HOLD UP

Covet: Eli was sitting on the couch flipping through an order, with a bunch of other papers spread out on the table. His brow was furrowed and he was clearly deep in thought while he was going over all the business stuff.
Tsaaq: Bliss was moving about the store with a wash cloth, wiping everything down while things were slow. She glanced over to Eli on the couch as she leaned forward, wiping the coffee table, y'know work stuff.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam was slacking off. There is no better way to say it. After all the studying and research he's been doing lately, he decided to stand in front of one of the arcade games since they were slow and give himself a little five minute break to kick some video game ass. He pushed his fingers into the buttons on the front of the game, his left hand holding onto the joystick and rotating it around like it was nobody's busness.-
Covet: "Oh, sorry dear, I wasn't trying to get in your way at all, I should really consolidate all this down." He said finishing up with the order, he set down the stack of papers and started reorganizing so that Bliss could wipe the table down. He smooched at her, giving her a smile.
Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head at him, blushing a little as she proceeded to wipe down the rest of the coffee table. She gave him a flirty nod as she stepped away from the table, immediately tripping. So much for being sexy. She walked over to Adam and furrowed her eyebrows, just sort of watching the game.
Tsaaq: ((Okay bye I guess.))

Alexithymiaa: -Adam glanced over his shoulder at Bliss when he felt her presence, frowning to himself. "I'm sorry. I'm almost done. Do you need help?" // Jade walked in through the front doors of the shop, the tall male walking beside her with his arm casually draped over her shoulders. "So this is pretty much the coolest shop in Portland. I cant believe you havent been here yet." She turned and gestured toward a rack of comics, starting over for them. // Cal glanced around the shop with raised brows, letting out a small sigh. "Yeah... can't believe I havent been here." He walked over to the rack of comics with her, continuing to look around and not look at the comics like she was.-
Covet: He never too his eyes off her, even as she tripped, He winced a little but he found that her flirtacious attempt still worked and he gave her those doey romance eyes. When he heard the door open, he looked over to see Jade and the guy from the picture online walk in.  His brow furrowed again as he looked him over and scoped him out then watched them wander off to a comic rack. He went back to cleaning up and reorganizing his paper work, in a more rushed fashion until he had it all gathered up making his way to the counter, which was a much better perch for watching people.
Tsaaq: "Not really." Bliss shrugged. "Just curious as to what you were doing." She said before glancing at the door and seeing Jade and the male. She inhaled sharply then turned away from Adam. "I just remembered I have to clean things." She said hurriedly, looking down as she went for the counter to grab the rest of the cleaning supplies.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh...uh..." He paused, finally losing the game and turning away from the machine to watch Bliss walk away. "So... you don't want me to help you clean things?" // Jade leaned forward to pick up one of the comics from the shelf, thumbing through it before replacing it on the rack. "Pick one. We can read it together. It'll be fun." // Cal kinda just shrugged with no enthusiasm, slipping his hands into the pockets of his jackets. "Whatever you want. It doesnt matter to me."-
Covet: Eli looked over at Bliss and gave her a smile as she came to the counter and started getting cleaning things. He saw Adam off on one of the arcade games, since it was a slow night, he wasn't worried about what he was up to. He looked at Bliss and raised his eyebrows in concern, "Is everything okay, Dear?"
Tsaaq: She frowned a little as she picked up the bucket and looped the handle onto her forearm and she looked at him. "Nothing of course, preparing for preemptive Spring cleaning of course." Bliss told him quietly. "Have to have the store nice and spotless for when the droves return." She nodded her slowly.
Alexithymiaa: -Abandoning his spot at the game, Adam crossed the shop and walked over to the counter, dropping his hands down on the surface. "So, what do ya'll want me to do?" // "Let's get this one." Jade grabbed one of the comics off the rack, turning to make her way over to the counter, setting it down in front of her and looking between the small group lingering there. "Hey." // Cal swept his hand over his head and turned to follow her, clearly not very amused with being in a comic shop as he just stood behind her trying to count down the seconds until they could leave.-
Covet: "Are you sure?" He asked then pulled her in for a quick kiss on the lips, "If you say so My Dear, I appreciate the hard work and attention to detail you have" He turned around when he heard Jade's voice and stood there for a second looking at Bliss, before his brain kicked in,  making him realize duh, work He turned around and gave a friendly wave, and an awkward greeting, "Hey you two swell kids" . He looked at Adam, "I think they're ready to check out, if you want to take over that." He took a quick moment to notice Cal's demeanor, then over to Jade, " Did you find everything you're looking for, and Who's the new customer?" He asked with a very professional tone.
Alexithymiaa: (Eli stop)
Tsaaq: "Of course." She attempted to say lightly. "Thank you." She leaned into the kiss. Bliss lowered her head a little before taking a step back once her escape was foiled. "Thank you Adam." She said with a small smile then went to walk around the counter, rummaging around in the bucket.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam nodded and moved around the counter to stand in front of the register, taking the comic and scanning it into the computer. // Jade smiled at Eli and shifted her bag on her shoulder, turning to halfly face Cal. "This is Cal. Cal, this is my friend Eli." // Cal stepped up to the counter and looked Eli over once before sliding his arm over Jade's shoulders. "This is.. uh... a nice nerd shop you guys have here."-

Covet: Eli could feel his eye twitch when the guy put his arm around Jades' shoulder, he forced a polite smile on his face and nodded his head, "Nice to meet you Cal. Thanks for the compliment, we take pride in that word here." He said with a politely.
Alexithymiaa: (OHHHHH good one)

Covet: [I fucked up my post... There was more to that....did I fucking delete part of it?]
Covet: * He said politely. "Did you happen to find anything for yourself Cal? We've got lots of options here. Or is all this a little nerdy for you?" Eli said trying not to sound bitter, but he was totally salty right now, even though he has no right to be.
Tsaaq: Bliss looked between the three of them and sighed, lowering her head as she went to scrub down one of the tables of the booth, rolling up her sleeves and mercilessly cleaning the surface in silence.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam kind of just awkwardly stood there because he's not an idiot and he could feel the tension in the air on top of this fucker being a rude ass piece of shit. "Um.... cash or credit?" // Jade stuck her hand into her bag to pull out her credit card, pushing it over toward Adam. "Credit." // Cal stood up a little straighter, shifting to eye Eli. "Not really my thing."-
Covet: "Well that's unfortunate." Eli said curtly, leaning against the counter, then glanced over at Bliss, "It's rather nice to have someone who shares your interests, Isn't it My Dear?"  He asked intending to bring her into the conversation and flaunt her, because apparently this is a competition now.
Tsaaq: She him calling her broke her focus on the cleaning. She stood up a little and glanced over her shoulder, furrowing her eyebrows a moment. "Well... Yes, of course?" She replied, since it seemed like the answer was way obvious to her. Bliss pouted a moment before turning around, bending over and resuming her cleaning.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam took her credit card and swiped it, printing out her receipt and passing both the card and receipt back to her before bagging the comicbook and holding it out toward the two. "Well... ya'll have a good night." He turned awkwardly, trying to escape into the bathroom because this tension made him want to flee. // Jade took her card and receipt from Adam, pushing it down into her purse and taking the bag with her purchase in it. Pursing her lips, she forced a smile at Eli. "We're going to go. So.... goodnight." She turned away, taking Cal by the hand and all but dragging him to the exit. // Cal walked hand in hand with Jade despite his body turned to face Eli, making a douchey face at him before reaching down to grab Jade's ass on their way out.-
Covet: "Have a good night, you two. Get home safely. Thanks for stopping in." Eli waved, giving a friendly smile to Jade, then glared at the guy when he made his douche face.  After they were out of the shop, he looked at Adam, "Thanks for that, I think we're going to close up shop early tonight. You'll still be paid for the full hours though." He added. "So if we want to hit up the closing duties fast, we can all get home early tonight."
Alexithymiaa: (Adam went to hide in the bathroom)
Covet: [Oh right. x.x My god I'm shit tonight. I'm sorry. I'll fix it and just have Eli realize he's talking to himself]

Tsaaq: Bliss lifted her head as she glanced only a moment when Jade and Cal walked out of the store. She sighed as she moved on to the next table, scrubbing thoroughly since that was the only thing aiding in her anger.
Tsaaq: ((Smfh.))
Covet: Eli looked around for Adam then blinked, "Oh...Or I'll talk to myself about this." He said realizing Adam had already bailed, Figuring he was in the bathroom he knocked on both doors and spoke loudly, reiterating the same statement  About closing up early and paying him the same time. He walked over to the till, intending to count it down and finish up the closing stuff. His eyes occasionally glanced over at her when she moved to the next table, feeling that gut feeling that there was going to be a talk.
Tsaaq: Bliss finished scrubbing the tables and went over to the counter. "Alright." She said before shrugging her shoulders. "Is there going to be an issue, because I don't want to look like a fool." She said quietly. "Because I JUST got used to you again and thought things were getting better and now you're over here... Doing something. I'm not even sure."
Covet: Eli looked over at her as he finished up the the til, droping the bag in the safe. He turned to her as she came over and walked over so he look her in the eye, "Nothing is going on. That's the first time we've all been in the same vacinity, and I didn't know how to act, because of  the last time we were all together. As for my attitude to the guy, he just didn't seem to care for this place, I took that personally, because this place is everything to me. I'm sorry if I made you feel awkward. I'm actually annoyed that she brought someone like that in here in the first place. He just seemed to judge all of it." Eli said with a huff, getting aggitated, He exhaled and closed his eyes, opening them again, giving her a self ashamed look. "I'm Sorry."
Tsaaq: She shook her head a little, going to lean her elbows on the counter as she looked Eli in the face. "It's alright my darling, and I beleive you..." She muttered with a nod. "But-" Bliss added with a raise of her eyebrow. "You have to be completely honest with me. Yes, believe that's why you were irritated, but there might've also been something else. And if there was tell me now." Bliss said sternly. "Because if you aren't honest now and you start being honest later then that won't be good. You want to earn my trust, this is part of the process. Instead of brushing things off like last time when I bring things up I'm hoping you do things diferently now."
Covet: He looked at her, and nodded his head taking a deep breath, "I'd be lying if I wasn't a little jealous as well, but it's fleeting. I'm even more ashamed that I felt it, because you and I are doing so good right now. And I want to keep that up between us. Because it's made us so much better together. I don't even know why I felt jealous, What's there to be jealous of? " He frowned, his brow staying furrowed as he got frustrated at himself.
Tsaaq: "I don't know..." Bliss whispered as she lowered her head, crossing her arms as she stood up straight. "Are you sure you don't have feelings for her?" She asked. "Because I can't think of any other reason, besides your super ego telling you that she's still yours-which she isn't- and no one else can have her. Which is irrelevant because you have me." She sighed.
Covet: "I'm sure. I care about her, but It's not a relationship kind of care." He said looking at her, " t's a general well being kind of care, like. Older brother kind of care." He sighed and leaned over pressing his face against the wood of the counter, "You're right, and I don't need her, so how do I tell my stupid boy brain, to knock that crap off, before I end up hurting you again? Because I don't want that. I never want that again." He said looking up at her, with a pleading look.
Covet: *It's
Tsaaq: Bliss pursed her lips as she walked around the counter and stood beside him. "I can't full find an answer for you Eli." She told him softly. "But I would hope you would think instead of going with the first emotions that pop into your head..." Bliss trailed off. "I would like to think that you would think about what your life would be without me in it, and if you're fine then I suppose... That's how it is. However if the very thought of me not being in the picture isn't feesible to you then perhaps it'll make you think twice?
Covet: "Yeah, maybe that will help. I hadn't thought about it like that. I just need to stop and think first. I'll be better I promise." He said softly still angry with himself, partially choked up he swallowed and nodded his head, "I can do better for you." Eli leaned up off the counter and wrapped his arms around her. "The thought of you not being here with me, isn't something I can stomach these days."
Tsaaq: She sighed, then wrapped her arms around him as well, leaning against him. "Then just try harder... I'd do the same for you. I want to be able to trust you..." Bliss said quietly as she frowned. "I want us to be able to move past this."
Covet: "I will, and I want the same." He took a deep breath and pulled her close, taking another deep breath, "I'm ready to go upstairs now, I'd like a shower before we lay down. Then I want to hold you close and pretend like the rest of the world doesn't exist and it's just me and you. Can we do that?"
Tsaaq: "I would like that." She smiled a little as she nodded her head, going to kiss his cheek before getting her things and going to take his hand. "Are you ready honey?" Bliss asked him softly as she squeezed his hand a little.
Covet: Eli leaned into her kiss, then took her hand and squeezed it back, "Yes, I just need to set the alarm and lock the door and hit the lights." He did that while she got her things, then took her hand and gave it a squeeze back. He pulled her close and gave her a soft sweet kiss. He broke the kiss, then headed through the office and out the back, with her hand held tightly in his,  as they  headed upstairs to do all of that stuff while he mentally beat himself up for being an ass.
