Q/ What is a segmented run?
A/ Unlike RTA Runs where you do a run in 1 sitting, Segmented runs are done in several sittings where you take the best segments to make a run which is incredibly clean.

Q/ What is the difference between a 'Segmented run' and a 'TAS'?
A/ First of all, all segments are recorded on an unmodified Nintendo 64, whereas a TAS is recorded from an Emulator. TASes use frame advance to do frame perfect tricks which aren't really RTA Viable. Whereas a Segmented run has strats which are all RTA Viable (Maybe not RTA Friendly though), however, you don't have the advantage of Frame Advance. This means that 1 mistake in a Segment, and you're looking at having to redo the entire segment.

Q/ Why not use an emulator?
A/ Long and short, DK64 emulation is bad and inaccurate.

Q/ How many segments are in this run?
A/ 84

Q/ How many hours did it take for you to make this?
A/ In terms of recording potential segments - 80h17m34s (Video files totalling 99.1 GB). In terms of generally, I've been working on this since 13th June 2016

Q/ Why have you made this?
A/ I'm genuinely interested in how far this category could be pushed in theory. It's hard to do so RTA because of various resource-limited difficult tricks (eg. Key 8 Room O Clip and DK Factory Early (And also Door Clip if you want to save an additional 50 seconds))

A/ You'll have to find that one out for yourself :P
