- Theres alot to unpack here as im sure everyone is aware this launch hasnt been the smoothest however Fawkes is actively working towards stability but for now anyone who needs support please join the Fawkes discord for the best potential support but for the time being the most urget issues i can point out are
- 1. if you are unable to launch the game from thr fawkes hub go into the files and boot the defiance launcher from there and if you still have issues and it either A disappears or B turns into a black screen with white in the center
- -Try putting an exception on your firewall
- -closing it and opening it without touching anything and or turning off full screen optimizations in the exe settings
- -running as admin
- -if you have bit defender following this guide or uninstalling bitdefender or non-standard antivirus entirely
- -----
- 1. Open the Bitdefender Total Security dashboard
- 2. navigate to Protection on the left hand bar
- 3. open Antivirus with the blue Open link under Antivirus in the Protection Features
- 4. This will open a page that says Antivirus in black bold letters on the top. Under that select "settings".
- 5. Next to Manage exceptions hit the blue Manage exceptions link.
- 6. Select "+ Add an Exception"
- 7. An exceptions options window will open. Enter the path to Defiance.exe(should be "[install directory]\Defiance\default\game\Defiance.exe"
- 8. Make sure Antivirus, Online Threat Prevention, and Advanced Threat Defense are selected (the dial next to each one is to the right and blue) and hit save.
- 9. Do the same for launcher.exe.
- ---
- if you are unable to download it
- -try running fawkes hub as admin
- -restarting your pc or router
- (Anything other then windows 11 may have more issues as well)
- (join the discord for more support ongoing issue with no definitve fix)
- if you are struggling to login either by invalid creds or blocked
- -make sure your email is verified and if it still says blocked use a vpn or wait for updates
- -enter your password slower if its reading invalid creds it may help if not wait for support and join the discord
- if you are struggling to connect
- -keep trying as of 2am est its luck based as their actively working on increasing the player limiter
- -restart your game
- -check your firewall settings

- if you have bought gems accidentally on the wrong game or bought something and it messed up (ie bought 30 slots and it only gave you 15 or bought something and it didn't appear) open a ticket on it may take awhile for them to respond but they will get to you when possible https://fawkes.freshdesk.com/support/home
- (when you login you have to click login as customer the email and password box that appear are not for the customer login it should log you in automatically if your logged in on the main page already)
- if you are stuck in the tutorial it is a known issue that is related to the player limiter same with if you disconnect after an instance based mission
- im sure there are more issues but im only one person and i dont have everything documented i hope this helps and i hope you all understand patience and understanding goes a long way the dev team are working and doing their best with the time they have

- For anyone wondering when its coming back to console or when dlcs are coming their looking at it and want to work towards dlc and if things go well relauching on console also Note: support is being held up by primarily dedicated users so please be patient devs will reply occasionally but they are extremely held up with fixing the servers and doing tickets so users like me and others have been dedicating our selves to helping the community
- if your trying to use controller and it doesn't work by default after turning on controller overlay in setting download external software like ds4windows and it should work they will work on better support in the future
