- +Anthony B. __ Of course they know it is bullsh!t. "Shills" are not born - they are made. With each lie they tell - it gets easier for them to lie. With each bullsh!t explanation for bullsh!t - it gets easier to invent bullsh!t to explain bullsh!t. With each word of praise they write to someone who has posted nonsense - it gets easier for them to write words of praise to someone who has posted nonsense.
- The advocates - the proponents - are each *naturally charming* and *intelligent enough*. They can hold an audience - even if you despise them. *They have the very potential to do genuine damage to the lie system* - _if the lie system doesn't first identify, *target* and *corrupt* them._ Which it has done - _has always done_ - *and continues to do*.
- The lie system rubs off on them and makes liars out of otherwise good and intelligent people.
- The whole point of the "flat Earth" disinformation campaign and now the "mind blowing 60-foot tall giant trees" is not just about selling dinner plates or promoting flat Earth music but to capture and cultivate an audience of people who suffer from certain thinking flaws that make them vulnerable to these things. *And in so doing further isolate, contain and constrain _the very people_ who could be functioning against the lie system*.
- The cycle stops when each member of the audience averts its gaze from the figurative Medusa. It stops when each "charming scumbag" has been made aware of the process that is happening to them. They will *hiss* and *spit* like serpents. But they are still human and can be reached.
- *The only way to defeat an idea is to point out an even better one*. That isn't going to be easy and it cannot happen overnight - _and it is beyond the scope of one person._
