Anya Backstory

Anya had been born as Yana Volkov, orphaned shortly after her birth. She never knew the warmth of love true parents could give, but she fought every family and orphanage she was put in. Finally, she disappeared all together from the system, only to reemerge years later as a fully grown adult. But something had happened. The young woman knew she wasn't fully human. She didn't want to be. She felt darkness swirling inside her, and this darkness kept her safe. She had no one except for that dark feeling inside her... her demon blood.

Years would go by, the word of a monster picking off people in random cities started to spread. Even hunters were being killed by the monster that roamed, easily able to tell those that wanted to kill it from mundanes. Though, it still killed indiscriminately.
