- Possible Marathon Submissions 2021
- 1. WaterBlue Any% (est. 2:15:00)
- Pros: Short, relatable to vanilla, can get Randall/Pickle on commentary
- Cons: Have to load a save
- 2. WaterBlue E4R2 (est. 4:20:00, probably 4:30:00 for extension from Any%)
- Pros: Wacky strats/routing, somewhat relatable to vanilla, can get Randall/Pickle on commentary, can be incentive to extend from Any%
- Cons: Have to load a save, long
- 3. FRLG Bulbasaur% (est. 2:35:00)
- Pros: Short, nice alternative to Squirtle/Charmander, get someone on commentary (?), could do Dux vs Bulba race?
- Cons: Have to load a save
- 4. SolarLight & LunarDark Any% Passwords (est. 4:10:00)
- Pros: Very unique (fakemon, colorful visuals), very weird routing/strats
- Cons: Long, may be updated if I run it later in year, which may make it harder/time to route
- 5. Gold 97 Reforged Any% Glitchless (est. 4:05:00)
- Pros: Nostalgia, cool "fakemon", MAYBE get GHeinz on commentary?
- Cons: Long, drags on in the midgame, need to do LID manip (?) though could either load a state or just say it was done
- Plan:
- NoGA: Gold 97 Reforged, WaterBlue Any% (with extension incentive - need to route this)
- PSR: All 5
- NoHA: SLLD, FRLG Bulba, Switch game (?)
- Could swap FRLG Bulba with WB
- NoGA might accept everything I submit, so I DO NOT want to submit all of them. Perhaps do WB and add incentive to extend to E4R2 (either post Blaine cutoff or post Champ)
