Resolution

Every story of attacks on the great capital city of Madain Sari end the same way, "But the Walls of Resolution did not fall". Made in the first age by a circle of lunar exalted, the great city was built in a harsh and unforgiving swamp, deep in the jungles of the East. The City's grand brass walls remain Resplendent even in the age of sorrows, and the ancient workings hold strong, that the Walls of Resolution cannot fall, and that those who swore to defend them shall rise to its defense until their bones are dust. The city would be quite famous, if the swamp surrounding the city were not the most thoroughly unpleasant place to live in the whole of the east. Mosquitos the size of grapes, snakes the length  of trees, river dragons marked with scars and coated in thick leathery scales that could swallow a man whole. Even if the Walls of Resolution could fall, certainly the only thing to be won is being able to claim that they have done the impossible.
