Background: She was born in Seoul and lived there till she was one and a half then her family moved to Austin, Texas because her dad found a higher paying job. Her dad is fully Korean and her mom is Japanese-American. She got made fun of in middle and highschool because of her mixed race but learned to ignore it. She listens to a lot of rock and metal music. She was an emo kid in highschool. When she was 10 she learned how to play  guitar and drums. It was very important to her mother's japanese side of the family that she and her siblings that they also had a japanese name.
