  1. NickLegoGod: BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
  2. Bandkanon: hi
  3. NickLegoGod: D:
  4. NickLegoGod: Something wrong?
  5. Bandkanon: >>
  6. Bandkanon: <<
  7. Bandkanon: no?
  8. NickLegoGod: Good!
  9. NickLegoGod: ::Hops into your arms:: Then tell me a story.
  10. Bandkanon: D: hu
  11. NickLegoGod: :P
  12. Bandkanon: um
  13. Bandkanon: once upon a time
  14. Bandkanon: there was the Earth.
  15. Bandkanon: But this was ages before humans, or dinosaurs.
  16. Bandkanon: :I It was the time of a forgotten race, which we'll call the Beyond Ancients... because they're Beyond Ancient.
  17. Bandkanon: They existed uhhhhhhhhhhh 100,000 years ago, maybe longer.
  18. Bandkanon: 150,000.
  19. Bandkanon: They were created by Earth with the knowledge that the planet had a soul, magic, the ability to create and destroy life. They learned the ways of living cooperatively with the planet, taking from it and giving back.
  20. Bandkanon: They managed pretty nicely for a while. 50,000 years passed without much fuss at all between the Earth and the Beyond Ancients, and with the milk energy of the planet they expanded their domains and improved their technology considerably... then a comet hit the Earth's surface. :I
  21. Bandkanon: It was a poisonos comet, and burned its way into the earth's core.
  22. Bandkanon: ...poisonous, too.
  23. Bandkanon: It drained the Earth of its life nectar, which we're gonna call root from now on, and in doing so earned the power to move around on its own. The comet shed its skin and took on the form of a green orb. The comet apparently was just as sentient as Earth and called itself Ogma. Said it was the 'lord of dimensions' or something and claimed that its arrival was proof of the coming of ages. Some Beyond Ancients actually believed it to be their true God and erected monuments to worship it. Others remained devout to the Earth's soul.
  24. Bandkanon: :I But eventually the earth became sick. It earns its Root through the recycling of Earth-born lives, so the still-devout Beyond Ancients began sacrificing their brethren.
  25. Bandkanon: Normally incredibly powerful females.
  26. Bandkanon: One, though, was betrothed to a prince. Stupidly enough it turned into a romeo-and-juliet fiasco or something and the prince wound up sacrificing himself in her place because he was a stupid romantic idiot and didn't want her to die.
  27. Bandkanon: She reacted by praying to the planet to become one with it. Everyone else heard these prayers and felt their heartstrings being pulled (except for the stupid Ogma devotees) and the stupid Earth devotees all traveled to where the stupid wench was and began praying for the same thing.
  28. NickLegoGod: o.o
  29. Bandkanon: Apparently this caused some kind of connection coz the collection of people in one area (probably like over five hundred thousand) caused every present body to petrify and their souls to be turned to -living- Root and transferred to the Earth. The petrified bodies turned into a gigantic pillar reaching beyond the clouds, called the 'Monolith'.
  30. Bandkanon: The monolith caused the "wash" which pretty much wipes the earth of (most of) life, bringing forth another age.
  31. So while almost all of the remaining creatures on Earth were being destroyed the few Ogma devotees to survive were like "GAAAASP fuck this shit we're done here" and abandoned their religion. The monolith sank below the surface of the Earth to hide within the core, and the Beyond Ancients went into hiding under the earth's crust as well.
  32. Bandkanon: It definitely helped the planet regain its health. And Ogma seemed to just become inactive after that, making itself completely unknown from then on.
  33. Bandkanon: Every 50,000 years, the Monolith would rise from its resting place and issue another 'washing'. Dinosaurs were too dumb to notice the calamity so they just died off without a fuss.
  34. Bandkanon: But then the humans came after them... The Earth had kinda become a recluse by then so it never made itself known to humans. So they didn't know their role in life. They were completely unable to use Earth's power. No animal was. Not since what happened to the Beyond Ancients. So humans just went on in life, thinking they were so great... until the Monolith rose from the crust.
  35. Bandkanon: Taking notice of it, humans started studying it to find out where it came from using whatever technology they could. What they -did- discover was that it was somewhat sentient, and with that knowledge they found out it was going to wipe out all life on earth.
  36. Bandkanon: Humans panicked and started trying to destroy it to no avail. Then the weirdest shit ever happened.
  37. Bandkanon: A weird pink kitty-like fairy thing with wings came to them. An alien of course. (and there so many people said aliens didn't exist). She called herself Eve, and said she could rescue them from their fate. That she just needed to take a look at this 'monolith'.
  38. Bandkanon: So, the leaders of the world decided to trust her, giving Eve whatever resources she needed.
  39. Bandkanon: She went to see the Monolith, studied it... then purposefully triggered it so the monolith would perform the wash early.
  40. Bandkanon: Humans reacted violently to her betrayal of course, but she appeared to be much more powerful than even the greatest army. All she had to do was crystalize them.
  41. Bandkanon: Few humans managed to escape into space. Only the best and elite, scientists and rich and powerful people... you know how it goes.
  42. Bandkanon: They were gone from Earth for 1000 years.
  43. Bandkanon: Pretty much everything else on Earth died. And once it was perfectly spotless (or so she thought), Eve made nest of the planet and laid her first children.
  44. Bandkanon: Mew.
  45. Bandkanon: From then on, Earth was to be the home of creatures passed on from another dying planet. The VERY few humans to be found remaining on Earth had to learn to adapt to these new circumstances, and live in tandem with these creatures. Over time they forgot everything. Or maybe one of these creatures -made- them forget. Or something. But typically enough the first few creatures decided to pamper these remaining humans and give them a sheltered tunnel-vision life, so they couldn't learn the truth.
  46. Bandkanon: :I And that's the true origin of Pokemon.
  47. NickLegoGod: :/
  48. Bandkanon: :I
  49. NickLegoGod: This story needed more mudkips
  50. Bandkanon: And then there was mudkips.
  51. Bandkanon: The end.
  52. NickLegoGod: :D
  53. Bandkanon: ... :| was it at least ok?
  54. Bandkanon: ... ;_; because that's the background story for my rp. ...or at least the gist of it.
  55. NickLegoGod: Hehe....
  56. Bandkanon: ...
  57. Bandkanon: "hehe"?
  58. NickLegoGod: You really had me surprised
  59. NickLegoGod: I was like "HOLY SHIT is she making this up on the spot?"
  60. Bandkanon: xD Oh hell no. It took me AGES to think up the entire story.
  61. NickLegoGod: <.< Because then I'd be a bit weirded out
  62. NickLegoGod: :/ S'good though.
  63. Bandkanon: :I good.
