him away.
  75. (Amir)
  76. [10:27:50] {combat} Ninurta E. Avharain has been defeated by Amir! They're unable to continue fighting.
  77. [10:32:06] Amir knew what he had to do -- even if he had a sword, he had to be more careful! nothing was going to work if he went into the face of the Avharain. So, instead -- Amir begins to parry strikes with the large blade; sending off shards of ice at Ninurta; only for the fractured pieces to reform onto the blade. He had to back away. It was clear!
  78.
  79. With the tornados; the walls of earth, and the constant spikes of ice magic flurrying at the form of Ninurta, it's not long before the new strategy seemed to work -- it's not long before the Sarradian would've claimed victory. He swings at the air; sending forth shards of ice that attack at him! However -- the winning shot is a simple blast of wind, meant to push him off his feet.
  80.
  81. "Again?", he asks -- perhaps to copy the Avharain -- perhaps to taunt him? Either way; he had no bad intents. But he gets ready for a third round; they had to have a tiebreaker!
  82. (Amir)
  83. [10:41:29] It was certainly bothersome to enter within range of the male's magic, his clumsy approach having been nothing but a punishable offense made by Amir. Yet rather than grow discouraged he readies himself for what would perhaps be the final battle ahead...
  84.
  85. "Ahh, not bad. But yeah, I'm not down." Whether or not that was a taunt had been unknown, but the Avharain figures that this is quite the surprise. Amir went from someone that could barely grasp upon the workings of his own magic to someone that could easily best him if he messed up.
  86.
  87. It was a shame though, that he hadn't built the sarradian up to this. He definitely remembered having all the tools necessary to do so... Oh well. There was no use crying over spilled milk.
  88. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  89. [10:43:12] {combat} Amir has been defeated by Ninurta E. Avharain! They're unable to continue fighting.
  90. [10:49:10] It's certainly a close match between the two, and Ninurta himself is unsure of whether or not that was a good thing or not. Whatever the case may be, he managed to survive the flurry of wind, only to endure just long enough for Amir to tire himself out. "Hmn.." It seemed that the talent he so quickly acquired only served as a means to burn through his reserve of mana just as fast, as Ninurta's final motion of an offense had allowed for him to secure a victory in his name.
  91.
  92. Though, when it's all said and done the prince offers a hand to Amir so that he could steady himself. The fight was a bit exhausting, and he certainly wouldn't be surprised if Amir had managed to expend too much of his energy.
  93.
  94. "Good fight. I'm sure you'll get stronger than me with time. I never really look forward to excessive matches like this." As stated many times before, Ninurta never wanted out of his way to fight others. Demosntrations of strength only needed to be performed sparingly, when the situation demanded for it.
  95. (Ninurta E. Avharain)
  96. [10:59:24] Amir had been exerting too much mana it seemed; pulling from his blood -- the lifewell, or whatever, was too complicated right now; not when he was battling against Ninurta, however -- it was like when he'd battled Aurora not long ago; he had it in his grasp, and so-suddenly did it stop -- so suddenly did that die out!
  97.
  98. Being beaten -- the Sarradian seemed to be offered a hand quite quickly, and it'd be taken -- the Sarradian simple shrugging his shouldres; he was quite.. Into the fight -- acting like mana wasn't what fuelled his attacks until there was none left. However, he had gotten close! Either way, the Sarradian child soon stands up!
  99.
  100. "... Close, at least.", he states; it was far better than any of his other fights. "... Desert fight was easier.", he states; perhaps to. . . Well, insult those who'd battled him! The military of the Legionnares -- the girl -- the horned boy, and the Yokai.
  101.
  102. Ninurta managed to do more damage to him than all three of them combined!
