Rejected tjTODAY's founder writing here. I'll break character for a bit to reminisce and write a few more words of appreciation and gratitude for Gavin, now that you know about him.

Gavin joining the RtjT team was one of the luckiest moments of my life. That was back in the early days, when RtjT had just surged in follower counts. I sat down with my lunch one day, and lo and behold, there was Gavin, scrolling through all 30-ish headlines, reading them out loud to everyone else in the room, and I had my first holy-crap-I-have-something moment. And then I felt guilty for laughing at my own jokes, so I told him, and a couple days later, in came his first suggestions, and thus started a partnership I've been ridiculously fortunate to be a part of.

So thank you, Gavin, for being clever and hilarious in ways I'll never be, and for being RtjT's guinea pig and rejecting (har!) all the crappy headlines. Thank you for always finding time to contribute despite being so freaking swamped with the rest of your life. Thank you for helping build Rejected tjTODAY into the account that it is, and just overall being a great person to work with and a great person to call a friend. Rejected tjTODAY has one senior superlative, and that is The Only Senior That Matters, and the award goes to Gavin. If Gavin is not your favorite senior, wow are you ever wrong.

Gavin will be joining the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech in the fall. All the best, you marvelous beeyotch.
