  7. When you cast one of your prepared cantrips/rotes/charms, roll +DEX.
  8. ✴ On a 10+, the cantrip is successfully cast!
  9. ✴ On a 7-9, the cantrip is cast, but choose one:
  10. • You draw unwelcome attention or put yourself in a spot. The GM will tell you how.
  11. • The effects spiral beyond your control, possibly horribly so.
  12. • You need some time to get your tricks back in order and can't cast for your next 1d4 rolls.
  13. Note that maintaining cantrips with ongoing effects will sometimes cause a penalty to your roll to Street Performance.

  16. When you have a long period of rest, you may settle down and swap out your current available cantrips, rotes, charms, and what-have-you. You can only have 2+your level in cantrips at a time.

  19. When you weave a performance into a basic spell, choose an ally and an effect:
  20. • Heal 1d8 damage
  21. • +1d4 forward to damage
  22. • Their mind is shaken clear of one enchantment
  23. • The next time someone successfully assists the target with aid, they get +2 instead of +1
  24. Then roll+CHA.
  25. ✴ On a 10+, the ally gets the selected effect.
  26. ✴ On a 7-9, your spell still works, but you draw unwanted attention or your magic reverberates to other targets affecting them as well, GM’s choice.

  29. When you [b]fabricate a mirage over a person, object or location[/b], describe your illusion and roll +DEX.
  30. • On a 10+, your illusion succeeds for all of three senses.
  31. • On a 7-9, the second you stop focusing on the illusion, it dissipates.
  32. Take -1 Ongoing to Smoke & Mirrors while you have an illusion active, and an additional -1 for every illusion after it.[hr][hr]
