- page 1:
- Rutherford: So, erm, that thing in sickbay, that was months ago. What had you all stressed out in the jeffries tubes just now?
- Guz: I spent weeks working up the courage to go talk to Tendi. I made little excuses to show up in sickbay. But one day, she just... wasn't there anymore?
- T'ana: Hey! Goo girl! Tendi doesn't work here anymore. If there's something ACTUALLY wrong with you--
- Guz: NOPE! I'll just be, ah, going...
- Rutherford [thinking]: Right, that must be when Tendi moved to senior science officer training.
- Page 2:
- panel 1
- Guz: I didn't see Tendi at all for a week! Then, I was in the mess hall.
- Guz is building a model kit of an Orion nuclear pulse rocket while sitting on her own in a booth.
- panel 2
- A tray with food carried by pale green hands is set down on the table.
- Page 3:
- Tendi: "Is that a model of the N.P.P. Marasha?!" Tendi is really impressed and excited.
- 3 panels of Guz paying attention to the model. Guz: "Yes--well, it's the sibling ship N.P.P. Goargar, you can tell because--" She looks up, and then is surprised.
- Tendi: "Where's the warp whirligig?"
- Guz: "Well Marasha's warp drive was only ever a prototype, Goargar continued to be used as an interplanetary tramp freighter until the Alnitak War, when it was converted into a War Rocket, and--" (imagination thought bubbles depict Marasha, Goargar, and the War Rocket version at battle.)
- Tendi: "Wow, you sure know a lot about Orion history."
- Guz: "I know about rocket history!"
