Elspeth tells you 'Vaporize / 288 seconds / 3600 uses to start / Currently EAL 8 out of 11.  I have
it down to 2416.  It has 193 hours left on it.  If it followed the equation my vaporize would be
maxed already since I have two EALs on it.'

 'Many of the arcanist EALs have
no consideration for resource cost, which is a very hard
throttle on time.'

Final resolve, 181 hours for first EAL
seconds * uses / 360 to convert it into hours.

                   Incongruity is set to I think 72k uses for its first EAL.  It has a 2s cast time.
This adds up to about 40 hours on paper.  However, I can at most cast it five times per resonance,
or 5 times per minute.'

                   Volatile flare (My main attack) is particularly egregious because while the times
map onto the hours correctly, the resource throttle is immense.  I can't raise it through ordinary
playing because arcanist is built around casting your attack as little as possible-- building damage
is faster than dealing damage.'

                           'What this means is that I
didn't see my first EAL, slated for 20 hours, until around
1400ish hours played.  I was pretty active during a lot of
this time.'

                            Anyway, it took me two months
to fill out my flare EALs from like 6/11 to 11/11 where I
was at it most of the day.  During this time I couldn't
kill anything actually valuable since my flare without
debuffs has a base damage of like, 100.  So my only real
option was to sit and blast baby mobs for two months.'

11:46:34 Elspeth tells you 'Even then I have to constantly
make new resonances and channel, so the time stretched out
much, much further than the estimated 40 hours it was
supposed to take.  I think I made one hour of progress
every two hours, or something like that.'
